Junko: As a wise man once said... Humans... are the worst.

Kokonoe: And it's this logic that brings out the worst in guys who think they're the superior species.

Ann: Adam Taurus, leader of the White Fang in RWBY.

Junko: And Arlong, captain of the Arlong pirates in One Piece.

Kokonoe: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

In a town filled with Faunus, Arlong's crew had come over.

Arlong: Shahahaha! Everyone here! This pathetic town belongs to me!

All the Faunus looked at them and backed away in fear... until someone spoke up.

Adam: Hey!

Arlong went to see who it was and Adam approached with the White Fang behind him.

Adam: You better leave... now.

The Captian approached him and grabbed him by the shirt.

Arlong: And what's a little pipsqueak of a human going to do if I don't?

Adam shoved his hand away and gripped his blade.

Adam: Don't compare me to some human. I'm the Faunus who's gonna wipe them out!

Arlong reached into his shirt.

Arlong: You look more human to me.

Arlong pulled out a gun and started shooting at him, but Adam deflected the bullets with his scabbard and swung his sword, unleashing a wave of energy that knocked the gun out of Arlong's hand. He then went for another slash of his sword, but Arlong dodged it and swung his fist. Adam quickly jumped back to dodge it before shooting his gun at Arlong's chest. Arlong quickly dodged the bullets before charging at Adam, attempting to stab him with his nose. Adam quickly jumped to the side as Arlong flew into a building instead. He came out of the building with a smile on his face as he was completely unphased.

Arlong: Is that all you got? Do you really call that strength? All you do is run!

Adam: I'm not the one who runs.

Arlong: Then prove it!

Arlong lifted the building and threw it at Adam, who swung his sword and cut it in half. He dashed at Arlong as his blade shot out its scabbard and the butt of the blade hit Arlong in the face. Adam jumped up and grabbed his sword before going for a downward swing that Arlong dodged. Adam then fired his gun but Arlong dodged that too and went for a heavy punch. Adam jumped to the side, causing Arlong to hit the ground and make a small crater. Adam then kicked Arlong in the face, literally knocking his teeth out. A new set of teeth grew back in as Arlong took his fist out the ground. As he did, Adam swung his sword and slashed at Arlong's chest, causing the Fishman to stumble back. He had a pissed-off look on his face before picking up the set of teeth on the ground. He then ripped out the teeth from his mouth as a new set grew in. He now had teeth in both hands and dashed at Adam.

Arlong: You know the difference between you and me?!

Arlong started striking with the teeth in his hands and Adam jumped back to dodge them before bumping into a house behind him. Arlong went for another strike and Adam swung his sword, knocking the teeth out one of his hands. Arlong used his free hand to grab Adam and slam him into the house.

Arlong: I'm much stronger!

He tried to take a bite out of him, but Adam quickly kicked him in the face, causing him to stumble back.

Adam: You're nothing more than a mere fish!

He swung his blade and caused another wave that knocked the teeth out of his other hand. Arlong went for a punch and Adam blocked it with his sword. Arlong used his other hand and punched Adam through the building. As Adam stood up, his mask fell off... revealing his face. Arlong only looked at him and smiled more.

Arlong: That's a pretty ugly face you got there...

He pulled off a huge chunk of the ground and threw it.

Arlong: Let me fix it for ya!

Adam quickly jumped over it and dashed back at him, going for a swing. But Arlong pulled out his massive Kiribachi and went for a swing of his own. As they both swung their swords, Adam cut Arlong's blade in half and Arlong punched him in the gut with everything he's got. Adam was sent flying back before rolling on the floor. His aura began to flicker a bit.

Arlong: Shahahahaha! You're just as weak and fragile as any human! You may not be one yourself, but we Fishman are still the superior race! Face it kid... it's over!

Arlong lunged at him, spinning around with his jaws wide open and getting ready to take a bite out of him. As he did, Adam stood up and gripped his blade. Everything glowed red as he swung it, and not only did he slice Arlong in half... he turned both sides to ashes. As everything returned to its color, Adam put his sword back in its sheath.

Adam: Like I said... you're still just a fish.

Junko: Wow, a quick fight and an insult at the end! Adam was brutal!

Ann: Well, we both know the reason for the quick match is because of the Boss's condition and the fact both these guys didn't have that much in their arsenal. Still, it's a fight that was closer than it should have been.

Kokonoe: Being a Fishman, there was no doubt Arlong was twice as strong and more durable than Adam, who was faster and much smarter.

Junko: Yeah, both these guys have egos and massive anger issues, but Arlong's own ego is what caused his downfall. Don't get me wrong, he's incredibly strong. But his pride in his strength makes him a bit reckless, to the point that even his fighting style is a bit reckless and predictable.

Ann: And while Adam is reckless and has a bit of a temper too, it's not to the same degree as Arlong. In fact, Yang had a bigger temper than Adam, and that same temper caused her an arm. And that was while she still had her semblance!

Junko: So in the end, Arlong was strong. But Adam's speed, intellect, and... shorter temper got him the win.

Kokonoe: The winner is Adam Taurus.

-Arlong is the 7th One Piece character to be in a Death Battle and the third to lose a fight

-Adam is the 5th RWBY character to be in Death Battle and the second to win a fight

*Ironically, Blake was the first to ever win a Death Battle

-Both these combatants had other opponents, however, both their opponents had different suggestions for this season

-Originally, this fight wasn't going to happen but was done anyway simply because it was a short match
