Marinette was awoken by her alarm clock, she laid there for a few moments before hitting 'dismissal'. The bluenette rubbed her temples before pushing the covers off with her feet.

She took in a deep breath before pausing. What was that smell? She glanced around her room, examining it and seeing where it was coming from. But apparently the source was gone. What lingered in the air seemed to be a mixture of Paris and some sort of flower that she couldn't put her finger on.

She shrugged, but couldn't resist. She tasted the air again. Maybe her father had gotten new cologne- but why would the man enter her room?

After taking a shower, she changed into some comfortable clothes and made her way downstairs, enjoying the smell of fresh baked croissants. "Hi Mama, hi Papa." She greeted her parents, stealing a croissant off the plate.

"I want to be early today! Wish me luck!" She concluded, picking up her school bag. Unaware that her sketchbook had been stuffed in. Her mother waved, sending Marinette off.

She thought about all the times she had been late to her old school, tardy. Detention. But.. This wouldn't happen in her new school, right? She had a new friend. Alya, was it?

She took bites out of the croissant on her way to school, which wasn't far away at all. It was just across the street.. Why did her mother want to drive her again? Didn't Chat Noir usually come out at night?

As she approached the school, finishing her croissant- she was greeted by Alya, who waved when she approached. "Hey girl, what class do you have first today?" Alya questioned, Marinette glanced down at her schedule, looking over it.

"Physics. The one subject im terrible at." Marinette huffed, groaning in dismay. Alya smirked, before pulling out her schedule.

"Physics." Alya declared as Marinette examined the piece of paper. Marinette chuckled, before walking to class with her newly found friend.

She made her way to lunch, bag in hand as she walked. Chloé managed to trip her, sending her and her bag to the floor. Her sketchbook slid out, catching Marinette's eyes.

"I brought my sketchbook?" She questioned to nobody in particular. She reached for it, seeing some sort of notecard sticking out. Curiously, she slipped it out and read it. Gasping.

Chloé tried to get a glimpse as Marinette crunched it into a ball and slipped it inside her pocket. "Whatcha got there Mari-trash?" The second day of school, and she was already being bullied.

"Just a reminder to uh get supplies for my family." She spoke nervously, trying to avoid eye contact as she picked herself up.

As she ate her lunch, thoughts pierced her mind. Chat Noir? Was she on his list? She poked at her food, would she have a conversation with this- 'Chat Noir'?

The bell rang, signalling that lunch was over. As she walked back to class, she attempted to focused and eventually succeeded.

She was home now, she found herself researching Chat Noir again. Apparently, he wasn't flirty. Just sarcastic.

He's watching. She reminded herself, feeling goose bumps prick her skin. What if he found out she was researching him? Say 'curiosity killed the princess?'

She glanced around her room, eyes wide. How did he even get in? Her gaze zoomed to the hatch above her bed. I didn't lock it last night, did I? She should probably lock it now that the criminal had his eyes on her.

Hesitantly, she got up, examining her room before locking her hatch. How would he get it now? His scent barely lingered in the air, and Marinette's guess was that her room was now his territory.

And to warn other strangers off, he needed to renew his scents. She was honesty surprised, was his scent that strong? Or was her sense of smell fantastic?

The time came- she was exhausted. She needed sleep, but she didn't have to worry about Chat anymore, right? She locked her hatch. She was fine.

Has she fell asleep, something fidgeted with the lock of the hatch- eventually piercing it open. The stray carefully leaped down onto her bed, careful not to wake her.

He examined her, smiling to himself as he felt the warmth of her body. "Silly princess." He mumbled softly into her ear, making her flinch, rubbing her ear.

Letting out a low chuckle, he leaped down. He had left the pen from the previous night at her house. He pulled it out of hiding and wrote a letter.

     Dear Princess,
It is me again. It wasn't very nice of you to lock a stray out, just to let you know, I have claws. I see your bad at physics, mm. Also, dear princess, you forgot to do your physics homework. Seeing as it was probably my fault- I did it fur you. Your welcome. But, you'll have to pay me back.
       Sincerely, your knight.

He placed the homework in her bag, and slipped the notecard between her sewing supplies. As he climbed up the stairs, he mumbled.

"Goodnight Princess." He spoke before leaping out of her room, closing the hatch above her.
