Indominus Rex VS Sharktopus: Indominus Hybrids
(Wiz and Boomstick - Official Death Battle Theme Song)
https://youtu.be/d9DySncgqiM
Adam: The Indominus Rex, InGen's terrifying tyrannosaur hybrid.
Shadow: And the Sharktopus, Symodyne's monstrous fusion of..... shark and..... octopus.
Randy: Don't you just love it when humans play God and try to create monsters to use them as weapons, only for them to become uncontrollable and accidentally let loose on the populace causing many deaths?
Shadow: Just to be clear, the Sharktopus we're analyzing is from the 2010, 2014 and 2015 Syfy movies. The 2023 version is different and considering it's pretty much a Kaiju, yeah, you get the idea.
Randy: He's Adam, that's Shadow and I'm Randy.
Adam: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win..... a DEATH BATTLE.
Indominus Rex is killing for sport on DEATH BATTLE
(Indominus Wrecks - Michael Giacchino)
https://youtu.be/3_UWHqvDa6s
Randy: Many years after John Hammond, the creator of Jurassic Park, died, his rich buddy Simon Masrani decided to follow in his footsteps and create his own world of prehistoric life to remind people just how small humanity truly was in a good humility-teaching way, not a tyrannical overlord kinda way, and to be frickin' awesome!
Adam: Using his wealth as the eighth richest man in the world, he created Jurassic World! He had the usual cool dinosaurs like Velociraptors and Triceratops, and especially their king, the T-Rex. However, he wanted something bigger, scarier, and "more teeth", something that would put even Spinosaurus and T- Rex to shame. Then, his buddy Professor Wu got a brilliant idea: to combine the power of T-Rex, the intelligence of a Raptor, and a shitload of other dinosaurs and animals to create a badass beast that would give parents and kids alike nightmares.
Shadow: And boy did it work! Hatching alongside an apparently very tasty sibling, the baby hybrid dinosaur would grow up to be feared by humans and dinosaurs alike. It's name? "Fierce Untamable King". Or, it's more preferred name, The Indominus Rex.
Adam: But as you may know by now, giving a creature any form of intelligence comes with deadly repercussions. Eventually, the Indominus tricked her creators into thinking she escaped when she was actually still inside and eventually broke out of it containment, set loose to terrorize the park. Guess that makes them John Hammond 3.0.
Indominus Rex
Stealth
Camouflage
Teeth & Claws
Thermal vision
Cross-species communication
Adjustable Body Temperature
Intelligence
Roar (140-160 DB's)
Sense of Smell
Opposable thumbs
While its genetic template is of a Tyrannosaurus, its DNA is made up of multiple creatures including Velociraptors, Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops, Giganotosaurus, Therizinosaurus, tropical frogs, cuttlefishs, and snakes
Adam: Indominus has multiple dinosaur and animal DNAs running through its blood. With the T-Rex DNA as her base, she has the same bite strength of the king, but magnified to a greater extent. She has long arms and claws with opposable thumbs via Therizinosaurus and the Giganotosaurus on is responsible for her immense size, stated to be 50 feet when fully grown and larger than Rexy.
Randy: You can thank the Raptor DNA for her intelligence and Deinosuchus DNA is the reason she has those crocodilian teeth. Oh and her eating her own sibling? Yeah, blame the Mujangasaurus DNA for that.
Shadow: The cuttlefish DNA grants Indominus camouflage and blend into her surroundings, the pit viper's provide thermal vision and the tree frog allows her to alter her temperature, preventing other thermal-based abilities from detecting her.
