Chapter 4

When I opened my eyes, the sun was outside.
I sat up slowly, waking up to the throbbing pain in my head.
I groggily got off the bed, looking around for any signs of Izuku. Nothing. He must have left for school. My h/c hair getting in my face as I look down at my feet. I woke up with bees rather than butterflies in my stomach.
Images flashed onto my head as I attempted to contain the instant rehearsal of the moment alone, but my stomach had other plans in the morning. I groaned and opened my door after a whole hour of stopping the urge to vomit. I intended to walk towards the kitchen and eat three bowls of "Fruity Mights," Instead, I was surprised to see Izuku patiently waiting for me outside the door.

He looked up at me and grinned.
"I knew you'd be up early!"

"Congrats, now what?" I awkwardly chuckled as I rub my eyes, really trying to stop myself from crying.

He put his hands on my shoulders, leading me back into my hot room, and stayed at the frame of the door.
"I asked Mr. Aizawa if you could come with us on a trip, and after a lot, A LOT of asking, he finally agreed!"
I could feel a smile creep suddenly on my face.

"Really!?"

After everything that has happened, I couldn't deny feeling like the "old me"; someone who dreamed about being a part of the U.A. classroom. I'm desperate to get away from what happened. Hopefully, this is the distraction I needed.

"Yes!" He said, his heart leaping for joy.
"Oh my god, thank you!" I hugged him, wrapping my arms around his neck as an excited laugh escaped him.

"Now go get dressed." He said, placing his hand on my doorknob, about to close the door.

"Wait, Izuku!"
He opened the door with a " Hmm? "
and looked at me.
"How should I dress?"

"Casual."
He answered, holding a thumbs up for me to see.
"Thank you."

I walked out with a new outfit I had and smiled. (Pick any of the two)

"Like it?" I asked Izuku. He looked at me and grinned.
"You look very pretty, Y/n."

I smile and tug at his arm.
"Come on!"

He bled with joy and ran out the door, me following behind, leaving everything around me home, all worries alone for now, but I knew that as much as I want to run away, they were always going to come back.

—Ignored—

"Hey, guys!" Izuku smiled at the students in his class, giving them a wave.
They all waved at him, and when I walked in, I immediately get stared at.

"I didn't know she was hot!!" A purple little grape exclaimed, hearts in his eyes.
A tall man with glasses came forward and pushed the little guy away as he struggles and introduces himself, which caught me off guard.

" My name is Tenya Iida, President of Class 1-A. Please excuse Mineta for his inappropriate actions."
I shook his hand and forgave the purple grape, but felt a familiar glare at me. I turned to see Bakugo looking at me.

"Hey, Bakugo," I said, my voice sounding of no interest to his crunched facial features.
He growls, which was my cue to send him a smile.
The ride wasn't long, but it felt like it did with everyone arguing (especially Bakugo), and the teacher wasn't doing anything about it. I couldn't help but wonder the way this class works. ' How does Mr. Aizawa do this?! ' I asked myself with a regret-filled expression.
I was now sitting next to Kirishima, the boy I saw at the entrance exam. I could see how much he wanted to ask about me not getting accepted but resisted. Everyone was. I felt it in the air.
"Bakugo, you're so mean..." Uraraka said, hugging against me, which made me giggle how scared everyone is of this asshole, but some weren't like Todoroki. I lean against Kirishima and look at him to apologize, but he was minding the fact I was leaning on him.
"Hey Y/N!"

I turn to Ashido and smile.
"Yeah?"

"What's your quirk?!" She asked, getting close to me. People leaned in, including Iida and Uraraka.
"My quirk is Energy Control ."

"Sounds like something I could be experienced with ~," Denki said smugly. Oh yeah, I remember him, the wonky boy; I chuckle at the thought.

"I just absorb something's energy and gain more strength from it."

"How amazing! "

"And what's the strongest energy you could obtain?" Iida asked, wondering.

"Still haven't experienced that yet. Maybe an earthquake can really make me do some damage with just this," I said, pointing my finger up. I laughed as Uraraka squealed.
"Is something inside a person considered powerful energy?"

