Final Message
Christmas Eve.
Felix had always loved Christmas, just like any other kid. But now, without Shadow by his side, he hated it. He hated every day without her now.
He silently entered his room, narrowly escaping one of Bendy's drunken fits. His room looked normal, except for the blue envelope sticking in from under his window. He picked it up.
From Shadow
His eyes lit up. Maybe she was willing to forgive him for his mistake. Maybe she wanted to get back together!
But that only happened in fairy tales.
His heart shattered all over again as he read the red cursive writing. His body went numb as he fell to his knees with tears streaming from his eyes.
Dear Kittyboy,
Or I guess I should call you Felix now. I'm sorry I wasn't good enough for you. I'm sorry I'm so weak. I was too shy to admit everything I loved about you in person. In short, I'm S.c. and couldn't even tell you. Heh, it's funny that I'm crying while writing this. I thought this would be easier to say, since you let me go. I'll never stop loving you, and I've never stopped ever since I first laid my forsaken eyes on you. I know we couldn't finish our bucket list together, but I'm glad I helped you through most of it. You changed my life and, someday, I hope you'll find something good about me. Keep your promise and never forget me.
I'm finally happy.
I'm with the stars now.
Forever lovingly,
Starcat
Felix couldn't speak. He couldn't hear. He couldn't see anything except the blurred words through his tears, dripping onto the paper and merging with the other damp spots from Shadow's tears. He was shut off from from the rest of the world.
So shut off that he couldn't hear the news report on the TV.
'Local teen drowns herself in waterfall in Starbank Forest.'