Feats
Survived a T-Rex Bite which was 6-7 tonnes of pressure and proceeded to overpower it
Convinced Blue and her sisters to turn on Owen and the rest of the InGen mercenaries
Survived the blast of an RPG-Round (It wasn't a direct hit, and she still fell to the ground)
Dispatched the APC, which were made up of highly trained soldiers meant to contain highly dangerous dinosaurs, with relative ease
Shrugged off shotgun blasts to the face multiple times
Claws pierced and even bit through the bullet proof glass of a gyrosphere
Survived being clawed by multiple Velociraptors
Smashes through glass, brick and steel
Scares away the hyper aggressive Pteranodons from their enclosures
Can throw 2-3 ton vehicles and flip a 4 ton dinosaur off the ground
Killed her sister
Killed raptors Echo and Delta
Nearly killed a T-Rex
Is smart enough to remove her own tracking device
Killed Apatosaurus, Ankylosaurus and other dinosaurs with relative ease (Shrugged off a hit by the clubbed tail of an Ankylosaur, which paleontologist theorize is powerful enough to smash the legs of a T-Rex)
Is an expert at confusing her victims
Took a beating from a T. Rex and Raptor that sent her into several buildings and even had a metal pole speared into her at one point and she got right back up ready to fight
Shadow: There's no doubt the Indominus Rex is one of the deadliest hybrids Henry Wu has created. Her teeth and claws can pierce through a Gyropshere that is demonstrated to withstand .50-caliber bullets, tanked an Ankylosaurus' bone shattering club to the face and still keep fighting and slaughtered an entire herd of Apatosaurus, which weighs between 36-76 tons.
Adam: She manipulated Claire into thinking she had escaped when she was just hiding in plain sight for Owen and two other men to come in and provide the opening she needed to escape. She also bested the ACU who're created to handle dangerous dinosaurs and had intentionally ran into the aviary when she was being gunned down by Masrani and the ACU in a chopper to let the pterosaurs bring them down.
Randy: She can tank multiple bites from Rexy as well as an indirect blast from an RPG and turned Owen's raptor squad against him thanks to her raptor DNA. Oh and she killed Echo and Delta when the surviving raptors defied her. Bitch!
Weaknesses
She's still just a dinosaur
Her dominance over the raptors didn't last long, as Owen regained their trust turning them against her
Didn't kill Owen despite having thermal vision, meaning being covered in oil to cover his scent would be redundant
Was ultimately killed by the Mosasaur
Her size can make her an easy target
A huge sadist and psychopath
Attacks anything, even something that would most likely kill her
Took months of prep time to escape and claw out her tracking device, even though she had plenty of opportunities
Although she can camouflages herself, she cannot hide her scent against other dinosaurs or opponents with a keen sense of smell
Randy: But Indominus is far from being the ultimate killing machine. Despite her intelligence, she doesn't think some things through. Like the time she took months to prepare her escape plan despite being able to camouflage and negate her temperature right off the bat. And she's still a dinosaur and can be hurt by conventional means.
Shadow: And her control over the raptors didn't last long as Owen had better experience earning their trust back and turning them against her albeit two of them killed later. And she was dragged to her death underwater by the Mosasaurus when her fight with Rexy and Blue broke the fence from the Lagoon.
Adam: Even with all of these faults, however, the Indominus Rex is still one of the deadliest animals ever to roam the Earth. She has well and truly earned the fearsome name of "The Untamable King".
Indominus: AAAARRRAAAAARRRGGHH!
Sharktopus is one twisted fish in DEATH BATTLE
(Sharktopus - Cheetah Whores)
https://youtu.be/0EMq3Zbp3qk
Adam: Sometime ago, the U.S Navy needed a new way to take out drug traffickers and terrorists dealing out in the middle of the oceans. They needed something that could effectively sneak up on their water-bound foes, quietly take them out in a badass way (not so much the badass part, but it happened anyway) and sneak off unseen.
Shadow: Then, a scientist by the name of Nathan Sands came up with a crazy yet surprisingly effective idea, which was to combine the prowess and efficiency of two of the world's most deadliest oceanic terrors: the shark and the octopus. Working in the Blue Water group, Nathan was successfully able to genetically modify a monster that combined the traits of the ancient carnivores and would terrorize the oceans far and wide.
Randy: The military named it S-11, but since that's too complicated and not awesome, this new creature got another name: Sharktopus! But if you watched a lot of sci-fi movies, you'll know something involving a hybrid can always go wrong!
Adam: During a demonstration, the device that kept Sharktopus under control got severely damaged and allowed it to escape into the free oceans. Normally, this wouldn't be so bad..... if it wasn't for the fact that it will kill anything it sees, so fishermen and beach-goers everywhere were under serious threat of becoming dinner.
