Somehow the fates allowed us to see each other today. It was an accident, but you were as beautiful as always, and I was an unprepared wreck.

I was stunned. Frozen, like a block of ice that just wouldn't melt. I didn't hear about you coming back to Seoul.

You smiled at me, and it was like everything was okay.

In that moment, I knew I couldn't give up.

I almost called out your name, but I stopped myself so I wouldn't gain attention from the ones around us. And you came over to me anyway.

My heart was beating so fast, and I bet you knew. I bet you could see how nervous I was. I had waited for this moment forever.

You looked at me for a moment before saying something I'd have never expected.

"Do I know you? You look familiar."

I started crying. You started panicking.

I still don't know why. It makes me love you more.

I told you that I didn't think you'd ever remember me. I told you we went to school together.

Something seemed to click in your brain. You smiled again and shook your head, like you could picture it all just then.

"I wish we could catch up," you said, and I knew what was coming next, "But unfortunately I'm busy."

I didn't expect you to suggest later, to take my phone number and promise me you'll call.

I would have never expected that.

I just hope you don't break it.
