Gon P.O.V

All of us are dressed for horse riding, opting to leave before the parents or Mito try anything. "I see you guys snuck out of bed once more." Mito utters beside my horse attempting to caress it, but the horse makes a distressed noise. I choose to ignore her. Petting my horse for comfort.

"I thought I might hear you speak silly nonsense once more, but atleast you didn't." However she says the word didn't indicting she knows we did and will most likely use it against us. I grit my teeth, while Sebastian looks ready to start a fight. Oaky lightly touches Sebastians shoulder to tell him no. We all know of what she speaks, we used to call Oaky by They or Them in the privacy of our chambers and then one day Mito thought it would be delightful to spy on us, ever since then we are forced to say he or she in private as well. But Mother said "nonsense if she wishes to pretend to have no gender she will be called he instead." However last night zero fucks were given.

Sebastian lost it at the table the day mother said that. It sickens them to do it. But Oaky is strong, they- "Oh you have nothing to worry about Mito, They feel absolutely comfortable in our presence, I am sure that's what you were concerned about?" Says Sebastian sweetly. Mito glares at him, while us siblings stare wide eyed, but proud. Sebastian always had the guts we failed to have. "Don't make me-" Mito begins.

Sebastian simply scoffs and mounts his horse. "Don't make you what? I am already sent off every chance they get and killing me would cause a riot amongst the people. Guess what they like us more then you." He then rides his horse, all of us joining him.

Killua P.O.V

"Oh my gosh, my baby looks so beautiful." My mom gushes dramatically as I show her the outfit I will wear on my wedding day. I blush furiously. "You think so?" She nods aggressively. "Alluka! Doesn't kil look amazing!?...where is she"

Alluka was no where in site. I roll my eyes knowing she is making out with Zushi around the corner. "Oh you know how girls can be mother."

"Your brother wrote! Hisoka and Illumi are coming down today!" I beam, it's been forever since I have seen Illumi. They moved to another village, they're still in the kingdom, but it's an hour away by carriage. So on foot it's quite a distance. I smile to myself glad that I get to see Illumi after so long. "Mother I will be back in a bit okay?" I change out of my outfit and Before my mother can even stop me I leave the house.

I walk into the forest and follow the secret passage Gon and I used to walk to sneak away and just be. I keep following the trail, my hands tracing the carvings we would make in the trees. I love you. I love you more. Come on babe hurry up. You looked beautiful today. I missed you so much. My snowflake. You're such an idiot. My hand traces the last words on the last marked tree. "You're such an idiot." Killua whispers under his breath. That's something he used to say to Gon as a term of endearment. Looking at it now he wonders who truly was the idiot between the two. Killua keeps walking until something catches his eyes on the closest tree to his right. Come back to me. Killua gasps at the sight. His hand hesitantly hovers over it before touching it. This one is new. Its recent. How does Killua know this? He comes here every few months. Why? He doesn't exactly know. Perhaps it's for closure, something he feels he will never obtain. He gulps. Gon has been here recently. His heart skips a beat at the thought, but he quickly shakes his head. He came here for a reason. He moves past the tree and finally comes across the opening to the waterfall. Killua gets in the water pool and quickly walks through the waterfall into the cave that he and Gon used to spend many passionate nights.

Killua looks for the chest and quickly pulls out his key, he unlocks it and looks inside, trinkets from their relationship. Love letters Gon used to write to him. A necklace with a mini snow flake on it. A almost burnt out candle. Killua smiles at the candle, this was the first ever candle they used and had sex with it lit. They only ever used the candle on special occasions after that. Its almost completely dead at this point. That's how many special moments they have had. But to them almost every moment was a special moment. Killua scoffed at that shaking his head. A handkerchief with the royal emblem on it. Gon said that one day it would be Killua's, when Killua becomes his King beside him. So they can rule and make this Kingdom a better place. And lastly a secret something only the two of them knew off. A promise ring. It's a simple gold band, with the engraving il mio amore on it. "My love." Killua whispers to himself.

"Gon what is that?" Killua asks his eyes wide, his hands covering his mouth.

Gon chuckles. "Relax love, it's a promise ring, I just thought I would love you to have it, so you know that you mean the world to me. So what do you say? Will you be my promised?"