Shartkopus
Possesses the DNA of the great white shark and octopus
Immense strength, speed and agility
Super durability
Bulletproof skin
Tentacles with sharp spikes
Suctions cups
Average human intelligence
Sharp teeth
Bite force akin to a shark
Able to smell blood (via great white shark DNA)
Electroreception (via great white shark DNA)
Able to regrow tentacles (via octopus DNA)
Can spray ink (via octopus DNA)
Can climb on walls or buildings
Can leap dozens of feet out of the water
Randy: If the name wasn't obvious enough, Sharktopus has the genes of an octopus and shark, a great white to be specific, and thus has both of their abilities. From the shark side, it has the ability to smell blood from a quarter mile away and navigate its way in with electroreception, the ability to detect electric fields. Oh and we can't forget the sharp teeth and bite force which are probably twice as strong than the normal great white shark.
Shadow: With the Octopus DNA, it has tentacles which can allow it to grab something with the suction cups providing better grip. The difference is that its tentacles are equipped with shark spikes for better piercing power. And should any of its tentacles be severed, it can grow them back like real octopuses do.
Adam: Sharktopus also gained intelligence on par with normal humans. And despite being composed to two animals mostly affiliated in the water, Sharktopus is shown to be able to walk on land without much difficult breathing.
Feats
Killed dozens of people throughout its entire trilogy movies
One of SyFY's most iconic monsters
Has a Twitter/X account (No, really)
Fought Pteracuda and Whalewolf
Tossed Pteracuda into a lighthouse
Travelled from California to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in less than a week (which is 2,400 km)
Kept up with Pteracuda who can fly at 200 mph
Unfazed by a tranquilizer harpoon
Potential immunity to diseases (Real sharks have been known to eat fishes carrying deadly diseases and suffer no long term damage)
Can keep up with motorboats which can travel 90 mph
Survived being dropped into the ocean by Pteracuda after being lifted hundreds of feet into the clouds
Shrugged off a point-blank explosion that was big enough to launch water several feet into the air and create a shockwave that extended out dozens of meters. This same blast also blew Pteracuda to bits, sending chunks of it flying dozens of meters out of the water from the sheer force of the explosion (The bomb's creator said that "nothing on Earth" could've survived the blast)
Shadow: Sharktopus has more than enough reason to be a feared monster. In addition to killing dozens of people across its trilogy movies, it can shrug off multiple explosions and bullets, survive on land for extend periods of time and has fought against equally powerful hybrids like the Pteracuda and Whalewolf.
Randy: It's capable of lifting the Whalewolf which, since its based on the Orca killer whale, weighs over 4 tons and has even managed to restrain the Pteracuda, a powerful flyer, in midair with only just two tentacles.
Adam: And speaking of which, Sharktopus even survived an explosion that killed the Pteracuda which was stated that "nothing on Earth would've survive the blast", yet it tanked the blast with no visible damage whatsoever.
Weaknesses
Any metal in the water can disrupt the Sharktopus' electroreception
Killed after Nicole pulls the kill switch on the chip implanted on it, causing its first death
Killed by Whalewolf after being tossed into a billboard and was electrocuted to death
Has the same weaknesses that regular sharks and octopuses have
Despite its intelligence, Sharktopus often reverts back a mindless killing machine
Slower and not as stealthy on land
Adam: But the Sharktopus is far from perfect. It's noticeably slower on land and even in water, it's not that hard to spot a shadow in the ocean with tentacles waving and a fin sticking out like a sore thumb. And given it has the inherent abilities of the shark and octopus, it's natural Sharkopus gains their weaknesses as well. Strong odors can disorient it and despite its human intelligence, it will regress back into a one track mind of just killing everything in sight once in a while.
Randy: Not to mention the electroreception the Sharktopus has can be used against it. Because metals radiate the same electric fields that most living things generate, it can be easy to trick the Sharktopus by, say, placing a metal ladder in the water or an iron suit with a bomb in it and cause it to confuse it for a living being and attack. And it was ultimately killed by the Whalewolf after it was tossed into a billboard, electrecuting it to death.
