Kokonoe: I've seen my fair share of Servants in the past, all coming in different shapes and sizes. But whether it's Iron Tager or Valkenhayne R. Hellsing... none of them compares to the chief maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion...  Sakuya Izayoi.

Junko: You see Tager as a servant?

Kokonoe: Quiet. Anyway, everything from her age to her history has been left unanswered and left many of the residents of Gensokyo to theorize. Was she a trained Vampire Hunter? Is she really a human? Is she related to a goddess? All is unknown but there's one thing that's for sure. She's highly loyal to her mistress... Remilia Scarlet.

Junko: To the point that it might be romantic? Who knows. She is a lolicon after all.

Kokonoe: Sakuya values Remilia and the Scarlet Devil Mansion above all else, and will not hesitate to face an enemy should she consider them a threat.

Junko: And trust me, you better hope you're not that threat!

Kokonoe: Sakuya is an expert fighter, capable of going toe-to-toe with the best of the best.

Junko: This includes Marisa, Remilia, Yukari, and Reimu! You know... the chick who can float out of reality itself? Yeah, those two fought on multiple occasions.

Kokonoe: More importantly, they're both capable of taking on Suika Ibuki who can casually toss around Black Holes and even shattered Heaven, with a claim that she can do it with her eyes closed and one hand tied behind her back. As they're spiritually equal dimensions, Heaven should be infinite, as Hell has been confirmed to be of that size.

Ann: They can also take on Toyosatomimi no Miko who created Senkai, an infinitely expanding world. Miko is even capable of absorbing Kaguya Houraisan's Infinite Corridor, which is made of infinite pieces of space-time.

Junko: We're gonna be saying infinite a lot now are we? Well either way, while weaker characters can survive getting crushed by boulders, smashed by a radio tower, hit by a giant exploding hammer followed by a big foot, struck by lightning, getting ran over by an exploding train, or even getting struck by buzzsaws, Sakuya can survive getting launched on a rocket into an ocean on the moon... yeah... because that's a thing.

Ann: Sakuya managed to beat opponents like Flandre, who can destroy literally anything! Flandre is the same girl who destroyed a whole meteor just by looking at it!

Kokonoe: She should also be comparable to Utsuho, whose powers are literally based around nuclear fusion. Nuclear Fusion can result in energy close to 300 Petawatt. One Petawatt is the equivalent of 860,420,650 Tons of TNT, placing Utsuho's casual firepower at around 258 Gigatons of TNT. She's also stronger than Patchouli, who created a thunderstorm and small suns.

Junko: But her speed is even more impressive! She can move so fast that she can perceive time as frozen, or even dodge beams of light from Marisa and Yukari. 

Kokonoe: She can also scale to people who can fly across interstellar distances in Legacy Lunatic Kingdom... putting her at about 1,262,325,980x faster than light.

Ann: But that's enough about her speed and strength and all that. Let's talk about her weapons and equipment... starting with her Eternal Clock!

Junko: A nifty little pocket watch that augments Sakuya's time-freezing powers in an unknown way. While she doesn't necessarily need it, that doesn't mean it's completely useless as she can throw it at an opponent and temporarily trap them in her personal space, freezing them in time. This works even on foes who are immune to time manipulation or have control over time itself. But it only works for a short time.

Ann: She also has her trusty knives!

Kokonoe: Sakuya's arsenal is mainly composed of her collection of silver knives. She is an expert at using these knives both close range and from afar, preferring to wield them as throwing weapons. They're likely composed of silver in order to slay vampires, which has been theorized to be the reason she came to the Scarlet Devil Mansion.

Ann: And she has many variations of knives for different uses. She has Grip Knives, Bouncing Knives, and so... so many knives that home in on her opponent...

Junko: She can manipulate these knives at will, change their projection, and so much more.

Kokonoe: She's not limited to knives either. She has a lightsaber and sword that home in on her opponents if they get too close, as well as chainsaws and a Shield Dagger. She has potions that temporarily make her invincible and even a mop for cleaning the blood of her victims... or keeping the mansion clean, whichever you prefer.

Ann: She can fly, teleport, create energy barriers, release an energy pulse, and most importantly... fire Donmaku!

Ann: Also known as bullet hell, every character in Touhou possesses the ability to throw out hundreds of differently colored "bullets" to overwhelm their foes. Sakuya is no different, as possesses some of the best Danmaku in the series due to her straight, almost unavoidable patterns and her sometimes using her knives as substitutes for bullets.

Kokonoe: She prefers to fire them through two or four orbs beside her, but she doesn't need them as she can easily fire them everywhere as if they were machine gun fire. 

Junko: Even without them it can get pretty difficult to think how the fuck these guys can dodge this type of stiff! 

Kokonoe: But her greatest ability is her complete control over time and space.

