Monika: Ghouls...known in Arabian Mythology as hideous monsters who take the appearance of humans and eat human flesh. To a normal human, they're nothing but monsters of pure evil.

Junko: But unless it's the Goddess of Despair, there is no such thing as pure evil. Our sweet little Ken Kenaki will learn this firsthand.

Monika: Right, there's no use trying to work around it. Kenaki's childhood... sucks... but it wasn't always like that. His life used to be a lot more normal. Sure his father passed away but he still had a kind and caring mother.

Junko: A little too kind. Her kindness led to weakness which in turn allowed her sister to take advantage of her. This girl asked for money so much, his mom needed to work extra jobs just to make ends meet. 

Monika: It was slowly starting to get stressful for his mom...  to the point that she would take all her anger and frustration out on her son and beat him till he begged for forgiveness. It was so bad that he instinctively blocked out any bad memories of his mother so that he could keep viewing her as a kind and innocent woman.

Junko; And things only got worse after his mother passed away from stress. This would lead to Kenaki moving in with his aunt, who absolutely hated him, looking down on him and belittling him for being so much better than her own son. 

Monika; He didn't make many friends at home either, making him have a pretty lonely life as a child... that is until he met another boy named Hyde, and the two became best friends despite Hyde's more energetic nature. The two would eventually hang out up till college, and he would fall for a girl named Rize due to her beauty and the fact they both have a love for books.

Junko: Ah yes, young love. When I fell for my boyfriend, we shared an interest in-

Monika: Let me guess... despair?

Junko: What? No. Sandcastles. Duh. 

Monika: Right... well after the two would talk Kenaki would soon walk Rize home... only to discover she wasn't attracted to him but rather wanted to eat him... because she's a ghoul. But in her attempt to try to eat him, a bunch of steel beams conveniently fell on top of them, crushing them both.

Junko: And then they died. The end... well not really.

Monika: Kenaki was sent straight to the hospital, the doctors transplanted Rize's organs into him and turned him into a one-eyed ghoul.

Junko: Talk about a messy breakup. When I broke up with my boyfriend I strangled him to death and stomped on the body while crying tears of despair...

Monika: ... Oh... um... 

Junko: Still, as a Ghoul he became wicked strong! Sure he can no longer eat regular food, but who cares?!

Monika: As a Ghoul, he's granted superhuman speed and strength, easily capable of moving faster than the eye can see or shredding the human body to shreds. He's blocked blows from foes three times his size and is comparable to Ghouls that can break through brick walls, tear through steel, and flip cars.

Junko: Oh yeah, as a Ghoul he also has a body tougher than steel, so good luck tryin' to get a good stab in kiddo. Blades will only bend or break and bullets are easily dodged or blocked.

Monika: He can rip apart a lamp post or break down multiple floors of the 11th ward building. Similarly powerful ghouls have even withstood flames of up to 4,000 degrees.

Junko: And every Ghoul has their Kagune.

Monika: Think of a Kagune as a ghoul's own claws. It's flexible like the flow of water, but firm and sturdy. When released, a ghoul's physique is strengthened, they are more resilient, and their mobility heightens. A Kagune is composed of Rc cells, which flow just like blood, can become as solid as teeth, and can be described as "liquid muscles."

Junko: Kenaki has a Rinkaku type of Kagune, which normally takes the form of giant tentacles. Kenaki can summon 4 to 8 of them capable of throwing massive pillars and tearing through the bodies of other ghouls. With this and his training in hand-to-hand combat given by other ghouls, Kenaki at least knew how to take care of himself... but why did his hair turn white?

Monika: Well...

Monika: Originally, Kenaki was an innocent and naive human. When he turned into a Ghoul, he did freak out a lot but still maintained some of his innocence. He only lost it after Jason kidnapped him and proceeded to... um... torture him.

Junko: Oh I remember now! Jason tied him to a chair and messed him up both physically and mentally for ten days straight! And Jason could be as creative as he wants because everything he damages would heal almost instantly! Oooh, the sounds of sounds of pure agony and despair~! Only the best would know the joy in that!

Monika: ... ... ... There is something wrong with you...

