Junko: Somewhere, not too far off from the middle of nowhere, a giant pig lives. On top of that pig is a bar named the Boar Hat, owned by a small boy who's infamous for his booze and terrible cooking.
Monika: Just don't piss him off, because, in reality, he's the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins... the Dragons Sin of Wrath, Meliodas. His happy-go-lucky facade belies his troubled past as the firstborn son of the Demon King who betrayed his own race, including his younger brother Zeldris, for the sake of his lover, the Goddess Elizabeth. He was cursed with immortality by the Demon King for his betrayal while Elizabeth was cursed with perpetual reincarnation by the Supreme Deity, and Meliodas has continually loved and lost her many times over the last 3000 years.
Junko: Still, he's really shown his power over all those years!

Junko: This guy's strong enough to slice an entire mountain in half with a twig and survive getting attacked by Diane, another of the Seven Deadly Sins who is a Giant, while they are under the effect of a hypnosis spell that makes them see each other as enemies! He can even pick her up despite her being bigger than Boar Hat and the giant pig it was on top of!
Monika: He's fast enough to catch Gilthunders Spear and throw it back at him despite being seven miles away. His casual roughhousing and arm-wrestling with Ban, another one of his Seven Deadly Sins comrades, was enough to completely destroy Baste Prison as well as a barrier spell said to be able to endure the attacks of ten Tyrant Dragons. He's been crushed, impaled, frozen solid, electrocuted, and had his arms torn off, yet can still keep on fighting
Junko: Yeah, Meliodas is on a whole other level above the rest!

Junko: Meliodas has shown himself to be an extremely skilled fighter and strategist with over 3,000 years of experience. He is capable of learning and improving techniques at an accelerated rate and has shown especially skilled swordplay, with a number of versatile techniques that he routinely uses in battle.
Monika: He can sense others, use telepathy, extract and absorb souls, and much more. While he often uses magic at greater range if the opponent is dangerous, he prefers to use his sword for combat. Starting with his Dragon Handle.
Junko: Yeah, Monika... that's a broken sword.
Monika: True but it's actually a key to the Coffin of Darkness. With it, he can create a Dragon-like illusion that only his opponent can see. This weapon itself, though, is currently stolen.
Junko: He also has Liz's sword!
Junko: A regular sword by every definition of the word. It was given to him by his late lover, Liz. The sheath can be used as a blunt weapon but the sword itself is currently broken.
Monika: And that's why he has his Sacred Treasure, Lostvayne.
Monika: Worth 50 gold pieces, this blade has a special ability to let Meliodas create up to four clones of himself, all of which have the half the amount of power he normally has.
Junko: In other words, his first clone will have 50% of the original. The second will have 50% of the third clone, and so on. Not that it matters anyway since all of them, including Meliodas himself, can use Full Counter!
Monika: This ability sponges all the damage Meliodas would take from an attack and sends it into whatever sword or twig he may be using to attack with, and makes the attack several times stronger. Meliodas has shown to be able to reflect several attacks at once, provided they are all coming directly to him. For simultaneous, spaced-out attacks, Meliodas can take advantage of Lostvayne's clone ability to counter them all at once.
Junko: He has other versions of this as well, like the Counter Vanish. Rather than reflecting an attack, Meliodas can disperse it, nullifying it with the palm of his hand.
Monika: And there's the Revenge Counter. Meliodas turns off all of his abilities and takes in as much damage as he can take before dying, and causes a giant explosion that goes back to the original attacker. However, this ability only has a 99.8% chance of killing both Meliodas and his attacker, so it can only be used as a last resort.
Junko: Of course, if Meliodas wanted to, he could even tap into his Assault Mode.
Junko: Meliodas is a high-level demon and can access his demonic biology to give himself a boost in physical ability and various other advantages. Meliodas can activate and deactivate his demon mark at will. At night, his magic power increases.
Monika: Still, his Assult Mode simply refers to Meliodas returning to the full extent of his power as when he led the Ten Commandments in the past. It is not a "transformation" in the usual sense of the word. His total power level in this form is 142,000. Meliodas exudes a miasma that causes weaker beings to feel sick, even ones as powerful as Post-Training King.
Junko: As part of his demon biology, Meliodas can generate solid darkness from his body which he can manipulate and shape as well as project outward from himself. He can use this black matter for a variety of offensive, defensive, and supplementary purposes. One of Meliodas' favored attacks is to create large pillars of darkness energy.
Monika: He can use this darkness to fly, increase his durability, create weapons, seal people away for a very long time, and even heal himself.
Junko: Demons can use the dark substance to pull their bodies back together, mend burn injuries, etc. But they can't come back if their heart's destroyed and damage stays with the demon despite the wound being healed. Good thing demon blood allows them to heal even from their heads being chopped off!
Monika: This also allows Meliodas to use moves like Hellblaze.
Monika: Meliodas can generate the black purgatory fire of the Demon Clan, capable of nullifying the regeneration of "immortals" like Ban. Hellblaze can be coated on Meliodas' body or weapon through Enchant: Hellblaze to enhance his strikes. He can also create fireballs in his hands that explode into large infernos and release large blasts from his sword. The black fire cannot be put out normally and was able to burn down the Fairy King's Forest despite the Forest being immune to natural fire.
Junko: And he's got the Divine Slayer!
Junko: One of Meliodas' more powerful techniques that requires him to heighten his senses and power to their limit. He coats his sword in black flames and unleashes a large slash of fire at his target!
Monika: Still not as impressive as the Divine 1,000 Slices.
Monika: A derivative technique of Divine Slayer. Meliodas releases an aura of purgatory fire around his entire body and charges his opponent, quickly slicing them repeatedly.
Junko: And what's better than a thousand you may ask? Try a trillion with Trillion Dark!
Junko: Where Meliodas launches a barrage of small spheres of highly concentrated darkness at the opponent! Oh, he also has another attack called Dark Prominence, where he infuses his sword with Darkness and delivers power slashes, but we can't find a picture of it.
Monika: But he's at his strongest when in his True Magic transformation.
Monika: After returning to his Assault Mode, Meliodas absorbed five of the ten Commandments into himself in order to gain power in the same realm as the Demon King. Probably even beyond that. It should be noted that each Commandment has a different effect. For example, with Pacifism, Anyone who kills in Meliodas' presence will have their remaining lifetime stolen from them, aging rapidly to death.
Junko: With Piety, anyone who turns their back on Meliodas to flee will be treated as though they committed an act of "treachery" against him, forcing them into obedience to the Demon King and by extension Meliodas himself.
Monika: And with Selfishness, with feelings of greed or selfishness lose their memories, emotions, and sense of self.
Junko: We don't really know what the Patience or Repose ones can do, but that hardly matters when you can fire an energy blast that can erase your foes from existence! He even got rid of that annoying immortality curse!
Monika: But just because he's powerful doesn't mean he's unbeatable.
Monika: Like any demon, Meliodas is weak to holy magic as it breaks down Darkness particles. But since he's a High-Level demon, it would only give him minor injuries. He also lost the capacity for rational thought when succumbed to Wrath.
Junko: Especially in his Assault Mode, which removes all of his emotions and reverts him back to his original demonic self. Oh yeah, and he really doesn't like his True Magic form. He even erased all Ten Commandments and the Demon King just to get rid of them! Permanently getting rid of his transformation in the process.
Monika: And now he's living the life with his wife and his son, Tristan.
Junko: So don't you ever underestimate this little brat or you may end up pissing off the Dragon sin of Wrath!
Meliodas: Just like you said... Regardless of what kind of era comes next... We will never stop fighting... Not us... Not those that shall inherit our will.
