Anne Boonchuy VS Luz Noceda: Calamity At The Door

(Wiz and Boomstick - Official Death Battle Theme Song)

https://youtu.be/I7w-_F_VgMY

Sara: Anne Boonchuy, The blue-themed Calamity Hero of Amphibia.

Vanessa: And Luz Noceda, the Human Witch apprentice from The Owl House.

Sara: These two normal girls had their lives changed when they've ended up in another world and have not only discovered new things but also saved said worlds in turmoil. But against each other, who will triumph?

Vanessa: For this battle, we're giving them all of their powers and arsenal that are previously non-standard. This means that Anne will receive all 3 Calamity Gems and Luz will receive her Titan form. She's Sara and I'm Vanessa.

Sara: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win..... a DEATH BATTLE.

Anne Boonchuy brings Calamity  to DEATH BATTLE

(Welcome to Amphibia - Celica Gray)

https://youtu.be/OuMysCU98dQ

Sara: Somewhere in the universe, a god named the Guardian got tired of keeping it in balance for so long, and thought it was wise to give unlimited power to mortals to find a replacement. And soon formed the Amphibian Empire, a race of talking frogs, toads, and newts, conquering worlds with the power of the Calamity Box. With such a stature to uphold, the new king, Andrias, had a lot of pressure on himself. Luckily, he had his friends, Barrel the toad, and Leif the frog.

Vanessa: They were the best of friends, until poor Leif got a premonition of Amphibia's destruction. She herself tried to reason with the kingdom, but to no avail. Andrias's father thought she was a traitor - I mean, not yet she isn't - but he assured his father she's just concerned for the safety of the civilization - which is also true.

Sara: In a desperate attempt, Leif steals the music box and sends it to Earth, the planet they were invading next. This betrayal turned Andrias into an unforgiven king who made sure the frogs are the poorest of the civilization and the toads making sure they stay in line. After a thousand years, the box finally returned thanks to 3 teenage girls, Marcy Wu, Sasha Waybright, and Anne Boonchuy.

Vanessa: Okay, who the hell stores magical artifacts hidden in a box that can change the universe in some shelf? Anyways, Anne was just a typical 13 year old girl, whose friends with some not so average teens, the clumsy but intelligent nerd Marcy, and the commanding and manipulative rich Sasha. Her life's been pretty easy with them around, so much so the principle gave her an essay on what kind of person she herself wants to be.

Sara: Well, the next day, on her birthday, she soon finds out. With Marcy's distraught over her parents moving away, she curiously finds the music box she had a glimpse of in her studies, and found a way to escape that reality. Sasha, loving the rich life, didn't want to have the basic birthday party shenanigans at Anne's old parties, and with a much more lively gift to offer, she manipulates Anne into abandoning the planned party and stealing the music box.

Vanessa: And with one swift open of the box, they all were sent to Amphibia, Sasha getting karma and captured by ruthless toads, Marcy ending up in Newtopia and becoming a humble advisor to King Andrias and Anne being sent to Wartwood, where's she's adopted by the Planters, who may or may not be decedents of Leif.

Sara: With the little violent sister Polly, the ever-cautious elder Hopediah - also known as Hop Pop - and the adventurous scamp Sprig, Anne learns how to survive in this absolutely dangerous world, turning her from a simple follower to a warrior.

Sara: While not superhuman on her own, Anne is skilled with a tennis racket and knows some hand to hand combat as well as sword training thanks to her time in Amphibia. Though by her her greatest and biggest assets are the Calamity Gems. These gems were stated to possess "unlimited power" to which Anne can tap into, granting the ability of flight, shoot powerful energy beams, create portals, enhanced physical abilities and so much more.

Vanessa: But the show stopper is when Anne goes Super Saiyan Blue. No, I'm no kidding, really. With the blue Calamity Gem, Anne's hair and eyes goes blue and uses said abilities Sara's mentioned in that state which is also dubbed "Super Anne". More like "Super Sai-Anne", am I right?

Sara: .....

Vanesa ..... wow, tough crowd.

Sara: Ahem, Anne has also wielded the two other Gems for a stronger form and an even stronger power boost as they in, Marcy's own words, "stack when used in tandem. Classic synergy buff." And when using all 3 Calamity Gems to the max, Anne gains a white form akin to Ultra Instinct.

Popup: While the other Calamity Gems aren't part of Anne's standard arsenal, she remained in her super form after Sasha and Marcy depowered, implying Anne still has access to the synchronize energy boost from all 3 Calamity Gems.

