Kokonoe: Nintendo has had many different villains and anti-heroes in the past. There are a ton of princesses within the Nintendo Universe as well. But there can only be one king.

Junko: Like Bowser, the Koopa King!

Ann: King Dedede, Kirby's Royal Nemesis!

Junko: Ganondorf, the Demon King of Darkness!

Ann: And King K.Rool, the gluttonous crocodile!

Kokonoe: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

In Bowser's own airship, the Koopa King sat on his throne as two Goombas brought a Super Star to him.

Bowser: Finally... with this... the Mushroom Kingdom will be mine!

Just before he could celebrate, King K. Rool suddenly burst through the door.

Bowser: What the?! What are you doing here?!

K. Rool: Isn't it obvious? I came to steal the Super Star... but first I'll leave you with a nasty scar.

Dedede: Hold up!

King Dedede suddenly appeared between them as he had come out from being invisible.

Dedede: I came here to steal that thing first! I'll be taking both of you on for it!

Ganondorf: Ahahahahahaha!

As Dedede pointed his hammer, a burst of shadows surrounded the star as Ganondorf appeared, crushing the Super Star in his hands.

Ganondorf: How foolish. It seems the only things standing in my way are three lowly animals.

Bowser: Grrr... all of you... GET OUT!

Bowser then angrily unleashed a huge burst of flames.

The burst of flames created a huge explosion that knocked everyone out of the ship. They all landed on top of the ship and looked up to see Bowser emerging from the flames. King K. Rool put on his boxing gloves and dashed at him. They both went for their own punches and clashed.

Ganondorf: Hmph. How futile.

Ganondorf crossed his arms as Dedede swung his hammer at him. Ganondorf teleported behind him and pulled out his sword.

Ganondorf: You don't want this fight.

Dedede: I'm pretty sure I do!

The two of them swung their weapons and clashed as well, creating a shockwave around them. Ganondorf went to grab him but Dedede quickly jumped back before unleashing several balls of energy at him. Ganondorf reflected them, causing them t go everywhere. Bowser and K. Rool saw them as Bowser locked them with his shell but K.Rool immediately got hit and knocked off the ship. Luckily he was using his backpack to fly back up.

K.Rool: Haha! You're not getting rid of me that easily! Now stand still while I kill you mercilessly!

He pulled out his Klaptrap and tired an alligator out of it. Dedede swung his hammer but the alligator chomped through it, destroying it easily.

Dedede: Huh?!

He looked up to see K. Rool laughing and pointing at him before turning invisible and reappearing behind him holding his Blunderbuss and firing a giant spiked ball. King Dedede pulled out another hammer and with one swing, knocked the spiked ball back into Blunderbuss, causing it to blow up in King K. Rool's face. Dedede then inhaled and sucked K.Rool into his mouth before spitting him out at Ganondorf, who casually swatted him off the airship. As he fell, K. Rool pulled out a Crystal Banana before diving into the ocean beneath them.

Ganondorf: Pathetic.

Ganondorf aimed a ball of darkness at Dedede, but Bowser went to claw at him from behind. Ganondorf stopped his attack and blocked Bowser's strike with one arm without turning around.

Ganondorf: You really are an annoying one.

Bowser: I don't know why... but you piss me off the most!

Ganondorf swung his sword but Bowser swung his claws and knocked it out of his hand. Bowser then went for a charged punch as Ganondorf went for a punch full of darkness and they both clashed, creating a massive shockwave around them. Ganondorf unleashed a wave of darkness that knocked Bowser back, then fired several balls of light that Bowser quickly blocked with his shell. He then fired a giant spike at Ganondorf before unleashing a giant burst of electricity from the sky. Ganondorf blocked both the spike and the lightning using a barrier around him. 

Dedede: You guys better not be forgetting about me!

As the two fought, Dedede summoned 63 clones of himself as well as a bunch of his minions all to attack Ganondorf, pushing him straight into a wall. Bowser then summon Broggy, who was incredibly dirty.

Bowser: Dammit, not again!

Broggy: Woof Woof!

He immediately started cleaning the block dog as Ganondorf unleashed a huge gust of wind to knock back the minions. Focusing his spirit, Ganondorf summoned the Swords of Demise and swung them at Dedede, who quickly dodged them as Ganondorf unleashed a giant burst of lightning from the sky. The lightning combined with Dedede's hammer and became the Zap Hammer as he unleashed a burst of electricity at him that Ganondorf immediately blocked with his swords before unleashing a huge burst of energy that sent Dedede flying off the airship. Luckily Dedede started lying around himself as Ganondorf looked up at him with annoyance on his face.

Broggy: Woof!

He looked to see Broggy running at him with a bunch of block kittens and knocking him right back into the wall behind him. Bowser crossed his arms with a smile before a bomb landed in front of him. It blew up and knocked Bowser back. He recovered quickly and looked up to see Dedede dropping bombs on him. He spat fireballs and blew those bombs up as Dedede flew down and went for another swing of his hammer. Bowser ducked and blocked the hammer with his shell before standing up and punching Dedede in the face, knocking him back.

Dedede: Gah! That- hm?

Suddenly, the clouds grew stormy. Ganondorf recovered as the three of them looked into the sky to see a giant King K. Rool emerge from the waters.

