*Mielle's POV*

Damn this day! I decided to walk my way home para makapagisip-isip. I asked Amanda to researched about that airhead—Lance Guevarra. She said, Lance was one of the most well-known bachelors in the U.S., He's the Heir of the Guevarra Estates, and He's a model and was known for being a playboy.

Naisip ko na, the fact that I didn't showed up on our wedding day ruined his life as a famous bachelor and a model. It's a shame on his name that his bride ditched him on their wedding day. I'm so great! I must've crashed his ego into dust.

Thinking about what happened earlier, makes me cringe. I sounded so brave back then pero ngayon para akong lantang gulay. The fact that he knows the witch makes me tremble in fear. Hindi ako takot sa Lance na yun at kahit pa sa witch, natatakot ako sa kung anong pwedeng nyang gawin. That witch is very unpredictable.

The street lamps started to lit up dahil madilim na, napatingin na lang ako sa ilaw then my visions became blurry. Umiling ako, I should've worn my specs.

I quickly walk towards Alexandrei's house then I noticed nakapatay pa rin yung mga ilaw. I think hindi pa sya nakakauwi. I fished my spare key on my bag then I opened the gate, I was surprised to see the main door was complete open, pero sobrang dilim sa loob.

*craaaaaaash*

Napatakbo ako sa loob as I hear the crashing sound of glass. Pagbukas ko ng ilaw, there I saw Alexandrei crashing every figurine, glass and frames into pieces. His hands are bleeding.

"Damn it! Damn it! Dam it!" he chanted as he smashed the flower vase.

I was just standing frozen on the doorway staring at him. I can't even process the idea in my head. Why is he doing this? Why is he crying?

"I should've just told her everything! I should've trusted her! Damn it!" he said still smashing everything he sees.

"AAAAAAAH! Argh! Damn it! Damn it all!" he shouted.

*Crash! Crash!*

I quickly run towards him and punched his face. Napalakas yata yung suntok ko kaya bigla syang natumba, his back slammed against the wall.

Napatingin ako sa fist ko, namumula na dahil sa tigas ng mukha ni Alexandrei. I felt his piercing gaze at me kaya nilingon ko sya, he's glaring at me like he could kill me at this moment. It's as if he's murdering me through his mind and any moment he could just attack me.

"Don't you dare glare at me like that, Alexandrei" I said in my coldest tone.

He may be look scary as of this moment but I'm sure he doesn't want me to match his mood right now because it would be hell. He knows that I can fight him.

He looked away and calmed himself by sighing several times. He cursed under his breath at paulit-ulit na sinusuntok yung sahig. This is the first time I saw Alexandrei in this state, looking so devastated just because of a girl.

"Why don't you just grab a knife and stab your chest instead of hurting yourself by punching the floor, it's not like the floor is gonna cry because of pain" I said filled with sarcasm.

"You're not helping, Louisse" he said with same cold tone as mine.

I laughed sarcastically at him and it looks like I pissed the hell out of him, kaya ang sama na naman ng tingin nya sa akin.

"I just proved her that I'm not worthy of a boyfriend, I proved her that I'm not worthy of her. I'm such an ass" he said.

I sat on the couch and scanned the whole area, hindi ko pa nakikita si Luna baka pinatay na ni Alexandrei. Damn, it's my Dad's gift!

"Pinatunayan ko lang sa kanya na dapat pinili nya si Clyde" he said.

I don't understand myself, after hearing the beast's name I felt uneasy and there's something contracting inside my chest. Masakit.

"I prove her that Clyde is way, way, way better than me and Arielle's not stupid to not realize it" he said.

He's self-pitying.

"Did you two, broke up?" I asked.

"Cool-off" he answered.

What??? Cool-off?

"We're not actually separated but she asked for space and she doesn't want me to talk to her" he said.

Napansin siguro nyang clueless ako sa cool-off thing nila. Well, you can't blame me! I've never been in a relationship!

"She blocked me in all of her social media accounts, I can't contact her. She shut me off" he said then he punched the floor, again.

"Hindi na ako magugulat kung dumating yung araw na makikipag-break na sya sa akin" he said then he sighed.

Then what? He will return in being the cold hearted bastard and Arielle will be with that beast? For sure the beast would accept her with open arms but that's a freaking bullshit!

"Hindi na ako magugulat kung marerealize nyang mas gusto nya pala si Clyde" he said.

