I really didn't want to cover this episode, mainly cause I really didn't care for this finale, even after watching it

The few things I did like was the art style chosen for the animation

The analysis was alright, I only knew Popeye more cause my mom and me used to watch old ass cartoons, like Popeye and Beety Boop, etc when I was a very young child(favorite cartoon growing up was Tom & Jerry)

The dialog for Saitama seemed pretty in character

Only time the art style choice bothered me was when they switch to 3-D briefly and they showed Popeye as this big buff anime meme version of himself

And is that a death? Saitama turned into a bunch of eggs with the main egg being the only one not to fall and break?

As for a season finale, this one seems to be the most forgettable one in a sense it won't be talked about much in the future. Only other death battle like that is Hulk vs Broly since no one really talks about it, at least from what I see

Popeye wins like literally everyone knew he would

As for next season, I could not really make out anyone.

I maybe saw Scarlet Witch

Others are saying

Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer, Tetsuo from AKIRA, Vegeta, and another star wars character?

But for me, only two match ups I care about

Jason Voorhees vs Michael Myers for the Halloween episode and Galactus vs Unicron for the finale

Those better happen, if they don't they it will become a joke until they do, like how Thanos vs Darkseid was joked to death about never gonna happen until it did
