i'm upset over bale and i am by no means a villain defender (don't arrest me) but it's interesting that the city is allowed to mourn her (even though she isn't officially declared dead yet) yet when the gov executes heroes for "treason" and "fraternizing with the villains", it all gets hushed up. more and more heroes are falling off the grid and it feels ominous

I mean... it's an open secret that they're "disappearing" to defect to the villains' side. A lot of the "villains" started out as "heroes" before they realised how fucked up the system is. And when they left to form their own group, the gov branded them as "villains".

Mirage is a pretty good example. He defected alongside his husband (I think he was a medic), he's still around, he's one of the leaders of the villain faction.

IMPORTANT. FOR BALEFIRE'S DOCTORS

Here is my paper on the effects of my shadow attacks on the human body and how to heal from them (at least my hypothesis on how to heal). And the accompanying 48-page presentation. I had to make this public because I still don't have access to anyone's DMs. Sorry for any spelling mistakes, I wrote this in a rush but I triple checked the statistics and they should be accurate. I really am very very sorry for hitting Balefire and I know this doesn't make up for it but I hope this helps at least a little

It would've happened IMMEDIATELY. it's my name. Instant death. But it was my mistake and i immediately ran to pull out the shadows to minimize the damage. After being struck in the chest by Tachythanatous, the hero Balefire is reportedly making good progress and is in a stable condition. Her clan, the Panopoly clan, wishes to thank citizens for their goodwill, support, and privacy.
