You wake up on the couch with arms wrapped around your waist from behind. The first thought that hits your mind frightens you. You don't want anything stupid to happen between you and Taehyung just yet. The four of you did open a few cans of beer last night but you never got drunk. And you don't remember anything that sort happening either. So you fearfully turn around.

You heave a sigh of relief when you find Rose sleeping peacefully beside you, her small physique making it possible for her to be so comfortable in that tiny little space. This is when memories of last night dawn upon you and you remember the Park siblings deciding to stay over for the night.

Prying Rose's hand off of you, you slide down the chair and walk over to the bedroom door. Surprisingly, you don't find the boys in there. In fact, you don't find them anywhere in the whole apartment. Nevertheless, a loud howl soon emerges from the woods nearby, giving away their whereabouts.

You run up to the terrace to have a look and certainly, there they are, the two males in their supernatural forms running about and chasing each other. They are pretend-hunting, and clearly, the are having fun.

The fact that Taehyung is getting along well with Jimin makes you happy. You feel content that despite being a shy and reserved person, he found a friend in Jimin, with whom he can share his interests and have fun.

"You like him, don't you" Rose startles you from behind, making you generate a tiny yelp.

"What?" you ask while grabbing your chest, gradually calming down from the shock.

"I said you like Taehyung" she folds her hands against her chest giving out a 'know it all' look.

"What are you talking about?" you smile awkwardly, trying to hide your flustered cheeks, but you fail miserably.

"Don't lie to me. I know you enough to understand when you are crushing hard on someone. Plus, I'm a wolf, I can clearly smell your arousal"

"The fuck, Rose!!"

You spare her an annoyed eye roll and walk away. She is very right about your feelings but you are not yet ready to confront them. If Taehyung were a human, you would have narrated fantasies about him to your best friend already but he is a vampire and you don't know if anything between you two is even possible. You simply don't want to get your hopes up.

Rose seems to understand that pretty well for she refrains from pressing onto the topic further.

A minute or so passes before the boys barge into the apartment, each carrying a dead animal over his shoulder. The stench of blood and death immediately fills the place and you cover your nose in disgust. The other three remains unfazed.

"We brought breakfast" Jimin announces making Rose shriek with excitement, and you in aversion.

"What?" you gasp in disbelief but no one pays any heed to that.

Instead, they throw the bloody bodies on the dining table. Then they sit around it in chairs, and start devouring the raw meat while Taehyung reverts to drinking just the blood. Your eyes widen at that and you flee to the corner of the room, covering you nose firmly with your shirt. Needless to say, your appetite escapes through the window for the day.

When you peek back, however, you see Taehyung looking directly at you. You ask him what's wrong with a curious head nod and as a response, he simply points to the door. Glancing towards where he is pointing, you see a bag resting by the doorway. You go, pick it up and look inside, only to find a burger, some chicken wings and a diet coke inside. No doubt your appetite returns, and mouthing Taehyung a silent but a very hearty thank you, you happily skip to the bedroom to have your breakfast in peace.

While all that unfolds, the two Park siblings land each other knowing glances, both well aware of the budding romance.

It only takes the carnivores a few minutes to empty the table leaving nothing but some chewed bones and blood splotches. Once done, they readily clean the mess up granting you some relief.

"So, what now?"

Asks Rose. It's been like thirty minutes since you all ate and currently, you are all kind of just silently hanging around on the roof, enjoying the sun and the gentle breeze.

"Now we come up with a plan to protect Y/N from Namjoon and everybody out there who might pose as a threat" comes Jimin's straight forward response.

Hearing him say that affects you and your smile vanishes. You know that you are the weakest member in the group right now and you don't like it one bit. But the constant reminder is making things worse. They only want to help you and you know that, but them being supernatural creatures stunts their knowledge about your human feelings. No matter how many times you hear those things, they still hurt the same. But instead of confronting anyone, you just suck it up and bury your sorrow deep beneath the surface. You don't want to cause more trouble. 

"How about we take turns and stay with her?"

"And on the sidelines, we can contact her witch parents and see if they can come up with a spell or a magical solution to get rid of her curing blood, or at least lessen its smell"

"Yes, that way tracking her would become difficult"

"Exactly"

"Then it's settled"

"Yep"

You silently listen as Jimin and Rose complete the whole conversation on their own. They are so involved in the topic that they didn't even notice that you never chipped in and neither did Taehyung. The latter, like you, was deep in thought this entire time. It isn't till the last 'yep' that he asserts his approval of Jimin and Rose's propositions.

When the same is wanted from you, you plainly nod.

After a few more rounds of chat, the guests leave, leaving Taehyung in charge of your safety for the time being, until one of the werewolves take over. However, the moment the Park get out of sight and the door is closed behind, Taehyung turns to you with a very serious face.

"Are you ready?" he speaks abruptly catching you off guard.

"Ready for what?" you look at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"For your training" he says.

"What?"

"I know what they said hurt you. I saw your face. You don't want to be weak. you don't like to be safeguarded like that. So let me make you strong, strong enough to defend yourself against Namjoon or any other villain. Being a human does not make you weak. After all, you have that one thing we vampires don't"

"And what is that?"

"A life, and a future to live for..."
