*Mielle's POV*

I stayed in the library to assist the librarian but I ended up reading a mystery novel, since the librarian said that she doesn't need my help. Today is my free day but I have to be at school due to my tutoring and student assistant duties.

"Di ba sya yun?"

"OMG, sya nga"

"Di naman sila bagay eh"

I tried to ignore the girls' whispering voices and focused on reading, but of course I have this habit of eavesdropping that's why I'm secretly listening to them.

"Spotted silang magkasama palagi, nahuli nga sila sa back building na naghahalikan eh"

"Grabe! Hindi ba nila alam na bawal yung PDA dito?"

My forehead creased as I listened to their senseless chats. I decided to stand up and walk away from them, baka masabihan pa nila akong chismosa. I walked towards the corner of the library—this is my favorite spot here, since walang masyadong tao dito dahil restricted area ito. I sat on the floor and continued reading.

"Hihihi, ano ka ba? Bawal dito"

"Shhh"

There goes my eavesdropping habit and this time it's with my curiosity, they teamed up to make me stand up and look where those voices came from. I peeked behind the bookshelves and my eyes widened as I saw a guy and a girl, leaning on the shelf as if they were about to kiss!

I quickly averted my gaze. Damn them! They should get a room instead of doing it in the restricted area of the library! Umalis na ako sa area na yun. I sat on one of the tables in the corner. Seeing them in that position makes me remember of what happened between me and the beast!

~Flashback~

"Love, huh?" he said while he's back facing me then he started walking away.

I was left in the hallway—dumbfounded. What the hell is his problem? I rolled my eyes then I started walking on the opposite direction of that beast. I checked my backpack as I walk, baka may napkin akong dala, but then someone grabbed my arms! Uso ba yung ganyan ngayon? Hilahan ng braso?!

I was surprised to the beast, standing in front of me while holding my left arm.

"What?" I asked calmly.

His expression became dark then he started dragging me with him. What the hell?! I was about to protest but he turned his dark gaze at me and it made me flinched.

Damn! What with his scary expression? It's not even Halloween! There are students on the hallway, who's already whispering—probably about us. News flash! The council president is dragging the hell out of his secretary in the hallway wearing his super beastly expression. Will he kill his secretary for no apparent reason or he just really wanted to drag the hell out of her?

I rolled my eyes at that thought, and then I realized na nakatigil na pala kami—in front of the trash bin. Now what? Mukha ba akong basura sa kanya, that's why he decided to throw me away?

He faced me then he removed the airhead's coat around my waist then tinapon nya sa trash bin yung coat. What the hell?! My hands automatically flew on the back part of my skirt to hide the blood stains. I glared at this beast.

"What is your problem?!" I hissed at him.

"Bakit ba kasi naka type B uniform ka?!" he hissed back at me.

Kasalanan ko bang mainit ngayon? I chose to wear the type B uniform since it doesn't need to use the coat-- White long sleeves and a bow tie, sapat na. Dalawa ang girls' uniform—type A and type B. Type A requires wearing a coat on top of the white long sleeves and a bow tie.

"Mainit kasi" I answered.

He glared at me then hinubad nya yung coat nya, he was about to wrap his coat on my waist but my hands are still on the back of my skirt.

"Do you want me to tie your hands as well?" he asked.

I raised my hands in surrender, and then he tied his coat around my waist. I'm just staring at him as he checks the coat on my waist. His eyes met mine but then he quickly look away.

"That's better" he said as he cleared his throat.

What?!

He grabs my hand! Then he started dragging me, but not in a rude manner—he's just pulling me by the hand. My forehead creased, now what is he playing? I don't freaking get him!

"Hey bea—"

"Hey, may extra skirt ka ba?" he asked on the phone.

He turned his gaze at me.

"Waistline?" he asked.

"Uh...24" I answered.

"I need a skirt with a 24 waistline. I need it now" he said on the phone then he ended the call.

Hinila nya ako palabas ng main building, then pinaupo nya ako sa bench.

"Wait here" he commanded. Hindi na ako nakapagsalita dahil nilayasan na agad nya ako. Damn him!

He run towards his car then umalis na. I sat alone here on the bench, thinking about the beast and his freaking actions! Umiling na lang ako, I shouldn't put meaning on his actions, for sure hindi lang nya sa akin ginawa 'to and for the record, he's still head over heels towards Arielle.

"Mielle!"

Napalingon ako sa tumawag sa akin and then I saw Nadia, running towards me—may dala syang paperbag and her phone is still on her ears.

"Kainis na Clyde yan, hindi sumasagot!" reklamo nya then umupo sya sa tabi ko.

