I wish that finding happiness was easy.

I wish it never faded away.

When happiness is taken from someone,

that gap is often filled with an

indescribable being

of frowns and heartache.

People have no problem hurting you;

but when they are hurt by someone else,

they act as if they've never seen,

nor heard of

pain, before.

They pretend to be the most innocent

human body on Earth;

as if they were above Jesus, himself.

Lord, please don't take the small percentage

of happiness that remains in me -

so much has been ripped away from my arms, already.
