Connection:

Both are overpowered comic book speedsters

Both are far faster than their commonly known counterparts (Wally West surprisingly being faster than Barry Allen and Archie Sonic being faster than Game and Cartoon Sonic)

Both possess powers from an extra-dimensional source (Speed Fore to Wally and Chaos Force to Archei Sonic)

A/N: I know Wally from the Justice League cartoon as the Flash, Teen Titans and Young Justice as Kid Flash, but I never knew he's even faster than Barry Allen.