"Nakita mo ba si Clyde? Pinapunta nya kasi ako dito para sa skirt eh" she asked.

"Umalis sya" I said.

Her gaze landed on the beast's coat on my waist then she smiled meaningfully. She handed me the paperbag, then she nudge me.

"Kayo ah" she said.

"What?" I asked.

"Kaya pala nagpabili ng skirt si Clyde, para sayo pala. Wala na kasi akong extra skirt kaya nagtext sya sa akin na bumili na lang ako" she said then she grinned at me.

Binilihan nya ako ng skirt?! Nadia starts shaking her head while she's chuckling.

"Iba na yaaaaaaan~" she said in a singing tone.

"He's just acting nice; he doesn't care about me Nadia. Si Arielle pa rin yung gusto nya" I said in a bored manner.

"Ahh kaya pala binalik mo yung motor kay Alex" she said then I nodded.

"Pero iba kasi yung nakikita ko eh" she added habang nakatingin sya sa malayo. Lumingon ako then I saw the beast walking towards us—may dala din syang paperbag.

"If he doesn't care about you, he wouldn't go this far just because you have your period" she said in a low tone.

"Nadia" the beast said.

"Eto na yung skirt na pinabili mo" Nadia said then she pointed the paperbag that I'm holding.

"Thank you, one last favor. Pwede mo bang samahan si Devil sa CR?" the beast asked.

I glared at him, I can handle myself you beast! It's not like hindi ako marunong magpalit! Damn him!

"Ano—may klase pa kasi ako, lumabas lang ako kasi mukhang emergency" Nadia said.

"Sige! Una na ako,Bye!" she said then she run away from us.

Naiwan kami nung beast dito. Itatanong ko sana kung ano yung dala nya pero hinila na naman nya ako. He's holding my hand again!

"I can walk, alone" I hissed pero hindi nya ako binibitawan.

We stopped in front of the CR, he motioned me to enter as he handed me the paperbag. Pumasok na ako sa loob, I made sure na nakalock yung pinto. Nilapag ko yung paperbags sa gilid, I checked the beast's paperbag, what the hell?!

The bag contains feminine wipes, sanitary napkins and underwear. WHAT THE HELL?! Where did he get these things?!

*knocks*

"Wag ka ng maarte, magpalit ka na dyan" he said.

I rolled my eyes then I tied my hair into a bun then I enter a cubicle, did my things—change my undies and such. Kinuha ko yung paperbag na dala ni Nadia, I fished the skirt then may nalaglag na susi, it's the motorcycle keys. Sinuot ko na yung skirt that's when I noticed, it's too short!

Well at least nakapagpalit na ako. Inayos ko yung coat nung beast then nilagay ko sa paperbag kasama nung mga sanitary napkins at feminine wipes na binili nya, nilagay ko sa backpack ko yung skirt ko.

Lumabas na ako then nakita ko yung beast, nakasandal sya sa wall then nakayuko.

"How the hell did you know all those things?" I asked as I hand him the paperbag containing his coat. His gaze went up at napatingin ulit sya sa skirt ko.

Maybe because he also did these things to Arielle or to his exes. Yeah right.

"Wag kang magisip ng kung ano dyan, I have a mom that's why I know these things. You should consider yourself lucky because this was the first time I did this" he said.

"Your skirt is too short" he said then he 'tsked'

There's this strange feeling inside my stomach—probably because I'm hungry yeah right I'm hungry. We started walking out of this long hallway.

"May mga kailangan ba akong gawin?" he asked referring to his daily schedule.

I checked my bag and got my organizer, kinuha nung beast yung bag ko then sinakbit nya yun sa likod nya. I glared at him but then naisip ko na wala na akong dala—it's convenient for me.

Tinignan ko yung schedule then I turn my gaze at him as we walk.

"You have an hour and a half vacant time before your basketball training" I said then sinara ko yung organizer ko.

"So I'm stuck with you?" he asked.

Ha! So what does he mean by that?

"Pwede ka namang umalis" I said.

"Wala naman akong pupuntahan" he said.

He sighed.

"Guess I'm stuck with you, how unfortunate am I" he said na parang luging lugi sya na kasama nya ako!

What the hell? If you only knew me beast, you should be honored to be able to walk by my side and to drag me, pull me, grab my arms in a rude way. It's an honor.

"You can go, I'll stay at the discussion area in the finance building" I said.

"If I know makikipagkita ka lang dun sa 'love' mo" he said, sounding like a whisper pero narinig ko pa rin.

"What did you just say?" I asked.

"Nothing" he said then he shrugs.

I glared at him.

"Akala ko hindi kayo close? Pero 'love' yung tawag nya sayo" he said.

