Both are light-hearted, dense, clumsy and hopeful protagonists that had terrible childhoods (Naruto became an orphan after parents died protecting him from the Nine-Tails' attack and was ostracized throughout most of his childhood because of his status as a Jinchuriki, whereas Kiana is a clone from the original Kiana named K-423 as part of an experiment by Otto Apocalypse in hopes of resurrecting Sirin, the Herrscher of the Void), but managed to overcome it with a bright and optimistic outlook on life

Both aim to be the best and achieve the highest status (Naruto wants to become the Hokage and Kiana wants to become an S-Rank Valkyrie)

Both would be part of a trio (Team 7 and Squad V respectively) that has an electric-themed member (Sasuke Uchiha and Raiden Mei respectively) who they also had their first kisses with. They were originally calm and collected people but would later become cold and distant that were about the antagonist faction (Akatsuki and World Serpent respectively) leading to a fight with the protagonists on a building rooftop due to the both not wanted they to leave their team to join the antagonist faction, both would eventually be defeated by their friends that left their group and joined the antagonist faction but eventually returned later to fight against a bigger threat (Madara Uchiha and Kevin respectively), who seeks to bring peace to the world but using the worse ways possible

Both would have red cladded mentors that they were important figures in their life (Jiraiya and Himeko Murata) that would have died fighting people close to them (Jiraiya fighting against his former student Pain and Himeko fighting against Sirin when she was controlling Kiana body), which left them mourning their deaths and eventually leading to both making a vow (Naruto vowing to find a path to peace for the world like Jiraiya wanted and Kiana to fight for all that's beautiful in the world and inspire others just like Himeko have done)

Both have entity within them since their birth (Nine-Tails/Kyuubi/Kurama and Sirin/Herrscher of the Void respectively) who were evil due to events in the past (Kurama being regarded as a monster and viewed as a tool would lead him to hate humanity and Sirin due to being a test subject, wanting to take revenge on those that test on her), that would be closely related to the dead or missing parents of the protagonists with their absence being closely linked to the circumstances surrounding their birth (Kurama killing both Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze, with Sirin being the cause of Cecilia's death and the reason why Siegfried left Kiana to protect her)

Both also have some connections to the moon (Hagoromo, Naruto's ancestor, created the moon alongside his brother Hamura and where Naruto fought Toneri Ootsutsuki who'd kidnapped Hinata and survived an attack that sliced it in half. Meanwhile Kiana is the Hawaiian word for Diana, the Goddess of the Moon and Kiana will stay on the moon for 10 years in order for Earth to heal itself while mastering her Finality powers)
