Junko: Dreams are really important and are really helpful for the body... but you can't have a dream without a little nightmare.

Monika: Freddy Krueger, the Nightmare on Elm Street.

Junko: And Princess Luna, Equestria's Princess of the Night!

Monika: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death battle!

In the room of a young pony, they opened their eyes to see the full moon shining through their window. A cold breeze sent chills down their spine as they heard the sound of children echoing through the room.

One, two, Freddy's coming for you.

Three, four, better lock your door.

The pony ran out of bed and out of their room.

Five, six, grab a crucifix.

Seven, eight, never stay up late.

The door closed and looked behind the pony as they turned around and started to slowly back away realizing they were now in a boiling room. They start to back away not seeing the wall behind them slowly creeping out.

Nine, ten, never sleep again.

The pony turned around as Freddy was right behind them and was about to strike, but before he could, a blast of magical energy struck him and he was sent flying through the wall he came from.

Freddy: Gah! Tch!

He looks up to see Princess Luna defending the little Pony.

Luna: Halt right there Dream Demon. I do not know where you came from, but you will not harm anypony else under my watch!

Freddy: I that so? We'll just see about that bitch.

Luna went for another blast that incinerated Freddy's body, but she could still hear his laughter haunting the nightmare.

Freddy: Hahahahaha! Is that the best you've got princess?

Arms start to stretch out of the ground, wrapping around her body and grabbing her legs as they sink her into the ground. She holds her breath and sinks under before falling into her castle. She stands up and looks around.

Luna: Your mind tricks will not work on me!

Freddy: Really now? We'll just see about that.

The statues in the castle came to life and immediately charged at Luna, who created a shockwave that caused them to crumble. Freddy then went to swing his claws from above but Luna turned into dark clouds that Freddy's attacks phased straight through.

Freddy: Tch.

She reformed behind him as the dark clouds floated above him, unleashing a giant burst of thunder to shock him.

Freddy: GAAAAAHAHAHAHA!

Luna: What?!

Luna's eyes widened in shock as she realized he wasn't phased.

Freddy: Sorry, I don't believe in fairy tales. 

He shot a massive fireball and Luna blocked it with a magical barrier. She was then thrown straight through Celestia's throne, causing it to crumble before being slammed into the ceiling and out of the window. Luna caught herself before spinning around the castle, causing a heavy snowstorm that froze the palace in ice. Freddy was laughing again as the entire palace burst into flames and a giant Freddy emerged through the fire, grabbing the princess. 

Freddy: He aims, he shoots, he scores!

The giant Freddy threw Luna at another giant Freddy, who swung a baseball bat and sent her flying into the moon hard enough to make a crater. Luna got up and her eyes glowed in anger. She started to push the moon down towards him. Freddy looked up to see the Moon coming down.

Freddy: Uh oh.

It blew up in his face, destroying him and the town around him. Luna landed as there was fire everywhere. 

Luna: I have already faced my fears. This nightmare is mine to command!

Freddy: Ah, but it's not your nightmare now, is it?

Luna suddenly realized what he meant. She turned around and saw the pony from earlier running in fear. As the pony ran, a tidal wave of blood emerged from afar. Luna quickly used her magic to push the pony out of the way before she, herself, was engulfed in an ocean of blood. Before she could swim out, the blood hardened as she was stuck. Freddy then stood above her, holding the pony in his hands.

Freddy: This is prime time bitch, and don't you forget it. Now, as for you...

He slowly sank his claws into the young pony, but before he could finish the pony off, a magical blast knocked the pony out of his hands. He looks up to see multiple Luna clones flying at him.

Freddy: Why won't you die?!

Spikes begin to burst out of the ground, stabbing each clone. One of them managed to get in close but was stabbed much more brutally than the others. He turned around as the young pony was running away.

Freddy: And where do you think you're going?!

He stretched his arm out to grab the pony, but a massive burst of magic unleashed from the ground, incinerating his arm.

Freddy: Gah! Some of a-

Luna emerged from the ground, her eyes glowing with anger once more. She charged at Freddy and sent him flying through a door. Once he landed he looked around as he was in a more darker version of Celestia's palace.

Freddy: Geh? What the hell is this?

A cloud of smoke started to surround him.

Luna: This is the dream of the one who will torment you for all of eternity. This is the dream of Nightmare Moon!

Freddy put on his demonic gloves and unleashed a wave of fire around him. The clouds disappeared but Luna was still standing as she had become Nightmare Moon. Freddy summoned two sawblades and threw them at her, but she flew around and dodged them.

Nightmare Moon: Die!

She fired a powerful blast that sent him crashing into the castle wall. She then landed and went to kick him in the face, but he dodged just as quickly as she caused the wall to shatter. He teleported above her and swung his claw and she quickly blocked with a magical barrier. He kept on slashing at the barrier trying to cut through it.

Nightmare Moon: It's pointless!

Claws suddenly emerged inside the barrier, forcing her to teleport out of it before she could get stabbed. The two charged at each other, firing magical attacks powerful enough to wake Luna up as Freddy was sent to the real world. He smiles and pulls out the Necronomicon, merging with it as he begins to turn Equestria into a living nightmare.

Freddy: Now do you see? This is GOD!

Luna: No, Dream Demon... 

She summons the Elements of Harmony.

Luna: This is!

She then unleashed a magical blast at him. He summoned a barrier to block it, but that crumbled immediately his magical powers were immediately sealed off.

Freddy: What? No... no... NOOOOO!!!!

He was vaporized by the blast, creating a massive hole in the ceiling of Luna's room. She sat down relieved and looked at the Full Moon.

Luna: ... It's over...

Junko: Damn, talk about a nightmare!

Monika: Both these combatants were incredibly powerful in the Dream World with one advantage over the other.

Junko: Yeah, Freddy was definitely a tricky bastard for someone like Luna. Unlike Luna, he was nigh-unkillable in there and was immune to nearly anything she could throw at him. But the same couldn't be said for outside of the Dream World.

Monika: Yeah, Freddy was completely powerless outside of the Dream World, and while he still had the Necronomicon, putting it up against someone like Luna would have been meaningless.

Junko: Right. Since her ability to control the Dream World is equal to, if not greater than his own, she had plenty of options to bring him into the real world. Even if he wasn't in her dreams, she could easily bring him to a different dream whenever she wanted. 

Monika: And reminder, the Necronomicon takes away his Dream World abilities. It's also something Luna has no issue purifying with her own magic or with the Elements of Harmony, artifacts built specifically to handle things like the Necronomicon.

Junko: After that, Luna had plenty of ways of taking him out for good.

Monika: Freddy was certainly a dangerous foe, but Luna's vast amount of experience and magical power gave her the edge needed for her victory.

Junko: Hold up, just now noticing we had two magical beings win with connections to the moon. What a Nightmare. Well, I guess on these streets, even a little pony can spread her own demons!

Monika: The winner is Princess Luna