Come on, you beast! Konti na lang iisipin kong nagseselos ka. Damn me! Ang assuming ko.

"Trust me, I just met him the other day" I said.

"Stay away from him" he said.

Napalingon ako sa kanya, he's already staring at me with a serious expression on his face. Why does he want me to stay away from that airhead? Hindi ba kuya yun ni Arielle?

"He's a total jerk, a playboy, he likes to play with girls' heart just to get inside their pants" he said then he cringed and so do i.

I'm fully aware of what kind of guy the airhead is, he doesn't have to remind me. Besides, hindi naman ako ang lumalapit eh.

"What if sya yung lumapit sa akin?" I asked.

"Just stay away from him" he said in a firm tone almost sound like a command.

The beast suddenly held my hands, and then he pulled me towards the back part of the main building. Maraming puno dito sa likod ng building, mukha na ngang gubat pero refreshing dito, mahangin. I suddenly want to pick a spot here para dito ako tatambay.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

Napatingin sya sa kamay naming magkahawak kaya bigla syang napabitaw. I smirked at his actions, does that mean, hindi nya sinasadyang hawakan ang kamay ko?

"Shortcut to papuntang finance building" he answered.

I nodded then silence filled the atmosphere, all I can here is the sound of the trees as the wind passed through them. I closed my eyes for a moment but then bigla na lang may humila ng buhok ko. I glared at the beast beside me. Ang hilig nyang gawin yun!—hihilahin yung tali ko sa buhok.

"What is your problem?!" I asked.

"Just let your hair fall into place, mas bagay sayo" he said.

Inunahan ko syang maglakad, damn him! I can't understand that beast! I can't understand my heart, it's beating so freaking fast!

"Aray!"

I stopped and turned my gaze at him, mukhang napuwing sya kaya yung isang kamay nya nasa mata nya. I walked towards him, I immediately grab his face, and his hands fall on his side.

"Scratching won't do any help, it will just irritate your eyes" I said then he flinched. His eyes are locked on mine. Hinila ko sya papalapit sa akin, his eyes widened. I tiptoed then I gently blow the dust away from his eyes.

"Lulu" he whispered.

Bigla akong napalayo sa kanya then I continued walking. Damn! I feel like someone just punches my heart, making it hard for me to breathe. Damn it! It's been a long time since I last heard of that name—and I just heard it from the beast.

I continued walking and was about to turn right but then my eyes widened at bigla akong napaharap kay beast, gulat din syang napatingin sa akin. I quickly pinned him against the wall, his eyes widened.

Damn he can't see Arielle and Alexandrei at this moment—they are actually about to kiss. Err.

"Ano ba y—"

I placed my hands on his mouth and used my other hand to make a 'shh' sign. His forehead creased then he pushed me and I ended up pinned against the wall! What the hell?! I'm saving him from a massive heartache!

He lean his head backwards para makasilip sya.

Oh fck it! Bahala na.

I placed both of my hands at the back of his head then I pulled his face close to me, our noses met. We're just staring at each other's eyes, the difference is he's standing frozen while I—I'm freaking lost through his dark brown eyes.

"Eyes on me, beast" I whispered against his lips. One wrong move, magtatama talaga ang mga labi namin.

Just look what I'm willing to do for you to save you from heartache.

*snaps...snaps*

"Ms. Buenavista, kanina pa kita tinatawag"

Umiling ako then inayos ko yung specs ko, I saw Ms. Chaves sitting in front of me. She's smiling from ear to ear.

"Ganyan ba talaga pag in love? Natutulala na lang?" she asked.

"Po?" I asked.

She chuckled.

"You two make a really cute couple. I've never seen him date other girls, pero ikaw na pala yung girlfriend nya. Bagay na bagay kayo, both of you are academic achievers, I know you can handle your relationship well. Just don't mind the others, naiinggit lang sila" she said.

Uh...I don't get it. What is she talking about?

"I'm rooting for the two of you, I'm happy to know that you and Clyde are in a relationship" she said then she left me dumbfounded.

Since when did I have a relationship with someone? What the hell? WITH CLYDE?! WITH THAT BEAST!? HOW DID I END UP HAVING A RELATIONSHIP WITH THAT BEAST?!

I quickly fished my phone from my pocket and dialed his number. It's ringing but he's not answering! Napatigil ako nung may marinig akong phone na nagriring, I ended my phone call then the ringing stops. I dialed the beast's number again then narinig ko na naman yung ringing sound.

Sinundan ko lang yung ringing sound then I stopped near the tables, may isang tao dun na nakahoodie while his head rested on the table. I sat in front of him.

"Sleeping isn't allowed here in the library" I said.

Napa-angat yung tingin nya then his eyes widened at mas hinila pa nya yung hood nya.

