-Epilogue-
It had been many years since the war, many years since Harry's life was no longer constantly in danger. But that couldn't ever get rid of his memories, how could he forget everything that happened when he was a teenager?
"Albus wrote us." Ginny walked in the room holding a letter, Harry sat up in his chair and waited for Ginny to read it. "He said that he misses us and that the O.W.L's are difficult. He also said that Lily and James are doing fine."
"That's good, they should be coming home soon, right?"
"Luckily, I don't know how mum could deal with her time apart from all of us. She even missed you, obviously. Although I bet she was fine with Fred and George being away." Ginny chuckled as she sat down on the couch.
"Aren't they coming over for dinner tonight? I invited Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Lupin, Tonks, Teddy, and a few others. Are your other brothers coming?" Harry asked before sipping his coffee.
"Besides Ron, Fred and George, Only Percy, Bill is still in Egypt for work and Charlie is in Romania studying a new breed of dragon."
"Percy?" Memories popped into Harry's head, but Ginny put a hand on his cheek.
"My brother, Not your old friend." Ginny chuckled sadly, "we can't resurrect the dead, now can we?"
Harry half-smiled, "Right, of course. How's his job, Anyways? I heard he's doing well."
Ginny nodded, "He thinks he might be promoted to Minister of Magic one day."
"That's good, he doesn't visit much so I'm glad he can come."
The two were silent, and Harry decided to turn on the news. There wasn't anything interesting, mostly Muggle issues he liked to laugh at. But then a particular news story came on.
"A twelve year old boy from New York, who was reported missing with his mother, and also has been suspected as a possible terrorist, has been found in California with two other children his age. He was found having a stand-off with a man who was threatening him with a weapon, luckily for the boy he got out of the situation safely. He and these other kids were kidnapped by this man, a waitress from a diner took these photos of them before she reported it to the police."
Photos of a boy who looked similar to Percy showed up, and Harry frowned.
"The boy, Perseus Jackson, was taken home safely, and his mother was found. It appears that it was only a misunderstanding that luckily ended well."
Harry felt his heart skip a beat, maybe reincarnation was real, and maybe that was Percy's new life. He sighed and turned off the TV, standing up and walking to the door. His brain couldn't comprehend the situation, so he decided he needed to clear his mind.
"What're you doing?" Ginny asked, standing up as well.
"I think I'm going to go for a walk."
Ginny grabbed his arm to stop him, "I'm coming too."
Harry smiled and held her hand, "well, I was going to go to the memorial, it's fine if you'd like to join me though. I could use the company."
"Of course," Ginny giggled and kissed Harry on the cheek.
"We're getting so old." Harry remarked, looking back at all the time that has passed. His godson, Teddy, was already nineteen, his own children were pre-teens or early teens. Within the next decade he might get a grandchild. Time was going by so quickly.
He rarely thought about Percy, though he made sure to give the name to one of his children. Albus Perseus Potter. Named after two brave wizards.
"Don't say that, we're not even getting grey hairs or wrinkles yet." Ginny giggled, "have you seen my parents? Now they're getting quite old!"
"They're still ginger."
"Oh stop it!"
The couple laughed, exiting their house and walking to the memorial that was made for the second wizarding war. Harry purposely chose to live nearby, so that he could visit it whenever he wanted. (And without the use of magic.)
Somewhere in New York, the demigod, Percy Jackson, was out there. Though he had no idea of the life he once lived, part of him felt a sense of nostalgia. Even if the mind erases it, one can never truly forget something so extraordinary.
-The end-
——————————————————————————-
Was that a decent ending? I wouldn't know. My standards are so high for my writing lol.
Anyways, this story has been a roller coaster, many months ago I was going to discontinue it due to feeling as though no one was reading it. I lacked inspiration to even write a paragraph, but then I received some comments that encouraged me. These last few months have been full of planning, but finally we're at the end.
This story hasn't gotten too much attention, so I really am thankful for everyone that decided to leave a comment, vote, and read. It means a lot to me that you all enjoyed this. In the future, I may decide to write another Percy Jackson and Harry Potter crossover, but probably will make it another original idea. I'm not sure though, I have two other series planned before I even start to think about it.
Speaking of new series: I'm writing a Percy Jackson high school au, I'm unsure of when I'll release the first chapter, but I'll let you all know. I might take a month long break so that I'm not too stressed over it, since I've had this huge wave of writers block for a while now.
Anyways, thanks for putting up with me through all this, I probably killed you guys with the last chapter.
-thanks for reading-