Vanessa: *Eyes twitching* Okay, is every form a Dragon Ball reference now? Like Sasha's form is Super Saiyan Rose and Marcy's being Legendary Super Saiyan. And should Anne die in battle, she can be revived by the 3- Gem Guardian. Basically he'll make a backup of Anne's being right before she's about to be killed.

Feats

Defeated numerous beasts and robots across Amphibia, Tritonio, Sasha (twice), several FBI agents, Andrias, and the Core

Resolved conflicts within Wartwood numerous times (Including a town-scale fan war), including ones started by her own doing

Helped the resistance fighters fight against the Core's robotic army and went on multiple successful missions

Outsmarted Tritonio

Helped the Plantar family grow as people and as a business, particularly helping them (especially Hop Pop and Sprig) deal with the loss of Sprig and Polly's parents.

Reconciled the friendship between her, Sasha, and Marcy

Saved the entirety of Amphibia and likely multiple other worlds by finally putting an end to the Core

Was the first person to ever use the three Calamity Gems for good across a 10,000 year period

Impressed the 3-Gem Guardian to the point it wanted to make her the new guardian of the multiverse

Also indirectly convinced said Guardian to let her live her full life so she could be an even better guardian later

Finally returned home for good alongside her friends Sasha and Marcy

Became a herpetologist 10 years later and works at an aquarium, even making an exhibit based off of Wartwood to honor her friends

Vanessa: Anne has proven to be Amphibia's, and Earth's, savior time and time again. She's battle dozens, if not hundred, of King Andrias' Frobots, FBI, her best friend Sasha twice and even Andrias himself. She's dodged lasers, survived explosions to the face multiple times, She was also the first person to use all 3 Calamity Gems in a 10,000 year period and battled the Core who was controlling the freaking moon!

Sara: The Core's helmet travelled from Amphibia to the moon in seconds, based on the time frame, scales to from 18.3% to 25% the speed of light and with the white form, Anne destroyed the moon-sized Core with a single attack once and for all. From the Anne's height, this would wield worth 38.9 Yottatons of TNT.

Popup: The blast shot through the core and into outer space which means her reaction speed should be about 43% the speed of light.

Weaknesses

Super forms have time limits and drains stamina, leaving Anne depowered after using them

Not much of a strategist

Impatient

Stubborn

Died after using all 3 Calamity Gems in her white form

Lacks ranged attacks in base form, relying on being a brawler

Sara: That being said, Anne isn't invincible. She head charges in without a plan and it's usually down to three simple steps: get close, avoid getting hit and hitting as hard as you can. While she's not completely helpless thanks to her sword training and knowledge in Muay Thai combat, Anne is vulnerable to range attacks in base form.

Vanessa: Even her super form have downsides, namely being on a time limit when used too much and should Anne use all 3 Calamity Gems, she would die which happened in the finale after destroying the Core at the cost of her life. Of course this is Disney we're talking about, so they did an asspull by having the 3-Gem Guardian bring Anne back to life until she'd ready to succeed him in "another 78 years".

Sara: But until then, Anne would return to her world after saving Amphibia and live a happy life with Marcy and Sasha.

Anne: You know, before I ended up in Amphibia, I didn't care about right or wrong. I just did what was easy. I let people walk all over me. And I think that's because I didn't love myself. Not really. But meeting you three has changed all of that. And these months we spent together, have shown me the person I really wanna be. Trap or not, I have to do this.

Luz Noceda Glyphs for DEATH BATTLE

(The Owl House Main Theme - TJ Hill)

https://youtu.be/BqE6KiijtH0

Sara: As a child Luz lived a pretty normal life, but tragedy would take a turn for the worse when her father died of a deadly illness. But before her dad would move on he would gift his daughter with one last gift, the book series of Azura the Good Witch.

Vanessa: And let me just say, she loved the hell out of it. And it kickstarted her journey of wanting to express her love for fantasy with pretty much everyone. The upsides, she had an incredibly free natured spirit. The downsides, she constantly got on everyone's nerve. Even her mom was somewhat ashamed of her.

Sara: In order to put her daughter back on track of being "normal", she would assign Luz to a summer school in hopes to put some sanity back into her head. At such school Luz would have such lovely activities such as..... balancing checkbooks..... and listening to the radio..... huh.

Vanessa: God damn who knew being part of society can be so freaking boring.

Sara: Fortunately for Luz, fate had other plans for her. As when a small creature, which looked like an Owl, would attempt to steal one of her Azura book. In her pursuit to reclaim her book, she would accidently stumble across a special doorway that lead her into a separate dimension and into the land called the Boiling Isles.