I sat still, taking in a glimpse of Bakugo, almost interested. I wondered and half-smiled.
"I guess. Believe it or not, everyone has energy. Whether it be good or bad strength, I'm able to absorb it easily, but it makes them weaker."

"I can't wait to see you use your quirk someday-"

"We're here." Everyone turned back to Mr. Aizawa in his sleeping bag, getting out of it and smacking his lips.
We all get off the bus and into the huge building called Unforeseen Simulation Joint. It
was amazing. Everyone let out awes as I did too. The pro hero Thirteen came out to talk to us. Izuku and I began to fangirl about it quietly, but as he was about to let the class start and train, he was interrupted when a huge portal appeared in the center of the USJ.

"What's That?" Kirishima asked, walking to get a closer look.

"Don't move!" Mr. Aizawa ordered.

Izuku and I looked towards him and saw he was getting ready, putting on a pair of goggles.
"Those are villains."

"What? Villains?"

"No way!"
Izuku looked angry and held my arm tightly, ready to protect me.
Mr. Aizawa ordered Thirteen to start the evacuation, and right when everyone began running, a huge portal was in front of the door.
Everything was changing in the atmosphere that led to Bakugo lighting off an explosion. I fell into the purple and black darkness, all of us getting sucked in.
Suddenly I land in someone's arms. I opened my eyes, seeing Bakugo.
"Tch."
He dropped me, falling onto the hard ground. I growled at him as he looks around where we were. I got up, glaring at him, and saw worried Kirishima next to me.
"Are you okay?!"

"I'm fine now, no thanks to him. Thank you."

I look around, and we're inside a collapsed building. "Are we in the Collapsed Zone?"
I ask, looking out the broken window.
I touched the glass and felt energy about to hit us; it was coming fast. To no surprise, a villain jumps into the place, pushing me to the ground. Its claws my clothes, opening its mouth. My eyes widen only to hear them screech. The screeching felt like it was making my ears bleed, the sound was thin, but my eyes could've popped out of my head. I endured the pains, holding the villain's forearms allowing Kirishima to punch the bastard.

Bakugo lifted me from the ground and pulled me close to him, his hand gripping my clothes.
"Don't get in my way, or I'll kill you." He cursed.

Bakugo threw me back into Kirishima's arms, I clenched my fists and dusted myself. I open my mouth to say something, but he swiftly turned face to face with me, cutting me off.

"There's a reason why you weren't accepted."

"Bakugo!"

I felt my heart fall to the ground and break in me. The sadness dreaded my mind, fighting off all the other emotions I felt. He turned away and continued forward as Kirishima came towards me, making me face him.

"He's just saying that to protect you, Y/n!"

I lowered my head and looked into Kirishima's red eyes while forcing a soft smile under the worry.
"It's alright. Let's get out of here. I'll follow."
Kirishima hesitated but went forward, checking up on me every minute.

Truth lingers in his Bakugo's voice. As everyone was fighting, I could hear screams, and my first thought was,
' Izuku! '
We finally ran to the center, and Bakugo's roars echoed through the place.
I see Izuku in the water, observing the conversation. I sneak my way around and run towards him in the water. I pull exhausted Mineta out of the water, but before I knew it, I turn around, seeing a hand coming towards me.
Everything around me slowed down because I knew I was going to die, but I looked into his eyes.
The same red-colored eyes that saved me yesterday and killed a man. Images from last night flashed through my thoughts like a strobe light—blood on the ground. My recollections twist and writhe. The man is dead. He was the bad guy.
I gained my energy and quickly dodged his grasp to grab Tsuyu and Izuku out of the water with all my strength.

I held onto Tsuyu on the ground and looked toward the criminal, breathing heavily.
"B-but h-how?"
He turned to me and stopped, taking in a good look at me.
Without warning, his pupils were filled with anger and charged towards me.

"LET GO OF HER!"

Izuku yelled, punching him, but punched the big bird thing instead.
My body felt exhausted, and everything around me was getting blurry. I lift myself as I absorb Tsuyu's energy, grabbing Tsuyu and Mineta close to me, protecting them.
I heard All Might's voice boom through my ears, and relief went through me.

I see a pro hero quickly come towards us; as I was being dragged away, I catch a glance of him. He was staring at me.