"We can't be seen together, devil" he said.

My forehead creased, what the hell is he talking about? Oh...right, I'm in a relationship with him. My eyes widened, kaya ko nga pala sya hinahap para tanungin sya about dun!

"What the hell happened?" I asked.

Kinuha nya yung libro ko then binuksan nya yun tapos tinakip nya sa half ng mukha nya.

"Seriously? Wala bang internet sa bahay ni Drei? Bakit hindi mo alam?" he asked in an annoyed tone.

"I'm not into internet, I'd rather read books instead of reading toxic posts in facebook or twitter" I said.

He rolled his eyes at me, then he check his phone after several clicks he handed me his phone.

CLYDE ALONZO AND MIELLE BUENAVISTA IS IN A RELATIONSHIP!

I scrolled down to the site; I didn't bother reading the article. My eyes widened as I saw our pictures on the site. The first picture was when the beast is tying his coat on my waist, the next one was when the beast pulled me by the hand, the third one was a back shot of me and the beast while he's carrying my bag, the next one was when I blew the dust from his eyes and the last one was when I pulled his face near me, making it look like we're going to kiss!

"This is—this is bullshit" I said.

I suddenly want to banish away from here, feeling ko ako yung pinaguusapan pag may naririnig akong nagbubulungan, then I remembered those girls a while ago, they were freaking talking about me!

"Hoy, hindi lang ikaw yung kasama sa issue, so don't act as if you're the only one involve in this crap" he said.

"It's not my fault na nakuhaan tayo ng pictures and then nagisip na sila ng kung ano-ano" I said as I rolled my eyes.

Sanay na akong ma-issue eh, I usually ignore those posts and articles about me, dahil hindi naman totoo. But now, since the beast is involved, I can't seem to ignore those posts kahit hindi naman totoo.

"What are we going to do now? Hindi ko naman kayang ipabura yung website na yun, obviously hindi sya hawak ng school dahil underground website yun, gawa ng mga students dito" he asked.

I can immediately make that site deleted from the World Wide Web but it involves using cash and I don't want to waste my money just because of this one damned website!

"Let's just ignore the site" I said.

"What?! Kalat sa buong school na I'm in a relationship with you and you just want me to ignore that?!" he asked.

Wow!

"Why does it sounds like na luging lugi ka pa about that rumor that you're in a relationship with me?" I asked.

Unbelievable! Ang kapal ng mukha nya! Pinapalabas nya bang I'm not worthy of being his girlfriend at diring diri sya?

He groaned in frustration at napayuko na lang ulit sa table. I rolled my eyes at him, then napansin kong he's not in his uniform then naalala kong may tryouts pala sila ngayon.

"What are you doing here? My tryouts kayo" I asked.

He mumbled something pero hindi ko naintindihan dahil nakayuko sya sa table.

*Bzzzt...Bzzzt...Bzzzt*

Alex Calling...

"Hello?" I greeted.

Napaangat yung tingin nung beast sa akin.

["Nandyan si Clyde?"] Alex asked.

"Yeah" I answered.

["Dalhin mo sya dito, please. Kailangan namin sya ngayon"] Alex said.

"Fine" I said then I ended the call.

I turn my gaze at the beast, nakakunot yung noo nya habang nakatingin sa akin. What's with him!?

"Bakit pag ako yung tumatawag sayo, 'oh?' yung sagot mo pero sa iba 'hello?'?" he asked.

Just what the hell is his problem?

"Nevermind, sino yung tumawag sayo? Si 'love' ba?" he asked.

I rolled my eyes at him. He really doesn't know the word 'move on'.

"Si Alex, he told me to bring you at the gym, they need you there" I said.

"Ayoko" he said almost sounding like a child who's about to throw his tantrums.

I stood up from my seat then hinila ko sya patayo, he glared at me but then I pulled his right hand and twisted it towards his back.

"Aray!" reklamo nya.

I hit his head dahil nasa library kami, he's not allowed to make some noise here! I pushed him out of the library, every time na sinusubukan nyang kumawala mas lalo ko lang tini-twist yung braso nya.

"Let me go, you devil!" he shouted.

Napapalingon na sa amin yung mga students, bahala sila sa kung anong iisipin nila. I don't care.

"I don't want to let you go, you beast" I said then i smirked.

Mas lalong nagbulungan yung mga tao sa paligid namin. The beast is just cursing the hell out of me kaya naman I decided to let his arms go but not his hands, I pulled him towards the gymnasium as we run napapalingon sa amin yung mga tao. I glanced at the beast, puzzled expression was written on his face.