Kokonoe: With merely a thought, Sakuya can instantly freeze time around her at will. Sakuya, as well as her knives and Danmaku, are capable of moving through this stopped time, but anything and everyone else will be stuck until she calls off the effect.

Ann: Too bad the Spell Card Rules limit her powers to only 15 minutes.

Junko: Well that's the funny thing actually. The Spell Card Rules are a set of rules that prevent others from using their full power in a fight. This causes a problem since this is a Death Battle, but at the same time not everyone really follows these rules, meaning outside of gameplay mechanics, she's technically able to keep time frozen however long she wants.

Kokonoe: Right, but like all Touhou characters there is a reason why those rules were set in place, as Sakuya's ability to manipulate time is... overpowered.

Junko: Yeah, Sakuya saw that simply stopping time wasn't enough for her so she went ahead and learned a lot more with her time abilities. For example, she can accelerate time.

Kokonoe: In other words, Sakuya can target specific objects and accelerate them through space-time in order to change their appearances. For example,  she's capable of causing Bamboo flowers to bloom instantly, even though it normally takes over 60 years for them to do so.

Junko: It's implied that she does it often since they're apparently Remilia's favorite.

Kokonoe: Besides this feat, Sakuya has also turned Apple Juice into Apple Cider, Fresh Vine into Vintage, and is capable of using this ability to cause objects to move at the speed of light. Very useful for a knife thrower.

Junko: Yeah, but what about Time Deceleration?!

Kokonoe: In addition to speeding objects up, Sakuya can also slow them to a halt. She most commonly uses this technique to slow down her thrown knives to make them trickier to avoid and surprise foes.

Junko: She's even used it on herself, letting her live for hundreds of years! That's why she claims to be a teenager despite clearly not being one. Even Remilia notes how weird it is to call this chick human with how old she is. 

Ann: That's not all though. She can even compress time! Wait how does that work?

Kokonoe: It means she's able to cause specific points in time to coexist simultaneously. For instance, she can use this to refill her arsenal by summing knives she's thrown in the past, or bring the weather of the future into the present.

Junko: Impressive, but not as overpowered as her ability to erase time!

Kokonoe: Right... though it's much more likely that Sakuya is targeting specific points in space-time and erasing every trace of that singular point, creating a null void of nothingness in its place. With this, she can do things like erase projectiles from the past and future or undo any injury done to her in the past... which she can do casually...

Junko: My only question is, how the hell does she make a clone of herself?

Kokonoe: This is a Time Paradox.

Ann: A what now?

Kokonoe: Well first, let me make it clear that Sakuya doesn't just have the ability to manipulate time, but she can also manipulate space as the two are synonymous with each other. She can also bend all aspects of space to her will, narrowing or lengthening it as she wants. By manipulating Space-Time, she can create parallel universes to some degree of extent, allowing her to make another Sakuya in front of her, which will execute a different action than the original, thus creating a time paradox.

Ann: ... Uhh...

Junko: I think we broke Ann...

Kokonoe: It's fine. She can also bend space to do other things though, like swapping places with her opponents.

Junko: She also has other badass abilities too! Like her Imaginary Vertical Time!

Junko: Sakuya stops time and throws out knives. The trails the knives leave behind lag, physically materializing more knives. 

Kokonoe: In real life, Imaginary time is a mathematical representation of time which appears in some approaches to special relativity and quantum mechanics. In physical cosmology, imaginary time may be incorporated into certain models of the universe which are solutions to the equations of general relativity. The Big Bang, for example, appears as a singularity in ordinary time but, when modeled with imaginary time, the singularity can be removed and the Big Bang functions like any other point in four-dimensional spacetime.

Junko: In other words, this attack is really fast. 

Kokonoe: She has moves like the Tunnel Effect.

Kokonoe: Where she manifests past and future thrown knives in reverse time.

Junko: Or the Phantomic Killer in Night Mist!

Junko: She throws knives at absolutely blinding speeds towards her foe like a stabby machine gun! It also destroys enemy projectiles!

Kokonoe: Speaking of which, she has two moves known as the Perfect Maid.

Kokonoe: One of which she sends out a bunch of Bullets the shape of a flower, and another where she stops time just before her opponent hits her, she then teleports behind her opponent and knives them. This one is clearly her favorite.

Junko: And that's just a small portion of what she can do! But she has her flaws, as small as they may be.

Junko: Despite all her power, she's not unbeatable. In fact, she's still a mid-tier opponent compared to everyone else, which is surprising considering how absolutely broken she is.

Kokonoe: And while she may or may not have the ability to reverse time, it's meaningless as the ability to reverse time will not store something to what it previously was. 

Junko: In addition to all this, she's also a lolicon who suffers from soooo many pad jokes it's not even funny.

Kokonoe: Still, it should be known that just because the Scarlet Devil Mansion has very few guards, doesn't mean it's not well guarded as they have a very powerful maid capable of cleaning any mess...

Junko: By the way, I think Ann's still broken.
