Ch 5
Oh, golly goodness, gee. I am so very sorry for not updating last Saturday (or fixing my mistake of not updating soon after Saturday). As a better apology, I am updating right now. Yes, I know, it's not Saturday, but I have a little time so yee.
-Aurie
Mettaton gasped slightly and let go of you immediately. You stood there awkwardly with a small glow on your metal cheeks. Mettaton put his hand on his robotic chest before laughing breathily, he also had the glow on his face.
You apologized profusely before Mettaton smiled at you before running off somewhere, saying he had to do something important.
"(Y/N)TON? ARE YOU ALRIGHT? YOU LOOK ABOUT AS RED AS THE KETCHUP SANS DRINKS!" Papyrus put a boney hand on your shoulder plate, looking down into your (f/c) cameras that were better known as your eyes. He was so precious, you didn't want anything to happen to him.
Suddenly, Papyrus gasped, throwing you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and running as fast as he could away from Waterfall. "WOWIE, (Y/N), I JUST GOT AN IDEA!! YOU CAN MEET SANS!" You laughed as Papyrus went on about how this 'Sans' guy was a real lazybones and then laughing triumphantly at his own little pun.
After a while, in other words two minutes, Papyrus set you down outside of a cute little house with Christmas lights around it. There were two mailboxes, one of them being completely empty with the name 'Papyrus' elegantly painted across the side. The other mailbox was overflowing with letters, the box itself being bent with the name 'Sans' written in sloppy blue marker on the side.
Seeing that Papyrus's mailbox was empty filled you with sadness, but you didn't say anything about it. The tall skeleton opened the door with a slam and entered quickly, grabbing your metal arm as he briskly walked across the colorful carpet.
"SANS! WAKE UP! WHY MUST YOU ALWAYS SLEEP ON THE COUCH WHEN YOU HAVE A ROOM TO YOURSELF!?" Papyrus stood in front of a green couch. On the couch was a blob of blue, black, and white. There seemed to be feet with light pink slippers, but it was hard to tell.
The blob shifted and you saw another skeleton before your eyes. He was very short compared to Papyrus, but only a few inches shorter than you. He stood up and smiled lazily, slowly opening his eye sockets. You scanned him to see how that was even possible, but even your high tech motherboard couldn't figure it out.
"hey, bro. hey, robot, how's it goin'?" The short skeleton grinned to himself even wider as you began to speak. "Hello, skeleton, I am doing just fine, and you?" Sans laughed a little before scratching the back of his skull, never breaking eye contact with you as Papyrus stared intently at the two of you.
"oh, i'm wonderful. by the way, the name's sans. sans the skeleton, you seem pretty electrifying, what's your name?" With a giggle from you and a groan from Papyrus, you answered the question with a pun. "My name's (Y/n), you seem to be very humerus." Papyrus shrieked at you and Sans just kind of pat your shoulder with a chuckle. "SANS YOU ALREADY BROKE THEM!"
The moment was very precious, but it wasn't long until the front door opened again. This time, revealing a small being with brown hair and a cute sweater. They closed the door and approached you cautiously, motioning for you to bend down to their height. You did so and they spoke with hand movements, saying something you didn't understand. Sign language wasn't in your language database yet.
You smiled at them, and lifted them onto your knee. "I'm so sorry, kid, but I don't understand." They smiled brightly at you and instantly wrapped you in a hug. The sound of your voice had some kind of effect on them, for they began to cry. You could feel the tears running down your back and looked at the Skelebros in confusion.
They just stood there, staring at the two of you as you tried to better understand the situation.