K. Rool: I told you didn't I? It will take a thousand years before you can make me say goodbye!

A ton of meteors fell from the sky hitting the airship and damaging it.

Bowser: My ship! GRRRR!!!

Bowser growled angrily as K.Rool threw his crown. Bowser jumped off the ship and punched the crown into the water while propelling himself at K.Rool. Before he could strike, K.Rool swatted him away. Luckily Bowser's own Koopa Clown Car caught him and hovered in the air as Bowser stood up with a smile. King K. Rool unleashed a huge burst of flames and Bowser breathed flames of his own as the two o them clashed. The Clown Car then fired three Bullet Bills at K. Rool, knocking him back before a laser came out the mouth of the car and blasted his head off.

Bowser: Hahaha! That's right! This is what happens when you defy the awesome power of the Koopa King!

King Dedede's jaws dropped as Bowser lew around the airship. Ganondorf then stood up and unleashed a giant fireball that knocked Dedede away. He recovered and turned to face Ganondorf, hiring electricity out of his hammer once more. Ganondorf teleported behind him to dodge it as he kicked him into the air before teleporting above him and smashing him back onto the ship. As Dedede struggled to get up, Ganondorf grabbed him by the neck and held him over the edge of the ship.

Ganondorf: Did you really think you could win? You're nothing more than a penguin! 

He unleashed a huge burst o dark energy into Dedede's body, watching as Dedede's eyes rolled to the back of his head. He then dropped him and watched as he fell into the ocean.  Bowser then flew behind Ganondorf and fired two Bullet Bills at Ganondorf and caused two massive explosions, but Ganondorf stood there unphased.

Bowser: Not a fan? Then try this on for size!

He went down and pulled out a giant Steelie and threw it at him. Ganondorf unleashed a laming punch that knocked the Steelie back, hitting the Clown Car and sending it crashing onto the airship as Bowser crawled out of it. Ganondorf approached him with a smile when Bowser suddenly pulled out the minimizer and blasted him with it but with no effect.

Ganondorf: Is that all?

Bowser: GRAAAH!

Bowser breathed bursts of fire and sent Ganondorf flying back. Once Ganondorf caught his footing, Bowser dashed at him and punched him in the gut. He grabbed Ganondorf by the neck, lifted him up, then slammed him to the ground before breathing a burst of flames at Ganondorf's head. Just before Bowser was about to punch his face in one last time, a gigantic King Dedede burst out of the ocean wearing a mask and a new hammer before smashing it down over the entire airship, crushing both Bowser and Ganondorf. As Ganondorf's body floated in the water, the Triforce glowed as he grew in size turning into the giant warthog, Ganon. 

Ganon: Why won't you die?!

He summoned his trident and swung it as Dedede swung his hammer and they clashed, creating a shockwave that shook the ocean a bit. Dedede knocked Ganon back, who threw his trident. Dedede then swung his hammer and sent it flying. The Trident stopped mid-air and went right back at him, but Dedede swung his hammer harder and sent the trident into space. 

Dedede: Hahaha! Who's just a penguin now?! At least I'm not a pig!

Dedede swung his hammer as Ganon pulled out his swords and blocked it with them. As he did, five gigantic Bowsers surrounded the two of them as they pushed each other back.

Bowser: Alright... it's showtime!

The Bowser Clones dashed at them, swinging their claws. Dedede swung his hammer at one of them as Ganon stabbed two in the chest and breathed fire at the last two. The real Bowser breathed fire of his own as the two clashed. Dedede hit Ganon in the head with the hammer as Bowser punched him in the face. Then Dedede smacked him in the face with the hammer as Bowser smashed his head down. He used his claws to stab Ganon through the neck and rip it off as the last clone went after Dedede. He went to punch him but Dedede quickly smashed his hammer through the clone's body. Bowser was about to breathe fire but a rocket came out the back of Dedede's hammer, making his last swing a lot quicker as it went into Bowser's mouth. He gripped the hammer and sent Bowser falling into the water.

Dedede: Burn this!

The other side of the hammer opened up and fired a barrage of missiles into Bowser's mouth, creating a gigantic explosion that completely blew Bowser's head up. Dedede was breathing heavily before holding his fist up in victory.

Junko: Wow, talk about the upset of the century!

Kokonoe: The bout was pretty even between Bowser and Dedede, to the point that either one of them could have won this battle royal.

Junko: Yeah, when it came to gadgets, King K. Rool had them beat, but he couldn't keep up with these three even with scaling.

Ann: And Ganondorf pretty much out haxed everyone. With his superior intellect and the fact he was the second most experienced of the batch, he could probably take out everyone in here in a 1v1... but in a battle royal where two of the three combatants can easily overwhelm him with their own arsenal, he was bound to get taken down eventually. But since none o them had magic strong enough to touch the guy, the best thing to rely on was physical strength.

Junko: Luckily Bowser and Dedede had more than enough strength to pull it off.

Ann: And as far as Bowser and Dedede went, both of them had a ton of different things in their arsenal to give them the edge. They even had similar feats of strength and durability, but Dedede was much smarter than the Koopa King and had way more experience. Not only that, but he was much faster too. While Bowser could have possibly taken this on most occasions, more time than not, Dedede comes out on top.

Kokonoe: The winner is King Dedede.