I wanted to punch him again, not because his imagining things and pitying himself but because I just wanted to. I wanted to punch someone because I'm freaking hurting! And I don't know why?!

He stood up and quickly run towards his room, masyado akong nagulat sa ginawa nya kaya hindi agad ako nakatayo. I heard he slammed the door hard then I heard a crashing sound. Sumunod ako sa kanya, I tried opening his door but it was freaking locked!

"Alexandrei! Open this damn door!" I commanded him as I knock his door.

Pero parang wala syang naririnig, nagbabasag lang sya ng gamit, naririnig ko syang sumisigaw at nagmumura, nararamdaman kong nasasaktan sya.

Curse me in times like this, I'm really no help. Napaupo na lang ako sa sahig, my back was pressed against door, I can still hear him cursing and crashing things in his room.

I sighed, this is my entire fault. My freaking existence brings nothing but trouble! I'm the freaking destruction! I'm a life wrecker and as well as a relationship wrecker! I bring pain to others!

Narinig kong tumigil na si Alexandrei, everything went silent. Naramdaman ko syang sumandal din sa pinto, I can clearly hear his sobs.

"I'm sorry" I whispered.

Hours has passed, hindi ko na sya naririnig na umiiyak, he must've fell asleep while crying, still alam kong nakasandal pa rin sya sa pinto. I fished my phone in my pocket and dialed his number. I wonder if he's awake at this moment, it's already 11 in the evening.

["Hello"]

He's still awake.

["Hello"] he sounded so irritated.

I smiled.

["Hey, Devil! Are you there?"] he asked.

I couldn't find the right words to say, parang biglang nawala yung dila ko.

He sighed.

["Look, I have no time for jokes, Devil"] he said in a serious tone.

Do I look like I called him just to tell him a joke?

["I'll end this call. Lasing ka ba?"] he asked.

I sighed. Siguro nga dapat naglasing na lang ako, pero baka kung ano-ano na naman ang gawin.

["Devil"] he said.

"I...." I said.

["Come on, Devil. Arielle needs me now, I don't know what happened between her and Drei pero bigla syang dumating dito sa bahay, umiiyak. Hindi sya nagsasalita, iyak lang sya ng iyak"] he said.

"Beast—I"

["Arielle needs me, I'll hung up"] he said then he ended the call.

"I need you" I whispered.

Nabitawan ko na lang yung phone ko. So he's with Arielle, he's acting as the knight in shining armor ready to rescue the damsel in distress, he's offering his shoulder for Arielle to cry on.

I texted Alex and told him that I want to cancel the 'business'. There's no sense in making that beast fall for me. He's still in love with Arielle. I shouldn't have involved myself in their twisted love story.

I doze myself to sleep at nagising na lang ako sa higaan ko, still wearing my yesterday's uniform. I saw Luna sleeping on my feet. Alexandrei must've carried me all the way here. Kinuha ko yung phone ko, I'm not surprised to see Alex's calls and messages, I even saw texts from Kat, Nadia and Ellena.

Tumayo na ako at naligo na, I didn't bother to check Alexandrei in his room, alam kong buhay pa sya dahil nalipat pa nya ako sa kwarto ko. I went down the stairs then I saw him walked towards the door, sumunod ako sa kanya, sumakay sya sa mustang nya. Kahit malayo ako sa kanya, I can feel his cold presence.

"Sasabay ka ba?" he asked.

"Hindi" I answered.

Hindi na ulit sya nagsalita at umalis na. Inayos ko yung backpack ko at sumakay na ako sa motor, I should return this to Alex, I already canceled our 'business'.

Mabilis akong nakarating sa school, dahil nakamotor ako and wala namang traffic. I stopped nearby in front of the finance building, I saw Alexandrei's mustang and the beast's car, and he's leaning on his car as well as Alexandrei. A gray Porsche came at bumaba dun si Arielle along with her airhead brother.

Alexandrei just stared at Arielle for a while then sumakay na ulit sya sa sasakyan nya tapos umalis na. I rolled my eyes; he should've talked to her!

I drove towards the front of finance building and parked beside the beast's car, the airhead's car on my left. I removed my helmet, the airhead smirked as he saw me, and I glared at him in return.