Shadow: Still, the Sharktopus isn't going down without a fight. With the combined blood and DNA of two carnivorous animals that have existed since before dinosaurs even existed, this hybrid is the last thing you wanna cross paths with.
Sharktopus: GRAARGH!!!
(^)(^)(^)(^)(^)(^)
Adam: All right, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.
Adam, Shadow and Randy: It's time..... For a DEATH BATTLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Isla Nublar
(Indominus Hybrids - Therewolf Media)
https://youtu.be/tCJXX7GX3ak
On Isla Nublar, the sounds of the ancient animals living their peaceful lives are abundant. A herd of Brachiosaurus are busy munching tree leaves as pterosaurs flew about and on them. Several Sarcosuchus are relaxing in the water and beaches surrounding the island alongside small fish and plesiosaurs on the sea bed in a reef.
Unfortunately, their peace would not last long.
The marine reptiles and fish suddenly spotted a huge shadow making its way through the water towards the island through the reef, and even though they did not recognize what this strange creature was, they instantly swam off towards safer waters and out of its way as it slowly lumbered through the underwater reefs.
Back on land, the peace was broken by a herd of terrified Parasaurolophus stampeding through the trees and into an enormous clearing near the beach, with other dinosaurs such as triceratops and diplodocus moving out of the way to avoid getting trampled. Glancing confusedly at the direction the Parasaurolophus had come from, they instantly trembled with fear as the menace appeared through the trees.
Walking calmly through the trees into the clearing upon seeing all the new prey, a giant theropod dinosaur clad in albino white scales and enormous claws made itself clear to the world. Baring her giant and enormous teeth, the Indominus Rex rears her head back and roars proudly.
Indominus: AAAARRRAAAAARRRGGHH!
The many dinosaurs that were still there immediately turned and ran towards the water's edge to try to escape this menace. The Indominus chased after them, fully intent on getting a meal. The first dinosaur to reach the water was a young triceratops, and at first thought that it was safe. It didn't notice the shadow moving towards it...
???: GRAARGH!!!
Suddenly, to the surprise of every dinosaur there, the young triceratops was lifted out of the water by several giant tentacles reaching from below. It attempted to struggle out of their grip, but was pulled under. Getting over her shock, the Indominus quickly lunged forward and sunk its teeth into a nearby Ankylosaurus and killed it instantly. The prey dinosaurs quickly realized how desperate of a situation they were in, trapped between two hungry carnivores. Splashing near the water was heard again.
They all looked back at the water, and found a terrifying sight: a giant shark head and upper body was wading through the waves on its giant octopus tentacles, its teeth red from its recent snack. It had tasted dinosaur flesh, and now it wanted more. The Indominus Rex looked on in confusion rather than terror, and was soon angered at this. This strange creature dare try to claim its territory!?
The prey dinosaurs quickly ran to the side to avoid the approaching creature. Now having fully left the water's edge, the strange creature was fully revealed as the Sharktopus. The fish-cephalopod hybrid looked around the beach, disappointed that all of the prey had vanished. Then, however, a new meal became known.
Suddenly sniffing the air, the creature looked ahead to find a brachiosaurus lying on the beach, its back legs broken from having ran away too fast and crying out in pain, looking in vain for someone to help it. Just as it was about to go over and eat, it heard a foot stomp. Looking further ahead, it saw a challenger approaching. The Indominus Rex had also seen the uninjured brachiosaurus and had grown tired of this weird predator trying to steal its spotlight.
She roars at the Sharktopus, letting it know that there was room for only one apex predator.
Indominus: AAAARRRAAAAARRRGGHH!
The Sharktopus, undeterred, lifted itself slightly and roared back, ready to try to take the island's mysterious reptilian food sources for itself.
Sharktopus: GRAARGH!!!
It had no idea what any of these strange giant reptiles were, but it knew that these reptiles tasted delicious. Walking slowly forward and stopping just twenty feet away from the monster, the Indominus got into a battle ready stance. The Brachiosaurus, off to the side, could only watch helplessly with a face of terror, as if it somehow was trying to decide who would be the one to devour it. The two apex predators faced each other, ready to find who would finally reach the top of the food chain once and for all.
