002 🪁 | FONTS AND PSDS

BUILDING an arsenal of reliable fonts and PSDs is SO crucial. I often find myself going back to the same ones time and time again because they simply never let me down. However, what works for me might not work for you, so that's always something to keep in mind <3

i. ִֶָ˚⊹ DAFONT !

Dafont is the magnum opus of font websites▬I'm being so serious right now. If you're looking for a specific style then chances are you'll find it there.

Most of the time, if it's for a fandom like Harry Potter or Marvel, I'll try to use the same font found on their movie posters, since I personally think it often ties the whole cover's aesthetic together.

However, if I don't have something like that to draw from and I'm struggling to find the right font for whatever I'm making, I'll browse Pinterest for some inspo▬since a lot of people make font charts to showcase different styles in action.

ii. ִֶָ˚⊹ DEVIANTART !

DeviantArt is gonna be your best friend when it comes to accumulating a bunch of PSDs. They'll do a lot of the colour correction for you (to an extent) and ultimately help tie everything in your cover, manip, or gif together; and the best part is that you can find PSDs curated for specific fandoms▬like a Harry Potter Gryffindor PSD, for example.

Seriously, when I say that the right PSD will make your life ten times easier, I mean it