Vanessa: Which, might I remind you, is a literal dead corpse of a giant titan. Basically it's an organic Mata Nui. At first glance you would think that the Boiling Isles is more chaotic than Detroit Michigan but in Luz's eyes it was everything she fantasied about as the entire island is based on Magic. Not long after arriving in the Boiling Isle she would stumble across the self proclaim strongest witch of the Boiling Isles, Eda Clawthorne, who possessed a magic doorway that linked the 2 worlds and has been using it to steal human objects to sell to other witches.

Sara: But Eda wasn't just the "Strongest Witch", she was also the Boiling Isle most wanted criminal, and she planned on using Luz to perform many heists. However as time went on she would look at Luz as less of a tool and more of a Daughter she never had, and it grew to the point where she decided to educate her on the Boiling Isle and teach her the ways of Magic.

Vanessa: Juuuuust one problem, everyone on the Boiling Isles use a special organ from their hearts called a Bile Stack which acts as a battery for their magic, something Luz lacks as she's not a local. Fortunately, she's capable of utilizing a different kind of magic: Glyph Magic.

Vanessa: With the Glyphs Papers, Luz has access to numerous spells and powers. She can create a ball of light to either blind her targets or shoot it like lightning. She's also used elemental ones like fire, water, ice and wind and can summon plants. She can turn invisible, teleport, use petrification and many more. If that's not enough, Luz can be creative with her spells to perform combos.

Sara: But we can't forget ger two palismans or living magical items, Stringbean and Owlbert. Owlbert is actually responsible for sending Luz to the Boiling Isles in the first place and can channel magic spells for Luz as well as flying. Stringbean can not only shapeshift into different animals but also fire immense magic blasts. But when all hope seemed lost, Luz can tap into one powerful form: Titan Luz!

Vanessa: In this form, Luz gains the power of a Titan, one of the most powerful race in The Owl House universe. So strong that an equally powerful race called the Collectors hunted them down to near extinction due to the Titan's ability to negate magic. Only Papa Titan and his son King remained, the latter who was hidden in The Boiling Isles. When Luz died protector a young Collector from Emperor Belos' attack, she met Titan and he'd given the last of his life to give Luz a fighting chance against Belos.

Sara: Titan Luz's magic skyrockets and no longer needs her Glyph Papers draw magic spells, using only Stringbean instead. She can summon boiling rainstorms, fly and use a sonic shout which are capable of destroying objects and rupture eardrums.

Feats

Defeated several of Belos' guards, Warden Wrath, the Titan Trappers, Kikimora, and Belos

Was the second human to discover Titan Glyph Magic

Was the kickstarter towards revamping Hexside School of Magic and Demonics' track system

Helped reconcile the sibling bond between Eda and Lilith

Helped King understand his descendance better, and made Eda and King's relationship stronger because of it

With her support, people like Willow, Gus, Amity, Hunter and Vee managed to break out of their shells and become what they wanted to be

Managed to befriend The Collector

Stopped Belos' plans to perform genocide on all of witch-kind and saved the Boiling Isles

Helped rebuild the Boiling Isles during her teen years

Eventually graduated from Hexside and even attended college in the Demon Realm

Sara: Luz has battle all sorts of enemies in during her time in the Boiling Isles in an effort to restore it to peace such as the Warden Wrath, the Titan Trappers and many more. This also includes Owl Beast form Eda who can catch a laser, was able to survive numerous games from the Collector. And with her Titan form, Luz is able to contend with Emperor Belos who was also a Titan at this point and can be comparable to the Collector himself, who telekinetically moved the moon with his bare fingers.

Popup: She also once sent a wave of magic creating life at the same time a light glyph's light was spreading which puts her speed at 80% lightspeed.

Vanessa: Titan Luz once dispersed a huge mass of Titan Flash with a single attack, putting her speed at either 11.9% or 19.58% the speed of light. And scaling to the Collector moving the moon puts her power at 8 Ninatons of TNT. And the Collector once traveled to the Isles in mere minutes with his magic and has "returned to the stars" by the end of the series. However, it's it's impossible to say whether Titan Luz can always scale to him since they never really fought.

Weaknesses

Invisibility spell can only work when the user holds their breath

Died after taking a hit for the Collector

Luz isn't the most physically strongest as she was not able to pull up a lever due to her, as she says "weak nerd arms"

While noticeably smart, her excitement leaves her to go into problems without thinking things through

Unable to use Glyph Magic outside of the Boiling Isles

Requires Glyph Papers to use magic.