FIGHT!
The two carnivores slowly circled each other, trying to find the right moment to strike. When they encircled each other once, they lunged at each other, teeth bared and claws flying. The Indominus grappled with the Sharktopus' tentacles, her teeth trying to sink into its fins. Eventually, the oceanic hybrid wrapped its tentacles around the Indominus' arms and flung it to the side, nearly toppling her over in the process. Balancing herself out, the reptile lunged forward and tried to grab its tentacle, only to get a bitch slap to the face instead.
Seeing its enemy dazed, the Sharktopus launched itself into the air and tries to bite her back. However, the I-Rex quickly spun around and tail slapped it to the side, sending the oversized fish sprawling on the sand. Before it could get up, the Indominus quickly ran over and stomped her clawed foot on its tentacle. Hard.
Sharktopus: GRAARGH!!!
Reeling in pain, the Sharktopus roared out its anger and pain. The I-Rex then reaches down and tried to bite its head and finish it. However, the fish-cephalopod hybrid quickly turned its head so that the Indominus ended up ramming its head on the spikes over its gills. Snout bleeding, The Indominus rears her head back in pain and frustration. Sharktopus took this time to wrap its tentacle around the leg that was on its foot and pulled it up, causing the Indominus to slip and fall on the sand as well. With its tentacle free, Sharktopus quickly got up and wrapped another tentacle around the Indominus' neck and another around her legs.
Feeling her air getting cut off, the Indominus struggled for breath as she was unable to get up. Waving her arms and claws around, the I-Rex felt the tentacle wrapped around her neck and slashed at it. Feeling its muscular tentacle get sliced, the Sharktopus quickly unwrapped its tentacle from its neck and roared out angrily. Due to focusing on the pain, its grip on the I-Rex's legs lessened and allowed her to escape.
Quickly getting up, the Indominus looked over and rushes at her foe. Still reeling over its injury, the Sharktopus could only roar and writhe as the Indominus wrapped her jaws around its shark fin, puncturing it deeply. Knowing that it had to free itself, Sharktopus quickly lifted its tentacle and stabbed it into the I-Rex's side. Letting go, the Indominus immediately let go and jumped away, flinching from the wound.
Slowly backing away, she turns and ran into the forest. After feeling the pain subside from its fin, Sharktopus saw the dinosaur run to the trees and quickly followed it. The Indominus ran through the trees until she was sure that the fish-cephalopod hybrid could no longer see her. Looking back, it heard Sharktopus crashing through the underbrush and camouflages. Sharktopus then appeared from the trees to where the Indominus had just been.
Just then, it heard a twig snapping near it. Sharktopus looked over, but there was nothing there. Whilst camouflaged, the Indominus hid her thermal signature just in case whilst slinking closer to the Sharktopus. Aside from the twig snapping she just did, she wasn't making any sound at all. Exhaling, she draws closer.
Twenty feet.
Fifteen feet.
Ten feet.
Strangely, Sharktopus was hardly moving from its spot in the center of the small clearing they were in. Its snout was pointed upwards, and its eyes closed. Paying it no heed, the Indominus drew closer still. She failed to notice the Sharktopus' eyes snapping open. Right when she was about to lunge, the only thing she saw was a cavern of teeth.
Sharktopus: GRAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!
Indonmonus: AAARRRRAAAGGHH!!
The Sharktopus had lunged straight for the Indominus when it had gotten close enough, despite the fact that it couldn't even see it nor hear it.
No matter how much the Indominus changed colors or her thermal signal, she had no way of masking her scent or electric field. Biting hard on the Indominus' arm, the theropod hybrid screeched as she felt her arm snap like a twig. Sharktopus didn't let up as it wrapped multiple tentacles around its foe and threw her back in the direction they had come from. Landing hard on the ground, the Indominus tried to get up as Sharktopus approached. The Sharktopus quickly lunged forward as the theropod got back up.
