two. new werewolf?

( Chapter Two )
New werewolf?

ALLISON AND NATALIE HAD STUCK AROUND FOR THE LACROSSE PRACTICE, well, Natalie did because she had soccer practice the following hour after. But Allison pleaded that she just wanted to keep Nat company but she knew it was for Scott.

Stiles had spotted her, carrying a load of gear on his back, he quickly ran over to her—sliding on the bench next to her, crashing all the gear. Accidentally hitting Natalie with his lacrosse stick, she blinked with attitude , "You better have a good reason."

The boy scrunched his face, apologizing, "I am so sorry but we think we have a new werewolf in town."

Scott joined the twins, fixing his gloves. "How do you figure?" Natalie questioned, setting down her notebook—Allison leaning forward to hear.

"It was kind of like a scent, but I couldn't tell who it was," Scott explained. Supposedly, according to his werewolf senses, each of his close friends has a certain smell but this one was odd.

Stiles raised his eyebrows suggesting, "What if you can get him one-on-one? Would that help?"

Scott slowly nodded, looking at every lacrosse player that ran by, "Yeah." Scott and Stiles got up from the bench without another word, leaving the girls clueless.

"That was informative," Allison teased, earning a laugh from Natalie.

"I can't even catch up with their conversations anymore," Natalie remarked, "But hey, you're in love with one of them."

Before Allison could reply, Coach blew through his whistle shouting, "Let's go! Line it up! Faster! Make daddy proud."

Allison observed the scene, "Wait Scott's playing goal, he said he hated playing goal."

That made Natalie pop her head up. To see Scott bent over, flipping his lacrosse stick around a couple times as he got set. The pieces pulled together slowly. Stiles made Scott the goal to test who was werewolf. Natalie straightened her back, being proud of what she did in mind even though Allison still had no clue.

The sight wasn't pretty, Scott kept coming out of the goal box and slamming into anyone who had the ball. Which lead to coach screaming at Scott like no other, "McCall! You come out of that goal one more time and you'll be doing suicide runs till you die. It'll be the first ever suicide run that actually ends in a suicide. Got it?"

"Yes, Coach," Scott screamed back, heading towards his place in front of the goal.

Natalie looked to see who was next, seeing how ironic it was that whoever he was has the same number she did. "Whose fourteen?" Natalie whispered to Allison.

"His name is Isaac Lahey," Allison answered, causing Natalie's mouth to form an "o" shape. She knew Isaac. She noticed how Isaac almost looked angry, pissed off at the most. Stiles turned to his sister, displaying a frightened look as he pointed towards Isaac.

It couldn't be. Isaac was sweet as ever when she ran into him. He even had a black eye! Do werewolves get black eyes? The two, after the whistle, ran towards each other, appearing like they had forgetten they were playing a game. Once they rammed into each other, they landed in a crawling position.

"I think they found the wolf," Allison muttered, Natalie nodded quickly in agreement. Her brown eyes were locked on the field, not realizing that her father was walking down the field with two other deputies. "Nat, your dad is here."

Getting out of her trance, she locked eyes on her dad, letting out her unknown held breath. Sheriff requested for Issac, pulling him away from the team which caused practice to stop. Natalie and Allison got up from their seats to meet with the boys.

"His father's dead. They think he was murdered," Scott told Stiles as they walked to meet halfway.

"Are they saying he's a suspect?" Stiles asked.

Scott had a puzzled look on his face before shaking his head, "I'm not sure, why?"

"Because they can lock him in a holding cell for 24 hours," Stiles added.

                Scott's eyebrows furrowed, "Like, overnight?"

Natalie smacked her forehead with her hand, "You definitely can be a little slow sometimes Scott. He means, they are keeping him overnight during the full moon and as we know, he's a werewolf." Natalie seemed to shutter beneath her skin as she said it out loud, she didn't understand why knowing Isaac was a werewolf puzzled her so much since her own best friend is one!

Scott widened his eyes, "How good are these holding cells at holding people?"

"People, good," Stiles trailed off, "Werewolves, probably not that good."

"Guys, remember when I said I don't have the urge to maim and kill?" Scott stated, keeping his eye carefully on Isaac. Everyone nodded, answering his question, "Well, he does."

Taking a deep breath, Natalie finally peered  over to Isaac—only to see him staring back. Natalie turned away, shutting her eyes harshly. "This is going to be a fun night," She cautioned, latching onto Allison's arm.

NATALIE WAS PASSED OUT IN STILES FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OF HIS BLUE JEEP. Stiles had detention with the worst teacher ever, Mr Harris, so she knew it would be a long time. She could've gone home if she wanted too, but Stiles requested her to stay. Though she secretly wanted to go for Isaac as well.

Stiles swung the driver's door open, jumping in to start the engine. He poked at Natalie to wake her up. As she came back to the world, she instinctively started to push his hand away. Making Stiles speak up, "Wake up, we gotta save a werewolf."

