Nakano: Iris was born on Ephedia as the daughter of the King and Queen of Ephedia, making her the rightful heir of the kingdom. However, when she was a baby, her home was attacked by the evil wizard Gramorr, where he took control and overthrew her parents as ruler.

Alisa: In order to protect her from Gramorr, the Queen sent Iris to Earth and tasked Ellira, posing as Aunt Ellen, in raising Iris. When Iris arrived on Earth, she was unaware of her true heritage or of her magical powers and grew up for most of her life, believing to be a regular girl.

Vanessa: Except strange things happen whenever she sings which has resulted in her getting fired from three jobs, the latest babysitting. Then one day Iris tried an audition where she met Auriana and Talia and exposed herself to using magic. When she ran away, she was attacked by the twins Praxina and Mephisto before being saved by the the former two, who turned out to be magical princesses.

Alisa: After escaping, Iris found out she was a princess of Ephedia and accepted her role. She, Auriana and Talia formed the girl band Lolirock.

She can purify evil magic with Crystal Solvenda, unleash a barrage of crystals with Crystal Collidum and even summon a giant crystal shield with Crystarmum or Crystal Ensis.

Alisa: She can also duplicate objects with Crystal Reflecto and use Crystal Exitus or Crystal Leos for long range attacks and separate things with Cristalapis Manatum. But don't think she's helpless once disarmed, for Iris also has knowledge in fencing and skilled with a sword.

Nakano: But wait, we're not done yet. For Iris has one more ace in her sleeve. When push comes to shove, the Ephedian princess can tap into her Shanila form. This forms boosts all of Iris' magical abilities up to eleven, fire powerful energy beams and even allows her to stop time. And with the Crown of Ephedia, combined with all 33 Oracle Gems attached, Iris becomes even stronger.

Popup: The Crown of Ephedia can only be worn by the Queen of Ephedia and Iris herself.

Vanessa: Wanna know something crazy though? In order to gain Shanila, the princesses would have to lose their hair as a rite of passage and Iris is actually the last one to do so.

Alisa: Iris has proved to be one of the strongest princesses in Lolirock. She's been able to perform complicated spells that takes years to master and managed to fend off Mephisto and Praxina on their first encounter. Upon tapping into Shanila the the first time, she split in a mountain in half.

Nakano: As Dark Iris, she was capable of overpowering Auriana and Talia with ease and funnily enough, she has been able to fend of their own evil counterparts. Since she's considered the strongest of the five, Iris should be comparable to them like Izira and her medallion, which is capable of annihilating mountains and stopping time.

Vanessa: And with the power of both Shanila and the Crown of Ephedia, as well as the other Princesses, they managed to overpower and kill Gramorr once and for all. And Gramorr, who was in possession of the Crown of Ephedia at the time, was able to cast a magic spell that lets him rule over Ephedia, an Earth-sized magical planet that harbors the realms of Xeris, Volta, Borealis and Calix.

Nakano: But even magical princess have their downsides. Like all magical girls, Iris needs her magical item to transform and while she can use magic in her civilian form, it's nowhere near as good compared in her transformed state. Not to mention her more powerful spells require help from other princesses.

Vanessa: And she can be susceptible to other magic. Take the time she had been turned to stone or even had a memory loss which the Mephisto and Praxina took advantage to turn her into Dark Iris. And in the same episode where she got Shanila, Iris' magic grew weak from hair loss, though it did grow back at the end.

Alisa: But even then, she went on overcoming her weaknesses to free her Kingdom from Gramorr and saved the day. At least, until Praxina became the new big bad in Season 3.

Alisa: In the beginning, there was nothing but darkness. Then, a dazzling light appeared and came forth the Great Dragon, a powerful cosmic entity. With it's fiery breath came the Dragon's Flame which in turn birth the Magic Dimension. With it the Great Dragon created countless worlds and spreading life and heat across the universe. Eventually it was exhausted and arrived in the realm of Domino to rest, entrusting the royal family to safeguard the Dragon Flame. Soon the second daughter of King Oritel and Queen Marion was born, Bloom.

