Kokonoe: All Might is a man who has inspired many to become great heroes like himself. But among all of the people he has inspired, very few have admired him on the level of one Izuku Midoriya, who would dedicate his life to becoming a hero just like All Might.

Junko: The issue is that All Might lived in a world filled with superpowers and this young boy was among the extremely rare few that have no powers whatsoever! Even Bakugo would mock him, giving him the name Deku which literally means a useless guy who can't do anything!

Kokonoe: This will all change one fateful day when he would meet his hero. When nobody else did, All Might gave Izuku a chance. He gave Midoriya his own quirk, All for One, and with that, the young Midoriya would go to UA and the name Deku would no longer be that of one who can't do anything. It would be the name of someone who doesn't give up. From then on the name Deku would be the name... of a hero.

Junko: And a tough one at that! Especially with that quirk, we mentioned earlier, One for All!

Kokonoe: A quirk given to him by All Might, it's what gives him his superhuman strength. He can destroy robots the size of buildings, create a water vortex with a lick of his finger, and even destroy Todoroki's giant ice structure.

Junko: He's also super fast!

Ann: He's easily capable of dodging bullets and explosions! Heck, some of his friends are fast enough to react to lightning!

Kokonoe: He's faster than Testutetsu, who can move in tandem with bullets. He can also keep up with Camie, who can move faster than the eye can see. He out sped the Hero Killer Stain, reacted to the movements of Gran Torino, and has proven to be among the fastest of his classmates. 

Junko: And then there's his durability.

Junko: He can keep fighting even with broken bones! He can take hits from Muscular Man who can shatter cliffs with his punches! He's also taken hits from Bakugo, Nine, Gentle Criminal, and Overhaul's fused form! 

Kokonoe: However, in order to maintain even a small percent of One for All, he needs a combat style which he calls, Full Cowl.

Kokone: A technique Deku uses to regulate his power output. For a moment he could only use All for One at 5% thanks to this, but after some training, he's now capable of using it at 30 to 45% of its full power and even 100 for a few minutes.

Junko: Yep, and he can use all this power and he's smart when using it!

Kokonoe: He's incredibly smart in a lot of ways actually. He has whole notes of other people's quirks and how to counter them. It's gotten to the point where he could come up with strategies for almost any situation on the fly.

Ann: Which was why he knew exactly what he wanted when he picked his outfit!

Kokonoe: Designed by Mai Hatsune, Deku's hero costume reduces damage taken by his arms. His gloves increase the strength of his Delaware smash and his shoes possess iron components that increase the power of his kicks.

Junko: Perfect for his fighting style that he made up himself... Shoot Style! A special fighting style that focuses on kicks and leg work instead of punches! But if he ever did wanna go for a punch, he could always go for a good Detroit Smash!

Junko: A powerful punch based on All Might's attack of the same name! The sheer air pressure caused by this attack pierced through several floors of a building! At 5% he can break through a whole rock monster and at 100%... well... we'll get to 100...

Ann: There's also the Delaware Smash!

Ann: Where Deku delivers a powerful flick that causes a large shockwave! At full power, Deku can use it up to eight times. It's strong enough to create a vortex in a large body of water or breakthrough Todoroki's largest ice structures, which can reach the size of a stadium! Hell, Todoroki's flames clashed with Debi's, which can cover an entire city block!

Kokonoe: Deku also has a stronger version of this attack which requires him to be at 20% to use.

Junko: There's also the Manchester Smash.

Junko: Another move that needs 20% of his power to work. It's a powerful ax kick that would have one-shot Overhaul if he didn't dodge it! It's probably stronger than the St. Louis Smash, which is a roundhouse kick to the face that requires only 8% of his power.

Ann: But he's at his strongest when he goes 100%.

Kokonoe: At 100% he can use the full power of One for All. His Detroit Smash is strong enough to partially destroy a cliff and he can even use the Texas Smash, the same move All Might used to change the weather.

Ann: He can also use the Wyoming Smash where he spikes his opponent in the head, creating a massive shockwave!

Kokonoe: Now before we get any further into Deku with One for All, we should point out that All for One is not the only quirk Deku possesses. Thanks to a few things here and there, Deku has managed to learn not only how to communicate with the previous users of One for All but also gained the ability to use their quirks.

Junko: Like the third user's quirk, Fa Jin.

Kokonoe: This quirk allows for Deku to build up and store kinetic energy as he moves. He can release this stored energy as an explosive burst of speed and power. He can use this to draw out 100% of One for All's speed without the drawbacks.

Ann: Then there's Blackwhip from the fifth.

Ann: This allows Deku to spawn black tendrils that can be used to bind enemies or swing around the battlefield. They can lift anything from large pipes to entire vehicles. 

Junko: With Danger Sense, he can sense danger coming like he was Spiderman. With Smokescreen, he can create smoke for camouflage. And with Float, he can fly. He got nothing from All Might since All Might didn't have a quirk when he got One for All. And he has one other Quirk but at the time o making this, we don't know what it is. Only that it has to be used as a last resort.

Ann: But his most powerful move is the 1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash!

Ann: It's not really 1,000,000%, of course. If that were the case, every bone in Deku's body would have been shattered. Instead, it's a fully powered punch that brings out One for All's full power even with Deku's own broken bones. It managed to take down Muscular Man who had tanked all of Deku's 100% attacks beforehand.

Junko: But Deku's still got a long way to go before he can become a pro.

Junko: One for All is an incredibly powerful Quirk, making Deku stronger and stronger over time. But he can't use 100% of it at times. Sure his suit allows him to use 100% but not for too long. Using it longer than a few minutes will cause his suit to break and his bones along with them.

Komaru: Also, there are flaws to his additional quirks. Danger Sense can cause a stabbing sensation in his head and it takes a toll on his body. He needs to keep his emotions in check when using Blackwhip to control it. If he's not careful when using Smokescreen, he could accidentally blind himself through the thick fog and it can backfire if his opponent gets the drop on him.

Ann: Still, even if his strategies may be a bit reckless, Deku will do whatever it takes to save the day and become the Number 1 hero.

Deku: I have to work harder than anyone else to make it! I'll never catch up otherwise...! I want to be like you...! Like you. The strongest hero.