Titan form requires Luz dying

Titan forms runs on a limited time as it uses Papa Titan's life

Vanessa: But Luz does have her faults. Luz is reliant on her her Glyph Papers to casts spells and is essentially out of options when separated. But even if she still has them, they can't work on an environment that's deprived of Titan/Magic blood. Her headstrong personality has caused her to get into trouble for her and her peers.

Sara: She also has a bad habit of rushing into problems without thinking it through. Not to mention that in order to access her Titan form, Luz actually needs to die, so if she dies early in a the fight and uses Titan Luz, she loses her only revive. And once her Titan Magic disappears, so will her ability to use her Glyph Magic for good.

Vanessa: But with the threat vanquished and a newfound sense of confidence and belief in herself, Luz has gone for "Luz the Silly and Ordinary human" to "Luz the Good Witch, Savior of the Demon Realm".

Luz: I think I just..... realized something. I don't know why it took me so long to figure out. The only thing I've ever really wanted..... was to be understood!

(^)(^)(^)(^)(^)(^)

Sara: All right, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.

Sara and Vanessa: It's time..... For a DEATH BATTLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Forest

(Calamity At The Door - Brandon Yates ft. MaraxLen)

https://youtu.be/zqCJpFUGa4o

In between the vastness of the treelines, a small line is seen from the distance as it zooms past, Luz Noceda darting across as she tried to look for something.

Luz: Come on! The book said it had to be somewhere! If I don't find it soon, Eda's curse could-

Before she could finish talking to herself, a bright light engulfed her senses as she was forced to put Stringbean, her palisman, to a screeching halt before she crashed somewhere. She looked down as another teenage girl, Anne Boonchuy, slowly stood up from the group, her mind spinning.

Anne: Some days you just love to screw me over, huh, Calamity Box?

Luz gasps in surprise.

Luz: Another human.....

Luz analyzed Anne's strange appearance. Luz saw that she was wearing some type of dirty school uniform with a chestplate, having a symbol she didn't recognize. She also noticed that Anne had one shoe missing, a backpack, a sword, and sticks & leaves in her hair! Luz would then think.

Luz: *Thinking* So cool! She looks just like one of those guys from Vagabondia-

But her thoughts are cut short when she noticed Anne carrying a book, one that Luz slowly recognized.

Luz: Wait, is that.....

Anne turns as a voice calls to her, shocked at the presence of someone like her as she picks up her backpack and puts it back.

Anne: Hey, uhh, you wouldn't know where this is right?

Luz: Oh! Well, this is the Demon Realm- Wait! I'm getting off track, listen! Is that... the Calamity Box, right?

The look on Anne's face as she instinctively puts the backpack closer to herself tells Luz everything she needs to know.

Luz: I heard about that Box! It says it's able to cure people! I just need to borrow it for a bit, please!

Anne: Heard about that box- I barely know you, girl! How am I going to know you aren't just going to, like, use it for some dark ritual or something?

Luz looks at Anne for a moment, then down towards the ground. Normally she would just try to talk this through for a bit longer, but time wasn't something she had on her.

Luz: ..... I ..... won't. I promise.

FIGHT!

She opened her palm and activates a Light Glyph towards Anne, blinding her! Anne screamed and covered her eyes.

Anne: What the-

As Luz would continue to press her assault by flying closer on her palisman, and placing a Plant Glyph on the ground that summons a huge pair of vines heading straight towards Anne. Anne recovers from being blinded only to see the vines sprout from the ground and darting at her at a rapid speed, Anne slices through each of the vines before they could even touch her, and with a vertical motion, she slices clean through the biggest one.

Much to the visible shock of Luz as Anne didn't seem that physically capable to her at first glance. Anne would then give a confident look then smirk to a Luz floating in the sky on her palisman, more than a few feet away from her.

Anne: You are not going to take it away from me as easily as that, sister!

Luz regains her facial composure and steels herself.

Luz: ..... Fine, hard way it is then!

But before Luz could cast another Glyph, Anne takes out a Tennis Racket in one hand, and a strange pink sphere in the other, aka her Bath Bomb. Anne serves the bath bomb and hits it towards Luz in the air. Luz dodges the bomb but is caught off guard by the explosion that happens next to her, knocking her off her palisman, as she falls from the sky, Anne rapidly approaching. Luz uses a Safety Hover Glyph that stops her before she hits the ground then immediately applies a Mist Glyph which causes Anne to miss her target with the swing of her Tennis Racket.