The two monsters collided against the other, glaring daggers into their savage, bloodthirsty eyes. The Indominus pushed as hard as she could with her velociraptor legs, digging deep into the ground. Eventually, the Sharktopus began pushing the theropod hybrid further and further back. Digging her heels and claws into the ground, the I-Rex tried to overpower her opponent, but the sea monster's tentacles were too much for it. Getting desperate, the theropod pushed herself away, nearly toppling over as a result. Regaining control of her balance, she turned back right as the Sharktopus launched several tentacles at it. Wrapping around its arms and body, the Indominus felt herself get pulled to the Sharktopus' left.
Unable to bite the tentacles or break free, she was getting pushed further and faster in a circle around her captor. She dug her heels into the ground, but was unable to overpower the sea monster's tentacles. Eventually, the Indominus felt itself raised off the ground. The Sharktopus was spinning it around wildly in a circle! Roaring loudly, the Indominus was helpless as the Sharktopus finally let go and tossed her away through the trees. Landing with a loud thud, it slowly raised her head as she realized she was back at the beach where the battle first started. Getting back up, she turned and barely dodged the Sharktopus lunging at the I-Rex again from the trees. Looking up, it saw that storm clouds were brewing. Turning back around, Sharktopus was taken by surprise as the I-Rex rushed forward roared directly in its face.
Indominus: AAAARRRAAAAARRRGGHH!!!
Due to its shark side's sensitive hearing, it was wildly disoriented by the loud noise. Seeing her chance, the Indominus rushed forward and rammed it to the ground. Still reeling, the fish-cephalopod hybrid was defenseless. The I-Rex started biting into its dorsal fin and face, as well as clawing at its pectoral fins. Getting up, the Indominus grabbed the pectoral fin in its mouth and lifted the Sharktopus into the air. It proceeded to then toss it 15 feet away down the beach, right near the water's edge. Not letting up, the I-Rex charged again and prepared to bite into it again. Unfortunately, the pain caused the Sharktopus to snap back to its senses, and rammed its head sideways directly into the theropod's shoulder and side.
Reeling back, the Sharktopus proceeded to launch a tentacle towards its attacker's face. Due to the spike, it not only clubbed but also badly raked the I-Rex's face. The Indominus leaps away and screeched in anger. Due to this, Sharktopus was able to get back up again. After checking their wounds, the two hybrid horrors turned towards each other, the injuries they sustained having only made them wish to kill the other even more. At this point, the storm had hit full force and was raining cats and dogs, along with lightning. However, the monsters hardly paid any mind. Slowly, they began to circle each other once more, the blood and DNA of their ancient forefathers coursing through them and pushing them on. The Indominus lunged first and tried to go for the sea monster's gills.
Unfortunately, the Sharktopus reacted and sent another tentacle out and slapped her to the side before she could reach her foe. Also reacting, the Indominus quickly spun around as it was being slapped away and smacked the Sharktopus with its spike covered tail, sending it reeling as well. Both were beyond pissed. The I-Rex proceeded to jump forward and headbutted the fish-cephalopod hybrid further near the beach. The Sharktopus shook its head to clear its head of any dizziness and prepared to attack. But then, it felt a crest of water touch its tentacles from the sea. Glancing back, it saw that it was right at the water's edge. The Indominus bared her teeth open once more and roared out, ready to end this.
Indonmonus: AAARRRRAAAGGHH!!
The Sharktopus, on the other hand, knew exactly what to do. Stamping her foot on the ground, the Indominus Rex roared out again, and began charging forward full speed, mouth wide open. Sharktopus merely growled and stayed put. As the Indominus neared ever closer, she failed to see the Sharktopus's tentacles lowering like a coiled spring. Right when she was about to make contact, Sharktopus abruptly jumped clear out of the way. Unable to react, the Indominus was unable to stop her momentum. As it jumped out of the way, Sharktopus swung its tentacles back and hit the Indominus as it sped past so that it only increased its momentum. This caused the theropod to lurch forward into the choppy waves..... and the inky abyss of the sea.
Indominus: AAARAAARG-!!
Clawing at the salt water around her, she quickly breached the surface and struggled for air as her desperately struggled against the currents. Her broken arm and other injuries she had sustained were only making it harder to keep her head out of the water. Turning back to find dry land again, the I-Rex saw the Sharktopus leap clear into the air and heading straight for it.