Nakano: But everything changed when Domino was attacked by the Three Ancestral Witches, who ere tasked by their master Darkar to claim the power of the Dragon Flame so that he can use to to gain the Ultimate Power of Relix. Bloom's older sister Daphne sent her to Earth to protect both Bloom and the Dragon Flame from the evil witches. She landed in Gardenia where Mike found her unharmed by the fire consuming a house and adopted her as his own daughter.

Vanessa: Bloom lived a normal life until one day she encountered a blonde girl fairy named Stella, fighting off an Ogre named Knut. There she discovered she had magical powers and convinced by Stella to to to the Magic Dimension where she can trained her powers for good. Enrolling in Alfea, Bloom befriended three other fairies, Musa, Tecna and Flora and after fighting the three witches called the Trix, who are the descendants of the Ancestral Witches by the way, as well as exposing her secret, the five Fairy formed the Winx Club, with Aisha joining in Season 2.

Nakano: Like most fairies, she can transform, fly and use magic spells. Being a fire-themed fairy means Bloom has powers over all things fire. Capable of shooting fireballs, creating fiery shields or even create an energy construct shaped like a dragon. However, as the Guardian of the Dragon's Flame, she can harness many of its powers. Such as being able to negate and counter other magic, fire energy blasts, create portals, seal people or objects and change size. And that's just the tip of the the iceberg.

Vanessa: She can warp reality to her will, control and stop time, manipulate spatial and temporal dimensionality and create anything out of nothing. And any of her spells, when used to the fullest, can disintegrate most thing at the atomic level. Plus as the Dragon Flame's host, Bloom can mostly resist having her entire magic nullified or stolen and can even empower others with the Dragon Flame. But let's get to their bread and butter, Magix Winx! Simply known as Fairy Forms, these allow Bloom to transform into more powerful stages of a fairy, each form stronger than the last.

Popup: It is shown in Season 8 that even after obtaining a new transformation, the Winx are still capable of using older forms such as with Enchantix and Sirenix.

Alisa: Enchantix grants Bloom the ability to use Fairy Dust which can break any dark spell casted upon them. Believix is where Bloom can control emotions or feelings of a person and recquire's making people believe in magic in order to get stronger. Sirenix grants Bloom the ability to swim underwater and use her fire abilities there and in Season 8, has evolved into Crystal Sirenix to adapt to the cold and light even the most darkest places. Then we have, ugh, Bloomix, which allows Bloom better control over the Dragon Flame.

Vanessa: Seriously? Bloomix? I know Bloom is the main character but come on! Anyways, with Butterflix, Bloom has nature-themed powers which are shaped like, well, butterflies. But her current and most powerful form is Cosmix. Not only does this allow Bloom to travel into space but is capable of lighting dying stars and even close or destroy black holes!

Vanessa: Bloom is one of the strongest Fairies that Alfea has ever produced. She's defeated Icy one-on-one in the Season 1 finale, obliterated the Obsidian Dimension, and resisted having her powers stripped by the Legendarium due to her status as the keeper of the Dragon Flame. She managed to defeat the more experienced Nebula, a Major Fairy of War, despite the latter using cheap tricks to save Roxy's life, but also convinced her to rejoin the good side and used Believix Convergence to freeze three of the four Wizards of the Black Circle.

Alisa: With Enchantix, Bloom had defeated Valtor spiritually in Season 3 and has broken Tritannus' trident with Sirenix in Season 5. She and the other Winx used a Convergence to stabilize the Pillar of Balance which was causing the entire Magic Dimension to shake. And in the Secret of the Lost Kingdom and Magical Adventure movies, though the latter is arguable to be fully canon, she had defeated the 3 Ancestral Witches who turned Domino into a wasteland before restoring it to its former glory.