Anne: Oh come on!

Anne now with her sight of Luz lost, holds her tennis racket on guard as she cautiously wanders through the mist, soon Anne unknowingly steps on a Glyph that flashes red, immediately catching her attention. As she takes her foot off the Glyph quickly to see a giant monster arm with sharp claws try and swipe at her, this was the Monster Arm Glyph.

Anne: Crap!

Anne then swings her Tennis Racket, easily sending the monster arm away into a weird mush. The mist would then disappear as Anne turns around and sees that Luz found her Palisman. Quickly, Luz casts an Ice Glyph, as a chill is felt in the air, massive walls of ice beginning to encircle Anne. She puts away her tennis racket and pulls out her sword again, slowly trying to push out of the circle while also watching her step and avoid getting stuck.

Anne: Getting real sick of this! Ah!

As Anne is tripped by a chunk of ice grabbing her foot, landing face first on the ground as the rest of the ice takes the opportunity to attempt to restrain Anne. Luz approaches, looking a bit tired of the whole ordeal.

Luz: It's over, just give me the Box and I'll go on my way.

Anne looks up towards Luz, feeling this whole situation a bit familiar and responds defiantly.

Anne: As if!

Anne's eyes quickly flash blue as she rips herself away from the ice out of sheer strength. Luz sees Anne's eyes flash, and is left a little startled at Anne's sheer physical strength hinted by those foreign glowing blue eyes that give Luz a form of dread, a brief memory of an enemy best forgotten.

Luz: She definitely isn't normal..... could it be the Box? What else can that thing do!?

Anne: Why don't you come over here and find out.

As Anne points her sword at Luz. Luz somewhat feels the need to dash in and test this out herself, but she doesn't have the room to mess around.

Luz: Not until I figure this out!

Luz tries another spell on Anne, the Fire Glyph. As a large belt of fire is launched at Anne in a stream. But to Luz's surprise the spell is intercepted and caught in a power struggle with something. Is it a spell? No that can't be right, Luz hasn't seen Anne use any type of magic, even the Glyphs. Luz peeks over to see Anne laughing like a maniac, as she holds a bug spouting flames, Anne's Flamethrower.

Luz: *Shocked* She's really-

Anne: FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIIIIIIRRRRRRRREEEEE!

Anne yells out her response akin to some kind of war cry. Both Luz's spell and Anne's Flamethrower run out of juice. Anne throws away her Flamethrower, re-equipping her sword, and makes a mad dash towards Luz. Luz scrambles to find another Glyph to use but has to switch her attention over to defending herself with her palismen from Anne's sword strike, the steel hits the wood as it makes a small dent in it.

For a second, Anne swears to hear an animal cry of sorts. The thought doesn't last long as Anne easily disarms Luz. Luz quickly brings out a Snaggleback Shell to defend herself, as Anne releases a relentless amount of punishment on the shell, Luz almost buckling from the force.

Anne: Give! It! Up! You ain't getting the Box from me!

Luz: I can't come back empty handed! Also, a small tip for you since you aren't from around here. Don't watch the mouth, watch the hands.

Anne: Don't watch the wha-

Anne catches a small glimpse of a paper glyph in Luz's hand, as all of the sudden Luz turns invisible in front of a shocked Anne, the Snaggleback Shell dropping to the ground, Luz just used the Invisibility Glyph on herself. Anne, now having lost sight of her opponent again after how long it took for her to get this close, is reasonably frustrated, commenting.

Anne: You can turn invisible now!? Sure, like keeping an eye on you wasn't already a big pain in the butt!

Anne is almost cut short as from behind her a bottle with a blue liquid inside, as well a snowflake symbol on the outside, floats in mid air and is tossed at Anne. Anne is completely frozen solid in a block of ice, from her feet to her neck. Anne was hit with the Ice Potion. The only part of her body that wasn't frozen other than her head was her backpack that is being opened, the Calamity Box is grabbed, turning invisible too.

Luz's invisibility goes away as she's revealed to be far away in front of Anne. Anne's face turns into one of complete dismay seeing Luz with the box, her way home.

Luz: Finally, okay, I'll take this to Eda and come back and get you out. I would try to bring you along but uhh, I don't think you can right now.

Luz turns around, and hop on her palisman to fly away, leaving Anne as a human popsicle. Catching a quick glimpse at the Box as Stringbean begins to ascend, she notices the stones that came with the box are now missing, which shocked her. But then she heard Anne shouting from below.

Anne: GIVE IT BACK!