"Scott?" Natalie mumbled rubbing her eyes.

"No, Isaac," Stiles replied, causing Natalie to suddenly be wide awake. His phone abruptly started ringing, clicking the button, he began"Hey, did you slow him down?"

"You could say that," Allison's muffled voice came through the phone that Stiles had it on speaker.

"All right, well, uh, I'm headed to the station right now," Stiles declared.

Natalie chimed in, "Where's Scott?"

"Isaac's"

"Does he have a plan?" Allison questioned.

"Yeah, but not a very good one. And unfortunately we don't really have time to come up with anything better," Stiles exclaimed, hanging up the phone as he ended his sentence.

"Well, bye Allison," Natalie sarcastically spoke, referring to her brothers end at the call.

Stiles shifted in his seat, "I don't know how to not awkwardly end a call okay." He ended his sentence with a laugh, breaking Natalie of her seriousness.

"OKAY, NOW THE KEYS TO EVERY CELL ARE IN A PASSWORD PROTECTED LOCKBOX IN MY FATHER'S OFFICE. The problem is getting past the front desk," Stiles rambled to Natalie and Derek once he was parked in front of the Sheriff's station.

"I'll distract her," Derek shurgged, exiting out the car right as Stiles grabbed a hold of his arm, stopping him.

"Whoa..whoa..whoa," Stiles repeated, "You?You're not going in there." Dereks mood changed, glaring at Stiles's hand on his shoulder, "I'm taking my hand off."

"I was exonerated," Derek reasoned, though it confused Natalie because she had no idea what that word meant.

Stiles aruged, "You're still a person of interest."

"An innocent person!"

That made Natalie snickered, "Yeah, right! Okay, what's your genius plan big guy." Stiles nodded, his eyebrows raised as he made eye contact with Derek.

Derek widened his eyes, making Stiles and Natalie seem stupid, "To distract her."

Natalie propped her arm on her leg, resting her head, "Uh-huh. How? By causally punching her in the face?"

Derek gazed over at her before dryly laughing, "By talking to her."

"Okay, all right. Give me a sample. What are you gonna open with?" Stiles pondered with dead silence after.

"And the crowd goes wild," Natalie said with sass laced behind her tone. She rolled her eyes and fell back on her seat, shutting her eyes again.

"Dead silence. That should work beautifully. Any other ideas?" Stiles added on to his sister's sarcasm.

The twins both being sarcastic at the same time was a force to be reckoned with, there was only two options. Whoever would laugh about it or they would get really mad about it.. and Derek was getting mad, "I'm thinking about punching you in the face."

Natalie, without mentioning, opened her car door and left to head inside. Once the arguing couple ( as Natalie called it ) noticed, they followed suit, even got in front of her to show they "weren't" slacking.

Derek crept into the front office, kind of creepily; the twins waited by the door because if they were seen Sheriff would be notified immediately. "Good evening, how could I help..you?" The lady greeted suspiciously.

"Hi," Derek send her a charming smile, "I had a question." Stiles crounched down with Natalie, pulling her passed desk lady. "Um, sorry, I'm a little—a little thrown. I wasn't really excepting someone.."

The lady had softly giggled, "Like me?"

Derek chucked, "Oh, I was gonna say "so incredibly beautiful" but, yeah, I guess that's the same thing."

As the twins entered the next room, Natalie shook her entire body like a bug was on her but she was just grossed out by Derek. Weirdly, Stiles did the same which made the two stop in confusion.

Stiles and Natalie made their way to their dads office. She waited by the door while Stiles fumbled for the key. "Houston, come with me," Stiles quickly said before Natalie could even respond. They harshly turned the corner, running into a deputy , "Whoa. Uh, just looking, um.." Stiles stuttered, his eyes falling to the arrow in the mans leg.

"Oh shit," Natalie muttered, turning on her heel to run away but the deputy got a hold of her and Stiles and pulled them towards the cells.

As they were basically getting dragged, Stiles ripped on the fire alarm, setting it off. The man dropped Natalie and Stiles on the floor, she scrambled to get up—helping Stiles as she did. Her eyes faintly fell on the open cell in front of her. Before the two could have done anything, a wolf who was clearly Isaac tackled him over.

Natalie grabbed a hold of Stiles, pulling him to the other side of the room. Isaac almost knocked out the hunter immediately and didn't waste time to turn to Natalie and Stiles. The girl sort of pushed Stiles behind her, standing in front of him like she

could have done anything to protect him—she hasn't no supernatural.

Issac's yellow eye's stayed glued on Natalie, for some reason he couldn't step closer to them. Natalie tilted her head, observing the wolfed out Issac. He growled, but he didn't move. But Stiles moved an inch and Issac moved forward.

Out of nowhere, Derek stepped in front of the two teen, roaring at Isaac, making him hide in a corner. Stiles stared at Derek in shock, he pulled Natalie in a hug before questioning, "How'd you do that?"

"I'm the Alpha," Derek announced.
