Light was with misa, sitting down snuggling on the sofa, when  ryuk appeared his limbs were all shook up, he hadn't ate an apple in 2 weeks. light rushed to his fridge and grabbed the nearest apple and fed ryuk. Why was ryuk there, he was finally going to tell  light about  ryusaki aka L. 

Ryuk was panting, trying to catch his breath for 10 minutes he finally caught his breath and blurted out the information. Light was pleased at this news he was happy that someone would have L as a shinigami, L finally wasn't gonna be alone, ryusaki never loved anyone apart from cake sweets and more and more cake.

Back in the shinigami realm L was adoring the sight of Light, hatching up a new plan to make the world a better place, with no criminals so him and misa can live freely. But L was slowly falling in love with light ,just watching how smart he was, made L so amazed and proud that he had helped Light achieve that in a way, because if light hadn't of been with L that day, then he wouldn't have got his death note back.