As the color of Anne's eyes changes blue, her hair now shares the same color as it also begins to grow sticks and colorful leaves, this was Super Anne. Shattering the ice block she was encased in merely from powering up, Luz turns around and notices the transformation, and is stunned.

Luz: WOAH!

In awe and fear of Anne's transformation, Luz smacks Two Light Glyphs together that form into an energy beam that heads straight towards this new Anne, to simply defend herself from whatever calamity may come from this transformation. But in a flash, faster than anything Luz could've perceived, Anne drops her sword onto the ground then takes out her tennis racket and swings it at the light beam attack, sending it back at Luz at imperceptible speeds to her.

The attack hits Luz, the dust clears to reveal nothing left of her except many small spheres of light. Anne looked over, completely shocked, her hair returning to an oak like brown, dropping her now broken tennis racket as she tried to approach the area where she just redirected the blast.

Anne: *Panicked No, no, no! I didn't mean to! I'm so sorry-

But Anne is cut short as her ears immediately notice the slightest hint of a voice in the sky. Anne doesn't not know where it comes from but one quote stands particularly clear..

Papa Titan: Go Luz, save her..... save the one who my son calls.... mother.....

The girl doesn't have time to process those words as a purple beam of energy shoots upwards near her, lifting a thick veil of smoke as it did. Anne looks forward as a figure stands, her body with wolf-like features and sharp claws and her face covered by a giant witch's hat. Luz has been granted the power of her Titan form.

Luz: You just have made a grave mistake, for I am the Good Witch Luz!

Glyphs form around her body as she prepares her next attack.

Luz: Child of the Human Realm! Student of the Demon Realm!

The human-Titan flew around with her Palisman forming a purple ring. Anne barely has enough time to react to what was about to happen, as her aura begins glowing again, returning back to her Super form.

Luz: And Warrior of Peace!

Luz shouted before holding her palisman up in the air, as it suddenly glows yellow along with everything within the purple ring, forming a Giant Light Glyph that is omnidirectionally destroying anything unfortunate enough to be caught in its path. As this attack heads straight towards Anne, Anne forms a shockwave to try and dissipate some of the energy, but it's too late as she is thrown miles and miles away from where she stood.

As Anne tries to recover, Luz approaches as she grows massive thorns around Anne and proceeds to grab her with them, smacking her around the forest, passing small hills along the way. Summoning what little strength she can muster, Anne screams as a shockwave sets her free and completely destroys the plant trap.

Anne: This is insane! She wasn't nearly as strong as this before! I thought she was just a witch with the cauldrons and the spooky bug potions!

Luz: Well, actually it's more than that, there are like 7 more covens you can enter and you play Flyer Der- Hey wait, why am I telling you this!?

Luz encircles herself into a massive shield, surrounding it the different glyphs seen in the isles on full display, and makes a mad dash at Anne, with intent to ram her into the ground and finish this fight. Not liking her chances, Anne tries to focus as much as she can on the stones, trying to access each of their powers in unison. She thinks about her own heart as well as her strength and wit.

Using the powers in tandem, Anne's form evolves even further, now gaining a golden and blue armor around her body while the thorns in her head grow even larger. Anne taps into all 3 Calamity Gems!

She closes her eyes as Luz is inches from reaching her, as a massive Tennis Racket construct forms in her hand as with all her might she pulls it forward and towards her opponent.

Anne: SERVE, BABY!

Anne smacks the shield upwards with great force, launching Luz further and further into the sky as the orange look of the Isles becomes replaced by the darkness of space; she has struck Luz into the stratosphere. With only one thought on Luz's mind afterwards.

Luz: Did you just LAUNCH ME INTO SPACE!? WITH A GIANT TENNIS RACKET!?

Anne: There's more where that came from!

Luz turns as Anne fires 3 cat-like constructs from her hands, directly homing in on her position. Counterattacking, Luz summons 3 giant Fire Glyphs of her own as they collide with Anne's attack, creating a massive explosion that is seen back where the fight began. Sending both of them careening across space.

Anne readjusts herself from the attack in mid air to see Luz in hot pursuit from a distance, coming up inside some purple and yellow energy ball, before dissipating, revealing her. Anne isn't going to just sit and watch of course as she then summons her sword from far below on the Boiling Isles as it spins, ripping through the ground, casually cleaving a horn off the Titans skull, to Luz's anger

Luz: Hey! Watch it! That's my guy back there!