I pushed the double doors of the gym then I pushed the beast towards them. Gulat na gulat naman sila, nung makita nila kaming magkasama.

"So the rumors are true?" the cheerleader asked.

No one dared to speak. Natahimik yung buong gymnasium dahil sa amin. Err.

"Nope. The rumors aren't true. Right, love?"

I stood frozen as the airhead placed his arms around my shoulders. I glared at him then tinaas nya yung kamay nya in surrender.

"Kilala mo sya, Lance?" the other cheerleader asked.

The airhead just smirked as he glanced at me.

"Bakit ba pinapunta nyo ako dito?" the beast asked, sounding irritated.

"Para i-welcome yung bagong member ng team" Thor answered.

The beast turns his gaze at this airhead beside me, and then he laughed sarcastically.

"Well then, welcome to the team" the beast said in a sarcastic way as he remove his hoodie.

"Welcome to the team" Alexandrei said.

"Thanks Captain, so may I go out now?" the airhead asked.

Alexandrei just nodded, and then the other team members reminded the airhead about their training schedule. I was about to walk my way out of the gymnasium but then bigla akong inakbayan nung airhead.

"Wait for me, love" he said.

Sisikuhin ko sana sya pero nasalag nya, then he moved closer to me.

"I can drop the bomb here, Ms. Dela Rosa" he whispered.

I rolled my eyes at him, napalingon pa ako sa beast—he's glaring at us, ang higpit din ng pagkakahawak nya sa hoodie nya. The airhead removed his arms around me then he grab my hand then hinila na nya ako palabas.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

"You're my newest tutor, love." he answered.

What? Wala akong alam na may tuturuan pala ako! What the hell? baka bina-blackmail lang ako nito, ugh! Hinila nya ako papunta sa sasakyan nya, he opened his car door for me at inalalayan nya ako papasok sa loob. Nilagay nya sa backseat yung gamit nya then sumakay na rin sa loob.

"Yung mga gamit ko, nasa main building pa" I said trying to calm myself pero kanina ko pa gustong sapakin tong airhead na to!

"No problem" he said then he smirked at me.

Nagsimula na syang magdrive then we stopped in front of the main building, nakita ko naman yung isang student assistant din na nakatayo then dala dala nya yung mga gamit ko. The airhead just opened his window then inabot na nung babae yung mga gamit ko.

"Thanks, babe" the airhead said then he winked at the girl.

It's disgusting. I swear.

He resume on driving, then may binigay syang folder sa akin. Binuksan ko yun then binasa ko yung laman.

"From this day forward, I hereby proclaim that you, Ms. Dela Rosa, will be my private tutor" he said. I opened my window then tinapon ko sa labas yung folder.

He just laughed his ass out as he drives.

"Ayoko" I said in a firm tone.

"You see masyado ka ng naiissue. Paano kung idagdag ko pa na you're not really the Mielle Buenavista that everyone knows?" he asked.

Hindi na ako nakasagot.

"Masisira na yung real name mo, madudumihan ang Empire and lastly babalik ka sa mansion nyo, paano na lang yung diploma na gusto mong makuha?" he asked.

"I'm not expecting that you'd be this childish, buti na lang hindi ako sumipot sa kasal natin. If I did, I would probably be married to a childish man. You can't handle the Empire" I said in my usual cold tone.

"Who told you that I'll be handling the Empire alone? Of course, you're my wife I'll let you handle your own Empire. Too bad hindi natuloy ang kasal, you missed your chance to have a super handsome husband and you also missed your chance in handling the Empire" he said.

I sighed. I don't want to marry a man I just met. Hindi ko sya pinansin hanggang sa tumigil kami sa harap ng bahay nila, nakababa na sya pero nasa passenger seat pa rin ako. He opened the door for me.

"Bukas na lang kita tuturuan" I said in a low tone.

"Oops, did I step on a landmine? Sorry, not sorry but you still have to do my homework in Calculus" he said then hinila nya ako pababa.

"Paano ka nakapasok ng College?" I asked as I glared at him.

"I enrolled, duuuuuh" he said then nauna syang pumasok sa loob. Sumunod na lang ako sa kanya, for sure gagabihin ako ng uwi.

Pumasok ako sa bahay nila, I saw Arielle jaw dropped as she walked down the stairs nung makita nya ako. Muntik pa nyang mabitawan yung phone na hawak nya, natauhan naman sya nung marinig nyang tumawa yung airhead.

"Omo!"

Napalingon ako sa nagsalita—a woman, probably it's their mom.

"Omo! Omo! Omo! Lance, is she your girlfriend?" the woman asked.

"Hindi po, I'm his tutor" I said.

"I'm Lance and Arielle's mom, tuturuan mo ba ngayon si Lance?" she asked.

