Sivaangi awoke, irritated by the constant ringing sounds of her alarm.She switched off the alarm and awoke to begin her dreary day. The sky was obscured by dense dark clouds that resembled a heart. Every day, she cursed herself and pushed herself every second to catch up with her life.
She went through her morning routine and dressed professionally in a white t-shirt and grey skirt. As she stood in front of the mirror, her hands caressed her immaculate white cloth. She made her way to her office with a faint grin and a melancholy sigh.

"Good morning, Sivaangi" Her friend ,Maya chirped.

Sivaangi: Good morning, Maya. Sivaangi chirped back with a wide grin.

"You know right? Iniku namma company kooda J company new dealing iruku.. That company's head is coming today.. Ne dhan avaruku work pannanum".

Sivaangi: Yeah, Maya.. I remember.. Endha sidu moonji uncle vara poraaro therile.. Hope he isn't annoying.

Sivaangi moved to her desk , praying for a good sidu moonji to be the head with whom she was going to work for the next couple of days.

She was insisted to buy a bouquet to welcome the new head. Sivaangi took this as a chance to impress the head and bought a bouquet of fresh bright red roses. She adjusted her hair and did a quick make-up and made herself presentable.

She gave a small smile as she awaited for the gentleman , holding the bouquet in her hands.

She heard the lift door being opened and her eyes fell on the tall and devilishly handsome man, who walked towards her. Her eyes raged and she gritted her teeth when she saw him. She clutched the rose bouquet in her hands and she burned him with her eyes.

The man came near her with a soft smile. He removed his glasses and looked at the petite woman , holding a bouquet of roses. He was impressed.

Maya: Welcome Sir. She greeted but his eyes were fixed on the woman with the bouquet.
Maya nudged Sivaangi to greet him.
Sivaangi: Welcome Sir. She said still gritting her teeth.

"Hello, young miss".

Sivaangi: I'll be working with you for the next couple of days , Sir. She spoke as she was again nudged by Maya.

"So that's going to be my pleasure,Ms. Sivaangi" He passed a smile and bought the bouquet from her hands, as she was too disinterested on handing it to him.

"Please come to my cabin. I need to talk". He made his way to his cabin with his people surrounding him.

Maya: You're so lucky , Sivaangi.. I mean just look at him.. edho sidu moonji uncle varakoodathu nu sonna... Hey lucky Chik.

Sivaangi: He's my enemy.

"Sivaangi.. I asked you to come to my cabin". He ordered.

Sivaangi cursed him as it was the fifth time she's being called in the past twenty minutes.

Sivaangi: Yes sir. How may I help you now?
" Enna help ketaalum pannuvingala?" He asked her with a teasing smile.

Sivaangi: Sir.. indha maari loose talks ku enaku time ile.. Please let me know if i could be if any help.

"Call me Ashwin". That's the help I expect from you.

Sivaangi: I can't, Sir.

Ashwin: Then you aren't leaving from here.

Sivaangi: Sollunga, Ashwin.

Ashwin: How are you , Sivaangi? He asked as his eyes bore onto hers.

Sivaangi's heart skipped a beat , when she heard his softened voice and his concerned eyes.

Sivaangi: Nalla iruken. Avlodhana? Let me leave.

Ashwin : Ouch! That hurts.. Na epdi iruken nu kekave ile?

Sivaangi folded her arms across her chest and gave him a stern look, which made him give a sheepish smile.

But Maya called her and informed something and asked her to pass the information to Ashwin. Sivaangi made her way to his cabin.

Sivaangi: Sollunga, Ashwin.. enna pannanum.

Ashwin: Wow.. iniku na kekamale Ashwin nu kooptinga?

Sivaangi sighed , but her heart always wanted to call him by his name.

Ashwin: Okay okay.. anga mela irukra files elam konjam edunga.. refer pannanum.

She twisted her lips and began taking the files in order.

Sivaangi: Indha thenna marathukku edutha dhan ennavaam? Idhuku naaney dhan varanuma?

Suddenly she heard a sound of the door being locked. She turned towards him wide eyes.

Sivaangi: Ayoo!!!! Adha lock pannadhinga.

She screamed.

Ashwin: Hssss... Adhuku en ma kathura? Door dhane open pannita pochu.