But to no avail as she is ignored. The sword is finally brought into Anne's grip at the speed of light as she then infuses it with Calamity Energy, and she soon charges towards Luz in flight, hoping to collide with her and quickly end this. Anne arrives at Luz only to be stopped by a Magic Barrier Luz casts in reaction to block Anne's sword strike. Luz tries to perform another spell to attack Anne but fails.

Luz: Ah! Still getting the hang of this.....

This gives Anne an opportunity to fly around the barrier and disarm Luz of her palisman again with her sword. But this time Luz is prepared as she quickly grabs Anne's blade with her bare hands, with many Purple Glyphs surrounding them as Luz casually shatters Anne's sword that was enveloped in her Calamity Energy.

Luz: *Sheepish* Uh, oops.

Anne: Oh, come on! That was a family heirloom!

Luz throws a punch at Anne, thinking the victory is hers, only for the complete reverse opposite to happen. As Anne not only dodges, but starts messing up Luz's entire rhythm with Muay Thai, Anne is smiling the entire time, and says as if she were Luz's teacher.

Anne: You're too eager.

Luz: Yeah, I've been told that a lot!

The onslaught of attacks and counters stung Luz, but they aren't anything that really mattered. Luz only ends up getting annoyed that she can't land a single hit with all the power she has over Anne. Luz then soon opts for a retreat from this hand to hand combat nonsense to reunite with her palisman, and put an end to this once and for all. As Luz flies away, Anne immediately knew what she was doing and quickly followed suit.

Anne: Oh no you don't!

But Anne stops her flight immediately at the sight of her Calamity Power flashing in and out, she realized with horror that she's running out of juice.

Anne: No, no, no, no! Argh! I can't keep doing this, even with all those hits I gave to her earlier it didn't do squat, I'll just tire myself out.

Anne gives a deep sigh as she takes a look at the Calamity Gems in her hands.

Anne: I can't let this power fall under the wrong hands, not for Earth, Amphibia, heck, not even here. Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop, I'm sorry.....

As Anne says this she clenches the three stones tightly as she then starts whispering something to them as they clasp in between her hands with tears almost about to form in her eyes. Luz reuniting with her palisman, turns around to see Anne's hand shine multicolored bright lights, before stopping, Anne opens her palm to reveal three now colorless stones dissipating into dust, to Luz's complete shock.

Luz: What did you do..... WHAT DID YOU DO!?

Before Luz spoke further, Anne's body shines brighter than even Luz's Giant Light Glyph in a white light, to Luz's complete astonishment! The light fades to reveal Anne in her white form. Luz looks down to see the bright yellow symbol on her chest fading in and out, her time is almost up. This is Luz's worst case scenario as she begins to panic.

Luz: Do you have any idea what you've done!? This was my one shot at getting them! My only shot at saving her!

Anne's angry expression becomes more calm as Luz's face begins to swell with tears, before balling her right hand up and placing it on top of her chest, over her heart.

Anne: That's who you called Eda earlier, right? Did she take you in here?

Luz: Her and her kid, King..... the Demon Realm looked so weird and scary at first, but if it wasn't for them I would have never got to where I am now. I met so many great people there, friends, family..... and something more.

Anne: I have a home out there too, well, another home, not like back on Earth. It's mostly all hills, swamps, giant things that try to have you for dinner...but there are also great folks, folks I've also called family myself. It's a little place called Amphibia.

Anne recalled the memories of everyone she met in her journey, and her friends, family. Before raising her hand and charging her final attack towards Luz. Luz immediately pieced together what Anne meant with her words, now thinking about everything she went through in her journey, love, hate, sadness but ultimately understanding.

Luz: "Amphibia" huh? Sound sweet.

Luz began to construct her Light Glyph Beam spell, preparing for the final clash.

Luz: THEN YOU KNOW WHY I CAN'T LOSE! NOW EAT THIS SUCKAAAAAAAAAAA!

Anne: SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT! HAAAAAAAAAA!

Anne fires her giant white ball of energy as Luz fires hers at the same time too. Both attacks collide, and struggle for a bit, Luz is sweating, getting tired, her power is fading FAST, and this attack seems like it might just be too powerful for even her. Anne is looking worse for wear as her body looks like it's being torn apart! Her body is having trouble handling this much power from the Calamity Gems' full potential. A huge explosion happens in between the two attacks, the explosion engulfs both Luz and Anne, completely clearing the skyline revealing the moon and that it's nighttime now.

It's quiet, then all of the sudden a flash of light appears over the top of one of the highest cliffs of the Boiling Isles, a view that spans the entire island. The flash of light goes away to reveal Anne Boonchuy, shaken but perfectly fine. Anne takes a seat near the edge of the cliff and looks up at the sky towards the moon to see many small beautiful spheres of light, almost forming a witches hat. Anne simply sat there, the last spectacle of a witch whose heart shined with love and care as strong and bright as the spectacle above her.