The airhead pulled me.

"Yes, mom. Tuturuan nya ako" he said.

"Pero may dinner tayo kasama nung business partners nyo di ba, mom?" Arielle asked.

"Bukas na lang kita tuturuan" I said as I faced the airhead.

"Oo nga Lance, bukas ka na lang nya tuturuan" his mom said.

"Hija, why don't you come with us?" she asked.

I bowed my head, ano ba tong pinasok ko? Damn it!

"I apologize for my informalities, Mrs. Guevarra. I'm Mielle Buenavista, sorry but I think that dinner is private, I shouldn't be there" I said.

She smiled at me widely then she clings to my arms.

"Omo Lance! I like her naaaa! Come with us, hija please" she said.

"Don't you think it's rude to turn down my mom's invite?" the airhead asked.

Napayuko na lang ako. Paano ako makakalabas dito?

"Arielle, will lend you a dress" Mrs. Guevarra said.

Think of a good excuse! Damn it!

"Mielle, tara na" napalingon ako kay Arielle. Err. It's awkward.

I stood frozen pero lumapit na sya then hinila nya ako pataas, papunta sa room nya.

"My mom won't take a 'no' for an answer. Mukhang natuwa pa sayo, since ikaw lang yung dinala ni Kuya na babae dito" she said as she open her room for me.

Pumasok sya sa walk-in closet nya then hinanapan ako ng dress. I scanned her whole room, then I noticed at huge teddy bear near the book shelf, umupo ako sa bear—it's comfy, it's a perfect place to read.

"Clyde gave me that bear" Arielle said kaya bigla akong napatayo, then tinignan ko yung malaking bear—the beast gave her that? He really loves Arielle.

Nilapag nya yung dalawang dress sa higaan nya, yung isa light blue then the other one is navy blue.

"Puro different shades of blue yung dress ko, eto na lang sayo, malaki kasi masyado yung ibang dress ko sayo eh" she said as she hand me the navy blue body con dress.

"Thanks" I said.

It's awkward~~~

Pumasok ulit sya sa walk-in closet nya para magbihis, sinuot ko na din yung dress na pinahiram nya—it fits me perfectly, I just don't like the off shoulder part. Err. Lumabas na sya suot yung light blue dress—bagay sa kanya.

"Come here, aayusan kita" I said then I motioned her to sit in front of the vanity mirror.

Sumunod naman sya sa akin. I applied light make up on her face, napansin kong naiilang sya sa akin hindi nya siguro alam kung paano sya kikilos sa harap ko, knowing that I was supposed to be her sister-in-law.

"Loosen up, Arielle you're so stiff. Kilala mo na kung sino ako, you don't have to be this awkward" I said as I put a blush on her face.

She sighed.

"Feeling ko kasi, hindi maganda yung pagkakakilala natin eh" she said.

"Ikaw lang nagiisip nyan" I said then I tap her shoulders, she faced the mirror then she smiled at me. She's not bad at all, may times lang talaga na may pagka bitch sya.

"Thanks" she said, then tumayo na sya.

I applied light make up as well, hindi ko na inayos yung buhok ko. I wore my flat shoes, hindi naman kasi kasya sa akin yung heels ni Arielle. Lumabas na kami ng room nya then nasa baba na pala sila, nakita ko yung dad ni Arielle, he's smiling at me ganon din yung mom ni Arielle.

Damn it! It's my mother and father-in-law, kung natuloy lang yung kasal.

I saw the airhead staring at me with a smirk on his face.

"She's Mielle, Dad. My tutor" the airhead said.

"Tutor lang ba talaga? I'm please to meet you, hija" his dad said.

"Likewise, Sir" I said then I smiled at him.

"Omo! Ang ganda mo, hijaaaaa" Mrs. Guevarra said.

Napayuko na lang ako hiya. Nauna na sila Mr. and Mrs. Guevarra sa sasakyan kasama si Arielle, naiwan naman kami nung airhead dito sa sala, hinila nya ako paupo bigla syang lumuhod then kinuha nya yung box sa gilid—a shoebox.

"Consider this as a super late birthday gift" he said as he opens the box.

It's a silver pumps, sinuot nya sa akin then he smirk kasi tama yung sukat sa paa ko. I'm sure expert na sya sa ganito, dahil marami na syang babaeng nabigyan ng sapatos. Tsh.

He offered his arms for me pero nilagpasan ko lang sya, I heard him chuckled then sumunod sya sa akin. Sumakay na ako sa passenger seat then umalis na kami.

"Tinext na ni Arielle si Drei, sinabi nyang kasama ka namin" he said.