Killua beams and nods his head. "I would love to."

Killua had always made an effort to learn the languages of royalty to better present himself. Italian was the first one he learned and the one he struggled most with. So when Gon spoke fluently to him most of the time. He had Gon give him a few lessons after they made love. It was completely romantic.

Killua giggles as he snuggles his face in Gon's chest, his hand tracing patterns on Gon's arm. "Tell me something else il mio amore." Killua whispers. Gon smiles down at Killua and kisses his forehead sweetly, while brushing his hair out off his face. Killua's cheeks immediately tint pink as Gon looks at him like he is the light of his life. "Vorrei dormire ma il mio amore non me lo permette"

Killua was mesmerized. "What's it mean?" He asks immediately. Gon chuckles. Killua pouts and lightly slaps his arm. "Hey why you're laughing! Did you just call me fat or something!?"

Gon shakes his head and hands as he chuckles. "No! No! I just said I would like to sleep but my love won't let me." Killua grumbles and gives Gon another slap on the arm.

"Meanie." Killua grumbles. Gon smiles and hovers over Killua kissing his face all over. "Is that so? Well then I guess I should punish you since I am such a meanie, as you say." Gon smirks. Killua gulps.

Killua shudders at the memory, he couldn't walk that whole next day. Killua takes out the matches he brought and looks at them then at the box. He sighs and puts the matches back in his pocket, he then sits with his knees tucked under his arms and his head inbetween his legs as he groans. "I am so pathetic." He whispers to himself.

"You could never be pathetic." Gon says. Killua immediately jumps and lifts his head to look at Gon. He scrambles to his feet still looking at Gon astonished. "You-what- Get out!" Killua says quickly and completely flustered.

Gon raises an eyebrow. "We found this place together. If anything it should be neutral ground where we can talk."

Killua scoffs and shakes his head. "I would prefer not to speak at all actually."

Gon frowns but quickly replaces it with a fake smirk. "Oh want to do something physical?" He says smugly. Killua looks up and scowls at him. Gon regrets saying it but at this point anything to get a rise out of Killua, any sort of emotion is what he wants really.

"Nah I am good, I have a fiance for that." Killua states with a straight face. Gon clenches his fists and his jaw ticks as he glares at the ground before laughing darkly and nodding. "That was low."

Killua laughs incredulously. "That was low!? How about when you kissed me the another night!?" Killua shouts as he storms closer to Gon.

Gon gives Killua a smug look. "You weren't complaining in the moment." Killua licks his lip and tugs on his hair in frustration before glaring up at Gon, his eyes narrowed. "I do recall pushing you back. Now if you would excuse me. Your highness." Killua does a mock bow before storming off to the Waterfall to leave.

Gon grasps Killua's wrist. "Killua wait- I am sorry. It's just hard seeing you with someone else. I-It broke me" Gon whispers. Killua's breathing increases as he tries to ignore the burning sensation Gon's hand brings to his wrist, tears pooling in his eyes. His lip quivering as his eyes closes and he exhales a shaky breath. "Yeah well- you broke me first." Killua whispers before pulling his wrist out of Gon's grasp.

Gon exhales and swiftly turns Killua around. He cups Killua's cheeks, Killua sobs out at the contact, this is all too overwhelming. His eyes remain close not meeting Gon's eyes. "Please let me explain."

Killua chuckles dryly and shakes his head. "You had your chance to explain. Two years ago." Gon was stunned because it was the truth and he knows it. He could've. Should've said something then. Then all of this could've been avoided. Killua took this opportunity to make his escape. Rushing out of the the waterfall and sprinting through the forest to get back home. Killua only seems to breathe when he is out of the Forest. His pace finally slowing down as he makes his way back home.

When Killua makes it home he is greeted by Illumi. "Hey Turd face." Illumi smirks. Killua beams and immediately brings Illumi in for a hug. "Hey shitwad" Killua whispers back softly.

Illumi pulls back. "Hey what's wrong?" Killua tightens the hug. Illumi knows this means Killua will explain later and simply hugs back.

Gon sighs as he makes his way back to his horse and siblings. "You find what you were looking for?" Sebastian asks.

"That and more." Gon whispers softly.

A/n can we talk about how me watching Hamilton anmiatics is how I got motivation for this book. Lol