Ashwin casually pulled the door knob , but it didn't open. He gave a thiruttu muzhi and tried hard to open the door. He even pressed his legs on the wall and pulled the door knob.

Sivaangi laughed at his state and he realised how he was standing and composed himself, quickly.

Ashwin moved towards the corner of the room and stood scared.

Ashwin: Ma... Angaye nillu kitta varadha.. Oru ponnu kooda ipdi oru room le lock aagirkene, kadavuleyy. Enaku inum kalyanam kooda aagala.. veetla amma ku therinja enna nenapanga???

He began lamenting , that made Sivaangi roll her eyes at the man child. But her heart captured the words that he wasn't married yet.

Sivaangi: Hello?? Enna veladringala?? Enna patha epdi theriyudhu?

Ashwin: Door lock epdi aachu?

Sivaangi obeyed as he said and informed Maya that they both were stuck in his cabin.
Ashwin sat on his chair fiddling with his pen , while she walked restlessly.

Ashwin: Innum evlo neram ipdi walking poga pora?

Sivaangi didn't reply, instead kept walking as her anxiety was kicking her up.

Sivaangi began sweating profusely and clutched her hands together, breathing heavily. Ashwin sensed something wrong in her and went near her.

He slowly touched her shoulder , making her jerk.

Sivaangi: Please .. enne onnum pannadhinga.. please.. don't touch me..stay away.. please. She cried continuously.

Ashwin: Ma.. relax.. na onnum panla.. you're safe , Sivaangi. Na iruken ma.

Ashwin slowly snaked his arms around her shoulder, comforting her. In reflex Sivaangi burried her face on his chest , sobbing badly. Ashwin slowly held face, letting her cry.
Sivaangi pushed him away after sometime, with blood shot eyes.

Sivaangi: Ellam unnala dhan.. Had you not done that, I would not have been here, in this state.

Ashwin: Sivaangi... You have misunderstood.

Sivaangi: No... I'm not.. nee dhan elathukum Karanam Ashwin. Unna andha naal ku aprm paakave koodadhu nu nenachen.. but it's my ill fate that made me to you meet again.

Ashwin: That's where you went wrong, sivaangi. Oru chance nee enaku kuduthurndha... Namma indha nelamai le irundhurka maatom.

Ashwin: Just remember that I'm equally affected for what you did, as your revenge.

Sivaangi remained silent.

Ashwin: It wasn't me, who did that.

Sivaangi looked at his blank face.

Ashwin: I know sivaangi.. college ode student council president aaganum nu nee evlo aasa pata nu.. but I know that chance slipped off from you.

Sivaangi: And that's because of you.

Ashwin: No. He screamed.

Sivaangi's heart broke as she saw him crying. She badly wanted to embrace him and make his heart happy. Her heart screamed to pull him to her arms and she listened to her heart and she slowly pulled him into her arms.

He instead pulled her more towards him and burried his face on her neck.

Ashwin: Na andha room kulle yarum ile nu nenachu dhan lock panna vandhen.. but lock panradhuku munnadi I got a call, I moved from there and I by mistake kept my phone under my bench as I was suddenly called by my professor.

I came to know that a picture of you and guy kissing went viral and it was sent from my phone. I had no evidence by my side to prove me.

The whole world seemed to stop for her. She wished she could burry herself for what she did to him. Had she not spiked his drink during his campus interview as her revenge and made him misbehave , he might not have faced such crisis in his life.

Sivaangi: Ashwin...

He pulled back slowly, sniffing. Sivaangi cupped his cheeks.

Sivaangi: I know a sorry can't change anything. But na adha sollanum.. solliye aganum.. I'm sorry, Ashwin. I'm sorry. Please punish me.

She held his hands and made him slap her.
Ashwin pulled his hand back and caressed her face with his cheeks.

Ashwin: Punish dhan panna poren.. Lifetime ku punish panna poren.

Sivaangi: Ashwin.. I don't deserve you.

Ashwin: But I deserve you and your love. Please give me a chance, Sivaangi.

She bit back her tears and gave him a forehead kiss. He wiped his tears and held her close to his heart.

With all the held up emotions , sivaangi kissed his lips and muttered an 'I love you', through her lips.