Hindi ako nagsalita hanggang sa makarating kami sa isang five star restaurant. He opened his car door for me. Nauna na yung parents nya pati si Arielle sa loob then sumunod na lang kami.

"Napaka elegante mong tignan, hija" Mrs. Guevarra said.

I smiled at her.

"Kayang kaya nyang dalhin yung sarili nya" Mr. Guevarra said.

"Well, she's the heiress of the Dela Rosa Empire" the airhead whispered on my ears.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Kuya" Arielle said in a warning tone, she must've heard what the airhead said.

We walk towards the main hall, and then may nakita kaming lalaking naka-suit na biglang tumayo. My eyes widened, may pagkakahawig kasi yung beast dun sa lalakeng kausap ng parents nila Arielle.

"Mr. Alonzo" bati ni Mr. Guevarra, the latter just smiled then he motioned us to take a seat.

"Mabuti naman at napagbigyan nyo na yung invite ko sa dinner na 'to" Mr. Alonzo said.

"Busy na kasi kaya ngayon lang kami naging available" Mrs. Guevarra said.

Mr. Alonzo took a sip from his wine glass then napatingin sya sa akin, bigla nyang nailapag yung glass. His forehead creased at mas tinitigan pa ako ng mabuti. Err. Damn it!

"You look dangerously familiar to me, hija. What's your name?" he asked me.

"Mielle Buenavista, Sir" I answered.

"She's my son's friend" Mr. Guevarra added.

"I'm sorry for my tardi—"

"You're just in time, son" Mr. Alonzo said.

The beast's jaw dropped habang nakatingin sa akin, I heard the airhead chuckled as he took a sip of his wine.

"We're just about to discuss your arrange marriage" Mr. Alonzo said.

The beast's gaze never left mine.

"Magpapakasal ako sa kanya?!" He asked as he points at me. What the hell!? Paano ako nadamay dito.

Biglang tumawa ng malakas si Mr. Alonzo, nakisabay na din si Mr. and Mrs. Guevarra.

"Don't make it too obvious, son. Hindi sya ang ipapakasal ko sayo pero sya agad yung tinuro mo, napaghahalataan ka eh" Mr. Alonzo said then he smirked at the beast.

I cleared my throat, bigla silang natahimik.  

"If you'll excuse me, I don't think arrange marriages is a good subject for a joke. It involves business, so it has to be a serious matter. The fact that it's a marriage, it really has to be serious" I said, naramdaman ko yung kamay nung airhead sa kamay ko.

Napangiti si Mr. Alonzo sa akin.

"She's right" Mrs. Guevarra said.

"Take a seat, hijo. Mukhang gulat na gulat kang makita si Mielle" Mr. Guevarra said.

The beast nodded.

"I wasn't expecting to see my secretary to be here, since she told me na may tuturuan sya and I believe it's Lance" he said.

Napaubo naman si Mr. Alonzo, napalingon sa akin si Mr. Guevarra. The airhead just smirked at them.

"You're his secretary?" Mrs. Guevarra asked as she points the beast.

I nodded.

"And then, tutor ka ni Lance?" Mr. Alonzo asked.

"I chose her to be my private tutor, Sir" the airhead said.

Uminom na lang ako ng tubig, damn! Why am I even here in the first place?! Kinakabahan ako. Kumain na kami nung sinerve na yung food, nakayuko lang ako dahil nakatingin sa akin si Mr. Alonzo as well as the beast, nagulat na lang ako nung nilagyan ako ng hiwa hiwang steak nung airhead sa plato.

"Eat" he said.

"Son, your secretary reminds me of someone. Remember Myrrhabelle?" Mr. Alonzo asked.

Feeling ko biglang uminit dito, Damn! It's the witch's name.

"Mrs. Dela Rosa, Am I right?" Mr. Guevarra asked.

"Yeah, she's my colleague in highschool, we used to be friends pero dahil naging busy na at nakapag- asawa na sya hindi ko na sya nakakausap" Mr. Alonzo said.

"She's probably busy, hawak nya yung Empire group, it's a multinational corporation" Mrs. Guevarra said.

I bit my lower lip, hindi ko alam kung nakakailang mura na ako sa utak ko.

"I believe may anak syang babae" Mr. Alonzo said.

Gusto ko ng lumubog sa upuan ko, but I have to act cool. Naramdaman kong nagvibrate yung phone ko, binasa ko yung text.

I glanced at this airhead beside me, but he just smiled at me. I ignored him then I resume on eating.

"She was supposed to be my wife" the airhead said.

My grip on the steak knife, tightened. Damn him! How can I keep my straightface?!

"What happened?" the beast asked.

"Hindi sya sumipot sa kasal" Mr. Guevarra answered.