Sharktopus: GRAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!
Indominus: RAAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!
The Indominus roared out in terror as the Sharktopus landed directly on top of her, jaws wide open. The Indominus was forced back underwater by the sea monster's collision, while said monster bit down hard on the I-Rex's shoulder that held her broken arm. The Indominus literally saw red as her blood colored the sea around them. The Sharktopus let go, allowing the theropod to surface for air. She was only able to open her mouth and take in more air before she was pulled under by the Sharktopus's tentacles.
Sharktopus started dragging her far below the stormy surface before letting go and vanishing into the inky blackness. The Indominus tried to kick back up to the surface, only to see the Sharktopus appear from the darkness like a freight train from the side and chomped down hard on her tail and bit it completely off. The Indominus tried to roar and screech, but all that came out was a giant cloud of bubbles along with a cloud of red from what was left of her tail.
Indominus: BBBRRRRRAGGGHHH!!!
The Sharktopus proceeded to swim off again with the bitten off tail in its mouth, leaving the Indominus to struggle in the dark water. It managed to rise 60 more feet before the Sharktopus appeared again, wrapping a tentacle around her leg and biting down hard enough to break it. Leaving the Indominus with only two working limbs, it vanished again. Each time it reappeared, it rammed headfirst into the Indominus's body, jaws wide open, breaking bones and spilling blood each time. Eventually, the Indominus finally broke to the surface, gasping for fresh air and struggling desperately to stay afloat due to her lack of working limbs. She saw that land was literally only a few feet away in the form of a small cliff about 2 feet above the water's surface; a height it could easily climb. She desperately paddled towards it. She managed to barely scratch the surface of the embankment when she felt an explosion of pain in her rib cage.
Indominus: RAAAAGH!!!!
Sharktopus: GRAAAAGHH!!
The Sharktopus saw what she was doing and had clamped down on she from the side. It was not going to let an easy victim like that escape. It wrapped 5 tentacles around the theropod dinosaur and dragged the I-Rex back down and pulled her far away from land. Letting go near the surface of the water far away from any land, it dived deep down below.
The Sharktopus dived down until it was about 80 feet deep. Then it immediately turned around and charged straight upwards, intending to finish it. The Indominus looked down to see where her opponent was, and saw a dark shadow coming up to meet it. The Sharktopus quickly picked up speed and opened its cavernous maw literally right when the two monsters were only a foot apart.
Time slowed down.
All the Indominus saw was a large cave of teeth and death.
All the Sharktopus saw..... was food.
Then time resumed again.
Sharktopus: GGGRRAAAAAAAAAUUUUGGGHH!!!!!!
The Sharktopus roared as it tore straight through the bloody surface and clean out of the water, chomping down so hard that it bit the Indominus almost clean in two. It flew through the air before landing back into the water with a gigantic splash. After it landed, it seemed to relax, floating calmly before turning around back to Isla Nublar and swallowing the huge chunk of meat it had bitten off.
As it swam back to the island to claim its brachiosaurus prize, it hardly noticed the Indominus Rex head sinking below into the ancient, dark oceans.
KO!
* The Sharktopus returned to the now sunny beach and killed the still injured brachiosaurus and began to feast on it, all while the other dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures looked on, terrified of the apex predator.
* The Indominus' split corpses are being feed upon by Sarcosuchus and other marine predators.
Results
(Indominus Hybrids again)
Randy: Oof. 0-2. Better luck next time, girl.
Shadow: Determining the winner between these two hybrids was a bit difficult a first to due what they brought to the table and what they've accomplished. But as it turns out, the fish-cephalopod had the right tools to take down the Indominus. It's a lot so let's go over them one by one.
Adam: Surprisingly, both are similar in lifting strength. The Indominus Rex flipped a 4 ton Ankylosaurus on its back while the Sharktopus lifted a 4 ton Whalewolf. "But the Indominus slaughtered a herd of Apatosaurus which were heavier!", I hear you argue. Now yes, that part is true, but there's no evidence to suggest she's even capable of lifting sauropods, merely slashing and biting them to death as shown in the film.