Popup: Bloom and the other Winx have also defeated the Trix numerous times them having their own equally powerful forms to match them with each season.

Vanessa: And some of these villains are no pushovers. Valtor was born from a corrupted spark of the Dragon Flame, meaning he has similar powers to Bloom and Bloom took hits from Tritannus, who was powered by the Emperor's Throne of the Infinite Ocean which is capable of threatening the entire Magic Dimension. Which isn't far-fetched considering the Dragon Flame is what created the Magic Dimension in the first place, a universal feat of power.

Alisa: Buuuut Bloom is far from invincible. While Bloom is capable of holding her own, being a magical girl series, she's more of a "power of friendship" kind of person and prefers to fight as a team. In the first season she had the Dragon Flame taken from her by Icy and had been corrupted by Darkar into Dark Bloom in the second season. Not to mention she had a habit of running away if she loses confidence or scared.

Vanessa: And each form has their downsides. Enchantix's magic is weak against the Wizards of the Black Circle, Believix becomes weak if people don't believe in magic and less powerful underwater. Staryummies aren't harmed by anything other than light-based magic and Bloomix SOMEHOW isn't that strong against Kalshara.

Nakano: And while the Dragon Flame can't be put out by normal means, the Water Stars are the only things capable putting it out permanently since they're on opposite sides. Made even worse by the fact Bloom gets exhausted if the Dragon Flame is depleted, though this is no longer an issue after she absorbed the Vortex of Flames.

Alisa: Yet, Bloom will always fight the good fight. No matter the obstacle, you can be assured Bloom will rise to the occasion and protect the Magic Dimension from the forces of evil.

Th stadium was filled with roars and cheers from the crowd as they were excited for the ultimate battle between the two remaining contestants. The terrain for this was a combination of buildings and forests, as well as a lake and volcano for extra. The Ringmaster's voice echoed through a loudspeaker.

Ringmaster: And now ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the fight you've been waiting for! A battle between two magical princesses born from another planet and sent to Earth!

Two girls are seen entering the arena, causing the crowd to cheer once more.

Ringmaster: On one corner, we have the Winx Club's Fairy of the Dragon Flame, Bloom!

Said fairy took a deep breath and wore a determined yet cheerful face, her red-orange flowing with the wind as she faced her adversary.

Bloom: I can do this. For Alfea and for the Winx.

And in the other corner, we have Lolirock's Princess of Ephedia!

Iris clutched the necklace in her hand and put in a smile as she makes eye contact.

Iris: It's time to show everyone what Lolirock is capable of.

Both girls then got into a pose and shouted their catchphrases.

Bloom: Bloom, Magix Winx!

Iris: Iris, Princess of Ephedia!

Their bodies glowed orange and pink respectively as they undergo their iconic transformations. Soon they both take flight and powered up with their fire and crystal magic at the ready.

Ringmaster: Let the battle begiiiiiiiiiiiiin!

Bloom: Fire Ball!

Iris: Crystal Collidum!

Bloom hurls fiery projectiles at Iris, who counterattacks with her crystals, creating an explosion of sparks and shards as they collide with one another. This stalemated lasted for 30 seconds but Bloom unleashes, a much bigger fireball at Iris.

Iris: Crystal Reflecto!

Only for it to be blocked and deflected back by the shield, but Bloom had anticipated this and teleports above the Princess of Ephedia and launches an intense fire beam. Iris gasps and summons another one but this pushes her down and into the ground. The shield held strong but noticeable cracks start to to appears.

Thinking quick, Iris summons energy tendrils and restrains Bloom. As the Fairy of the Dragon Flame struggles to escape, Iris summons her Scepter of Ephedia and holds her hand up which forms a magic circle.

Iris: Crystal Leos!

She attacks with her own energy beam that slams into Bloom and knocks her down into a building. As Bloom steps out of the hole she was put in, Iris doesn't give her the chance to recover fast and flies forward and tackles the fairy which caused them to burst out of the other side.