Junko: I believe the nail in the coffin was after he had a centipede put in his ear and dig its way through his brain. After that, his hair turned white, he could no longer feel pain, and he broke free of his restraints, tearing Jason apart and eating him! 

Monika: He didn't just stop there. Once he broke free, he ate a bunch of other people, both humans and ghouls alike. This cannibalism would have some... interesting effects on his body. Now his Kagune can grow mouths and eyes. Not only that, but he also obtained a Kakuja.

Monika: Well, more like half Kakuja. We'll get to the big one later. 

Junko: In this form, he has two extra Kagune that he can morth however he likes. They take the form of centipede because it was a centipede that made him go mad in the first place. But just because he's turned crazy doesn't mean he's dumb. He can analyze the fighting style of others and either copy it or use it against them. And his psycho state calmed down a bit after he was stabbed in the head and lost all his memories.

Monika: His name would be changed to Haise and he would join the CCG, an organization built to take out other ghouls. While there, he was given the Yukimura 1/3.

Monika: The Yukimura 1/3 is a Koukaku-type Quinque with a long, tapered blade similar to a sword. As its name suggests, it's actually a set of three individual swords, though most owners have only used one. Keneki included.

Junko: Luckily he was trained to use a sword by Quinx, the same guy who stabbed him in the head and took his memories in the first place. But don't worry, he got them back and killed him before upgrading to the Black Reaper! A name that sounds so badass I could say it twice! Monika: Even his Kakuja got an upgrade.

Monika: Now he can cover it across his entire body as a sort of armor. And he can create massive claws and arms. He can also create traps to distract anyone he's up against. In this form he's at his most ruthless, normally resorting to only one tail for unpredictability and to murder her victim as brutally as possible. He can even bind weapons with flesh and turn his legs into blades.

Junko: And then it evolved even further than that after he found new meaning in life and got laid.

Junko: Holy fuck! That is not the face of someone who just got laid. That's the face of someone who just had kids.

Monika: Junko, stop that.

 Junko: In this form, he stops fighting to kill and simply fights to survive. He takes his ability to observe his opponent's fighting style and takes full advantage of it and he can even turn his entire arm into a blade!

Monika: But when he really loses himself, he turns into a Dragon.

Junko: Is that a giant centipede?

Monika: Oh my bad, that's just one of its mouths.

Junko: What the hell?!

Monika: There's the dragon part. Or at least it's head. This kaiju is so strong it can destroy all of Tokyo and is so big that most of its body resides underground! And it will continue to grow the more it feasts.

Junko: And to make it worse, it can create ghouls from its flesh that eat other humans and shapeshift to different shapes and sizes. Kill these ghouls and it will create a gas that will turn humans into ghouls as well.

Monika: Even removing Kenaki from this monster won't stop its rampage. It will continue to grow, eat, and destroy everything around it. The only way to stop it is by killing Rize at the core of the beast.

Junko: And Kenaki did just that with his final transformation!

Junko: In this badass form, Keneki has become way stronger and faster! He can fly and his Kagune takes the form of seven blades that he can shapeshift at will! By doing so, he can use just about any Kagune out there. And he can even take a part of his Kagune to make a sword. Hell, he's even used a forcefield in this form!

Monika: And he can sense the whereabouts. This is definitely a form stronger than all the others. But that doesn't mean he's unbeatable. 

Junko: Kenaki isn't exactly the most sane person to ever live. Especially not with all the shit they've gone through. His healing factor does have a limit to how much it can take. I mean, severe damage to the brain alone. And his harder-than-steel body can still be damaged by things that are... well... harder than steel. Sucks that he still can't eat a burger anymore.

Monika: Still, he accomplished his goal. He made a world where humans and ghouls can coexist. And he's going to make sure to protect both humans and ghouls alike.

Junko: And he gets to see his kids with his hot wife, Touka!

Monika: This bio was already hard to make as is Junko... don't add on to it....

Kenaki: You're wrong. It's not the world that's messed up; it's those of us in it. Yes, some ghouls walk a path that leaves sorrow in their wake, but just like humans, we can choose a different path altogether. We have a lot to learn, both your kind and mine. We need to stop fighting, and start talking. Because when it comes to the state of the world, you can't point your finger at ghouls or humans. We're all to blame.