Popup: In Camp Cretaceous Season 1 Episode 4 "Things Fall Apart", the Indominus brought a metal watchtower down. However, she took time doing so and is not capable of destroying it in one go.
Shadow: As for speed, it depends on the terrain. The Indominus is faster on land whereas the Sharktopus holds dominion over the water. Bite force, though, goes to the Indominus. The average bite force of a T-Rex is at 6-7 tons whereas the great white shark's is only about 2 tons.
Randy: But then the game changes when it comes to abilities and weaponry. At first glance, you may think the Indominus edges out in this category given how she has multiple DNAs in her genes compared to the Sharktopus only having 2 that being of shark and octopus. But believe it or not, the Sharktopus counters most of the Indominus' abilities.
Adam: The Sharktopus' sharp tentacles not only outnumber the Indominus' 2 long arms with sharp claws, but they also have the greater reach and can attack and defend at the same time. It can also smell blood from a quarter mile away which is way better than anything the Indominus can do. But the Sharktopus' most potent weapon is electroreception, which allows it to hone in on the Indominus' location via her electric field and keep track of her movements. That alone counters her camouflage and stealth and no amount of changing her heat signature can help either.
Popup: For reference, stingrays in real life constantly bury themselves in thick layers of sand to hide, yet sharks are still able to effortlessly detect their presence and hunt them down.
Shadow: Experience also goes to the Sharktopus. Sure Indominus has battled Rexy, Blue and an Ankylosaurus who put up a fight, but the Sharktopus has gone toe-to-toe with other hybrids like Pteracuda and Whalewolf, something the Indominus has never done before.
Randy: And I don't think you need us to say that the the Indominus is at a severe disadvantage if the fight takes place on water given how she canonically died to the Mosasaurus.
Adam: As for intelligence, it's a tougher call. Both have displayed intelligence on par with humans and raptors and have been known to solve problems and aim for weak points. But both do have faults. The Indominus has been shown to underestimate her prey at times and the Sharktopus somewhat has a habit of going to back to "kill everything on sight" mentality. So the safest bet it to call it an tie for both hybrids.
Popup: While the Indominus would be smart enough to aim for the tentacles, the Sharktopus would able regrow lost limbs thanks to the octopus DNA.
Shadow: But the biggest factor in the Sharktopus' favor is durability. Both could take bullets, shrugged off bites from other predators and have been thrown around by equally strong foes. But as impressive as the Indominus taking an Ankylosaurus club to the face and an indirect blast from an RPG was, the Sharktopus was blown up by a bomb whilst fighting the Pteracuda which was stated that "nothing on Earth" would withstand it yet it came out unscathed.
Adam: To paint a picture how big the explosion was, the Sharktopus and Pteracuda were fighting dozens of feet underwater when the bomb went off, the blast reaching the ocean's surface. The Pteracuda's head, which was bigger than a grown human male, was seen blasted out of the water. And finally, one of the guys who made the bomb decided to get the hell out of dodge from the vicinity despite the two fighting monsters being already underwater.
Popup: Note that the RPG didn't it the Indominus directly, yet the blast still knocked her down.
Randy: This would mean that the Sharktopus tanked a blast worth 8.38 tons of TNT. Even if we directly say the Indominus tanked the RPG outright, the force it would yield would still be less than the bomb that the Sharktopus took. Oh and the pit viper DNA which carries poison? Well, considering regular sharks can devour fish that carry diseases and be fine, that's not an option. And that's assuming the Indominus doesn't get overwhelmed before the venom takes it toll.
Shadow: Just comparing the purpose of their existence makes it clear: The Indominus was created for the sole intention of attracting visitors and investors, but the Sharktopus was designed to be a living weapon used by the military.
Adam: The Indominus Rex was no pushover. Her cunningness and wide array of abilities gave the Sharktopus the fight of its life. But S-11's strength, durability, and perfect counters ultimately prevailed.
Randy: Indominus thought she was the top dog, but it turns out she was all shark and no bite.
Adam: That was so fucking bad. The winner is the Sharktopus.