Bloom throws a leg sweep but Iris jumps over it and throws a gut punch that made Bloom double over in pain before she decks her in the face with a vicious right uppercut. Not done yet, Iris channels magic into her right hand.

Iris: Crystempactus!

She connects it to Bloom's chest and sends the screaming Fairy of the Dragon Flame over into several trees, knocking them down. Deciding Iris was too strong in her current form, Bloom recovers mid flight and undergoes a second transformation.

Bloom: Magix Winx, Believix!

She transforms into her Believix form and emits an fiery aura as she charges at the Princess of Ephedia who releases her own powerful aura and heads towards Bloom. Both slam their heads against each other before flying over the place, becoming red and pink blurs as they exchange blows each other. At one point both threw a punch into the other's cheek that knocks them back a dozen feet away.

Iris: Crystal Collidum!

Bloom: Fire Arrow!

Iris fires more crystals but Bloom retaliates with fiery arrows that renders them at a stalemate once again. However Bloom seizes the chance and teleports above Iris and charges another spell.

Bloom: Dragon Heart!

The Princess of Ephedia is bombarded by multicolored fireballs from above and sent plummeting down into the lake area. But she didn't went down by herself as she created a magic lasso that wraps around Bloom's waist and drags her down into the lake with a loud splash. Iris puts a hand over her mouth to prevent water from entering her lungs.

Iris: Crystal Aeris!

A crystal heart shaped mask appears so she can breathe. She then morphs her Scepter of Ephedia into a giant sword and searches for her opponent.....

Bloom: Fire of Sirenix!

..... but before she could react, Iris was hit by a powerful flame beam that sent her spiraling around the water. After regaining her senses, Iris turns to where it came from and was shocked to see Bloom using fire in her Sirenix form.

Iris: Wha- you can use fire underwater?!

Bloom: Surprised? There's plenty more where that came from! Dragon Punch!

Iris: Don't count me out just yet! Crystal Leos!

Bloom and Iris unleashed their respective fiery orange and crystal pink beams at each other, creating a beam struggle that neither magical princesses could overpower. Soon the collision ends in a stalemate that creates a powerful explosion and sends both of them up into the surface.

The Princess of Ephedia and Fairy of the Dragon Flame landed on the ground, groaning in pain. After an agonizing minute, both girls managed to stand on their wobbly legs. They were exhausted and battered, but also had smiles on their faces, unable to hide they were having the greatest fight of their life. Now it was time to unleash their full power, no going back.

Iris's hair began to curl upwards as it and her eyes glowed pink and crystals formed around her, awakening Shanila. Bloom's body glowed blue and orange as stars appear around her, transcending up to Cosmix. The crowd roared as the climax of the fight is nearing.

Both Earth-raised magic princesses grinned and flared their auras before zooming around the entire arena, launching fireballs and crystals all over the place, sending shockwaves that can be felt dozens of feet. Ripples of pink and fire of their attacks can be seen.

Iris swings her sword and fires a giant pink crescent energy blade at Bloom, who ducks at the last second, resulting in the remaining trees and buildings to be cut down instead. Iris punches Bloom with a more powerful Crystempactus, but when she attempts a second one, the Fairy of the Dragon Flame counters with a fiery shield and knocks the Iris back with Dragon Punch.

Staggering back, Iris tries another swing, but Bloom keeps teleporting and counterattacking all over the place forcing Iris to summon a shield. It started to crack but Iris sees an opening.

Iris: Crystal Exitus!

She summons a pillar of energy that hits Bloom and knocks her back, though she manages to recover. Bloom, exhausted but not entirely out, flies up high into the sky and even reaching outer space before she begins to gather an immense amount of energy that forms in the shape of a fiery red, chinese dragon.

Down below, Iris could sense Bloom preparing her strongest attack. But she could only smile as she too prepares her own ultimate attack. Floating a few feet from the ground, Iris began charging up magic into her sword. The Crown of Ephedia with all 33 Oracle gems appears on her head.