KO!

* Anne lays her head on the small patch of grass beneath her, a tired look in her eyes.

* Luz's witch hat can be seen floating in the water.

(Calamity At The Door again)

Vanessa: Oh boy, there's gonna a lot of fanboys coming at us for this.

Sara: There's a lot of things going around for both Luz and Anne especially since we've given them all of their arsenal. Luz was smarter and has a plethora of magic abilities to keep Anne away, but Anne's greater hand to hand combat, sword training and speed would allow her keep up. And with her super form, Anne easily has greater AoE attacks than Luz. Honestly if we just stuck to their standard abilities, Anne would have an easy time beating Luz.

Vanessa: But the moment their higher forms are brought in, Anne is fighting an uphill battle. Titan Luz completely outclassed all of Anne's super forms in sheer power. Anne destroying the Core maybe be at 38.9 Yottatons of TNT, but Titan Luz is comparable to the Collector who moved a moon with his finger, putting her at over 8 Ninatons of TNT, and just to be clear, 1 Ninaton equals 1000 Yottatons so that's a big gap in power. And combined with her wider variety of magic spells to use and her form lasting a bit longer, Anne was in serious trouble.

Sara: And yet, Anne still has what it takes to pull off a win. While it's true Titan Luz can last longer than any of Anne's individual transformations, Anne still has the advantage of having a much easier access to her super forms. Titan Luz's power would diminish over time and remember that Luz technically has to die in order to receive Titan Luz and that would waster her only revival method.

Popup: While the invisibility spell could catch Anne off guard for a while, Luz is unable to attack due to her holding her breath to keep the spell active. Plus Anne would immediately go on the defensive upon seeing Luz disappear suddenly, making this approach unreliable.

Vanessa: And while not as smart, Anne has more combat experience. Anne would eventually figure out that she can't hurt Titan Luz up close and would keep her distance, blasting her with energy beams, use energy constructs, etc. With having a greater travel speed of 25% against Luz's 19.58%, Anne would still be fast enough to dodge most of Luz's attacks. But hang on, Titan Luz's plant growth clocks at 80% the speed of light which is faster than anything Super Anne has ever done. So wouldn't she be faster than Super Anne's 25%? Well it's not really something Luz can do herself.

Sara: The growth itself is not traveling forward itself, as it is not its own spell. We see earlier in the fight with Titan Belos that Luz's magic being released across the area not only disperses Belos' moss-flesh-stuff, but also accelerates the growth of the nature around her. Causing grass to appear where moss once was present. Considering that just before the grass appeared, Luz's moss dispersing attack had spread around the area, along with the fact the energy that dispersed said moss looks identical to the energy that originally grew the grass in the prior scene (you can tell by the purple outline), we can reach a simple conclusion. The energy that has already moved in tandem with the light is simply causing the grass to grow as a bonus to destroying the moss, with the grass only appearing after the energy has already passed by. Thus its growth along the area cannot be used as a speed feat.

Sara: As for the Collector's speed of having to "returned to the stars", that statement is very vague and has no context for that. Even if we did, that statement happened after the fight with Belos, where Luz no longer has her Titan form. But let's talk about one more thing: their ability to cheat death. Both have a revival method in the form of Papa Titan and the 3-Gem Guardian should they fall in battle and keep fighting.

Vanessa: The difference is that Anne's revival is more beneficial than Luz's. There was no explicit limitations to how many times the 3-Gem Guardian can revive Anne which means Anne can keep coming back whenever she dies and as a bonus, he'll make an exact copy of Anne before she dies which means Anne is always all 100% when revived. In contrast, Luz's revival is only a one time thing as Papa Titan has to use his life to bring her back. Another drawback is her Titan magic would diminish the longer its used now that Papa Titan isn't around and when it fades, Luz will no longer be able to use her magic which would spell her doom against Anne in a base versus base fight, thanks to Anne's superior training and knowledge of Muay Thai combat.

Sara: Luz definitely did not go down without a fight thanks to her wider arrange of magic spells, greater intelligence and overall Titan form. But Anne managed to pull off the win thanks to her being slightly faster, more combat training, having an easier access to her super forms and a more reliant and beneficial revival method.

Vanessa: Luz thought her victory was on the House, but Anne made sure to put her lights out.

Sara: The winner is Anne Boonchuy.
