In the human world , Light actually missed L , he had no-one to boss him about and tell him what to do, Light never thought he would feel this way, Light never actually loved misa, misa is the one who loves him ,and light is using misa for her knowledge and her shinigami eyes.misa can never see past this though, she is so engrossed in her love for light.

Meanwhile L was getting bored in the shinigami realm, he introduced cake to the other shinigamis, they love it now all they do is eat cake so L has no-one to bond with. He just watches Light all day and eats cake, But his feelings are getting out of control he is taking pictures of him and telling the other shinigamis about his feelings, but ryuk overheard that conversation .....