The Fairy of the Dragon Flame then lets out a final war cry as she flies down at lightspeeds with the intent on ramming Iris with all of her energy. Iris then points her sword at the sky in Bloom's direction and gave one final shout.

Iris: CRYSTAL LEOS!

The Princess of Ephedia screams as she fires her strongest energy beam from her sword. The attack connects and consumes Bloom and her fiery dragon construct, but the Fairy of the Dragon Flame is able to endure it and continues pushing through. As Bloom draws closer, Iris draws more power to make her attack bigger, but Bloom still powers through. Both princesses screamed as they gave it their all until Bloom collides with Iris and a huge explosion of red, orange, pink and white colors consumes them both.

The crowd leans towards the edge of their seats, unable to see through the thick smoke and wondered who won. As the smoke clears, everyone saw that Bloom, with cuts and bruises on her body and her clothes tattered, can be seen floating down with a dead Iris on her arms. 

Gently, she laid the deceased Princess of Ephedia on the ground and raised a hand as the crowd cheers for her.

Ringmaster: Here's your winner, Bloom!

KO!

* Bloom used the Dragon Flame to bring Iris back to life.

* Bloom and Iris smiled as they shook hands.

Randy: You know I'm all for bloody executions, but happy endings are just as satisfying.

Adam: Both Earth-raised princesses have shown incredible display of magic and an indomitable will that can overcome most obstacles. But in the end, the Fairy of the Dragon Flame had way more going for her.

Shadow: Iris didn't make this a cakewalk though, as she was physically stronger than Bloom. She's able to shatter and break out of Praxina and Mephisto's ice crystals with her bare fists, both morphed and unmorphed, when the same kind of ice has restrained Bloom before like with her battles with Icy. And while they are reliant on their teams for their more powerful spells, Iris is more level-headed whereas Bloom can be a bit more impulsive under pressure. And I think it's fair to say that it's no contest that Bloom would get demolished in either a fistfight or sword combat.

Adam: But when it came to versatility, the Dragon Flame grants Bloom a much wider of abilities than anything both the Scepter and Crown of Ephedia could for Iris. Bloom could absorb or counter any energy attacks, match Iris' time powers with her own or even outright nullify her magic overall. We know Iris is susceptible to other magic and Iris has never defended against reality warping and matter manipulation before.

Randy: As for transformations, it's no surprise Bloom has the edge there as well. Sure Shanila is definitely powerful, but many of Bloom's forms has their own purposes in combat. Enchantix would break any restraining spells Iris could place on her and Cosmix could outright destroy and seal black holes, something Iris has never done before.

Both: Both their purification spells only work on evil, but the Dragon Flame is capable of directly interfering with other people's magic and shutting them down.

Shadow: In contrast, Iris doesn't have any power negating magic of her own. Even if she did though, Bloom could resist having the Dragon Flame taken away from her like she did with the Legendarium.

Adam: But nothing could challenge the gap in power. At her strongest, Iris was capable of defeating Gramorr, who held Ephedia under a spell and Ephedia is a huge planet with several realms. And Bloom had went up against the likes of Valtor and Tritannus. The former who was created from a spark of the Dragon Flame and the other who is powered by the Emperor's Throne of the Infinite Ocean and capable of threatening the Magic Dimension.

Randy: But even if we say Bloom has never displayed something that big before, we can still use the Winx's Sirenix Convergence that stabilized the Pillar of Balance, which was causing the entire Magic Dimension to shake. Assuming Bloom gave her fair share of power into the attack, the energy output would wield about 442 kiloFOE, a Solar System busting attack. Dividing it by six still puts Bloom over 73.67 kiloFOE, way more than anything Iris could dish out.

Shadow: Iris was certainly one tough princess. But Bloom's greater number of transformations and wider array of powers via the Dragon Flame gave her what she needed to best the Princess of Ephedia.
