My Dearest, Philip,

                                      Thank you so much for your gift! It means the world to me that you would take time out of your hectic schedule to compose a poem for me. The poem itself was so sweet and brought a tear to my eye as I read it, I could hardly believe that it had been written for me, and me alone.

I shall treasure your gift always. It will always remain on my person and I promise to never part with it so long as I live. This means so much to me, Philip, words cannot express how grateful I am.

One day we will be able to express our feelings for each other in person, be it a month for now, or five years, it does not matter. I love you, Philip, and no distance will ever change that.

Notes;

This letter confirms our suspicions from before, confirming that Burr took the poem written by Hamilton onto the ship where she ultimately died. This also suggests that this is what happened to a large number of correspondence between the two of them, confirming our earlier thoughts on the disappearance of this documentation.

Not only does this letter confirm our earlier comments, but it also demonstrates the age of the participants. It is unlikely that Burr is meaningful when she says she 'love's Hamilton as she has just turned twelve and it is unlike she understands the true meaning of the word. However, that does not mean she is not genuine, though we have no way to confirm this. 

We also noticed a comma after 'dearest' within this letter, though it is possible this was a mistake.