"I heard of it—it's the wedding of the millennium, right?" Mr. Alonzo asked.

Mr. and Mrs. Guevarra nodded, Mr. Alonzo chuckled.

"Mukhang namana ng anak ni Myrrha yung pagiging pasaway nya" Mr. Alonzo said as he took a sip of his wine.

"Have you met her?" Mr. Alonzo asked to the airhead.

Uminom ako ng tubig to calm myself, my heart is pounding feeling ko lalabas na sya sa rib cage ko.

"Yes, of course. She's beautiful parang si Mielle lang" the airhead said as he took a glance at me.

"If I remember it right, may pagkakahawig sila not to mention both of them have this strong authoritarian aura" Mr. Alonzo said.

Bigla na lang natabig ni Arielle yung wine glass nya at natapon sa damit ko yung wine, napatayo ako bigla and so is Arielle.

"Sorry, Mielle" She said then she gave me a 'I –saved-your-ass-look'

"Its fine" I said habang pinupunasan ko ng panyo ko yung dress.

Humarap ako sa parents nila Arielle at kay Mr. Alonzo.

"If you'll excuse me—"

Nagulat ako nung may humila sa braso ko, it's the beast.

"Sasamahan ko sya" the beast said then he gently pulled me, my eyes widened as I felt his arms around my waist.

Lumabas kami ng main hall.

"Bakit kasama ka nila?" he asked.

"Sinama ako ng mom ni Arielle, hindi ako makatanggi" I answered him.

He sighed then napabitaw sya sa waist ko but then he grabs my hand at hinila ako.

"Love!"

I heard the beast cursed then sabay naming nilingon yung airhead na naglalakad papalapit sa amin.

"Masarap ba dito, Cipher?"

"Oo naman, Mamita"

"Magaling mamili ng restaurant yang si Cipher"

"Si Paps na yung nagsabi"

I automatically froze as I heard those familiar voices, bigla akong inikot nung beast para talikuran yung airhead na super bagal maglakad akala mo may fashion show. That's when I saw Cipher who already has his jaw dropped.

"Wait for me, love" the airhead said.

Nanlaki yung mata ni Cipher, I'm sure he's curious as hell about these two guys beside me lalo na at narinig nyang tinawag akong 'love' nung airhead. The beast continued on pulling my hands hanggang sa malampasan na namin sila Cipher but then the airhead pulled my other hand causing us to stop walking.

"You left your phone, love" the airhead said.

I was about to get my phone.

"Excuse me, you must've dropped this hankie" Cipher said then he smirked at me. Lumingon pa ako sa likod nya pero wala na sina mami and paps-- they must've enter the hall.

Why do I feel like I'm going to be sick after this twisted meeting with these three jerks? The beast, the airhead and the bastard, wow!

Kinuha nung beast yung phone and hankie ko dun sa dalawa, both of them just smirked! Damn! Bakit nagsama pa silang dalawang smirking monster!?

"I'm taking her home" the beast said then nagsimula na kaming maglakad pero hinila na naman nung airhead yung kamay ko.

"She's my family's guest, she came here with me, so basically I'm responsible in taking her home, not you" the airhead said.

The two of them are glaring each other, I can't even speak dahil baka mamaya bigla silang magsapakan sa harapan ko. Pareho kong inagaw yung kamay ko sa kanila, I heard Cipher chuckled dahil nakikita na naman nya na nawawalan na ako ng pasensya.

"Shall I hail a cab for you, Milady?" Cipher asked, he just broke the silence.

"Yes, please" I answered as I grab my phone and hankie from the beast then nauna na akong maglakad.

I'm so freaking excited to lay my back on my freaking bed! This day is just so—eventful. I glanced at my right side, katabi ko na pala si Cipher.

"Who are they?" he asked in a low tone.

Naramdaman ko yung dalawa na left side ko na.

"Ihahatid na kita, delikado pag naka-taxi ka lang" the beast said.

"She can handle herself, but really, love. I'm willing to take you home" the airhead said.

"Your cab has arrived, milady" Cipher said with a smirk written on his face, and then he opened the car door for me.

"They're just a couple of jerks, just like you" I said to Cipher bago nya isara ng tuluyan yung pinto.

"You've got a lot of explaining to do" he whispered then sinara na nya yung car door.

Sinabi ko na sa driver yung address ng bahay ni Alexandrei then napasandal ako sa upuan. I sighed again for the nth time. I can't seem to calm myself kahit malayo na ako sa restaurant.

Why do I feel like na dinadaya ako?

Why does the four of us met in the same place?

Why does destiny kept on playing her dirty games at me?

Why do I feel like my freaking life is about to change just because of this twisted day?!