The beast didn't notice me dahil nagpunta agad sya kay Arielle and his stupidity strikes again. Bumaba na ako sa motor, iniwan ko na lang yung helmet dun. Hindi na ako nagulat nung makita ko yung airhead sa entrance ng building.

"Good Morning, my almost bride" he greeted me.

"Go to hell" I said.

He chuckled.

"Not without you" he said in a singing tone then sumunod sya sa akin papasok ng building.

Just what is this airhead up to? Anong trip nya? Is he going to execute his revenge? This freaking early?!

Nasa unahan ko yung beast at si Arielle, then nakasalubong nila sila Nadia with Alex. I stopped, katabi ko na si Arielle pero biglang sumingit yung airhead kaya medyo lumayo sa kanya si Arielle, causing her to move closer to the beast.

I tried to stop my brows in meeting each other but I can't! Natigilan si Kat, Nadia at Ellena, Alex's jaw dropped as they saw us. I glanced at the beast, sya pala may dala ng mga gamit ni Arielle, I rolled my eyes, hindi ko alam na baldado pala si Arielle.

I cleared my throat to ease the silence that's going on between us, hinagis ko yung susi kay Alex at nasalo nya. I nodded at them, I was about to leave but the airhead grabbed my arms.

"You're not going anywhere, without me" he said then he smirks.

I heard their faint gasped, nakatingin silang lahat sa kamay nung airhead sa braso ko. Nagpalipat-lipat sila ng tingin sa amin—the beast with Arielle and I with this airhead.

"Since when did you became my tail?" I asked.

"Since that day" he said, as usual nakasmirk na naman sya.

I calmed myself dahil baka masapak ko to ng wala sa panahon.

"Close kayo?" Nadia asked.

"Hindi/Oo" sabay naming sabi nung airhead then bigla nya akong inakbayan.

Their jaw dropped, I even heard the beast mumbled something pero hindi ko naintindihan. The airhead's arm is on my shoulders, I took that chance para mabalibag ko sya, they were so surprise to see him lying on the ground, wincing in pain.

"Kuya!" Arielle said.

The airhead groaned as he stood up, he smirked at me mukhang natutuwa pa sya sa ginawa ko.

"Hindi lang ganon ang aabutin mo pag lumapit ka pa sa akin" I said.

Napasipol sya then he smiled at me.

"Makes me want to be even more close to you" he said then lumapit sya sa akin.

I was about to punch him but the beast cleared his throat.

"Ihahatid ko na sa room nyo si Arielle" he said. The four of them nodded, then umalis na sila Arielle.

"Anong nangyari?" Kat asked.

"Bakit si Clyde kasama nun?" Ellena asked.

"Bakit magkasama kayo?" Alex asked me while pointing at the airhead.

Hindi ako nakasagot, dahil naiinis talaga ako sa airhead na 'to. Nandito sila Nadia, pwedeng pwede nyang sabihin lahat ng nalalaman nya tungkol sa akin.

"Kayo pa nagsama, pareho kayo ng buhok oh, Ano relationship goals?" Nadia asked.

The airhead pulled me by my waist, sisikuhin ko sana sya but he dodged it.

"Do we look like a great couple?" he asked them.

I step on the airhead's foot at napalayo sya sa akin, he's glaring at me bigtime it's as if any moment sasabihin na nya yung secret ko.

"Bagay ba kaming mag-asawa?" he asked again.

Hindi nakasagot si Nadia while Kat and Ellena are staring at us, looks like pinagiisipan nila yung tanong nung airhead na 'to.

"I have to go to my class" I said as I excused myself.

Iniwan ko na lang sila dun. My first class started but the beast didn't came, Nadia texted me that the beast is in their class, nagsit-in daw. Kahit yung next class namin nung beast, hindi sya pumasok. See what love can do? It's called Stupidity.

Lunch break na but there's no single beast's shadow in the area. Madalas kaming mag lunch ng sabay but look at him now, he's nowhere to be found and probably he's with Arielle.

Wala akong gana, kaya tinutusok tusok ko lang yung pagkain ko. Damn that beast! It's his entire fault! Pag nagutom ako mamaya, I'll blame it all on him!

Tatayo na sana ako dala yung tray ko, but then someone pushed me back to my seat. I was surprised to see the beast standing in front of me while holding his tray. Umupo sya sa tapat ko then he started eating.

"Where's Arielle?" I asked sounding like a jealous girlfriend. WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT THE FREAKING HELL?!

I suddenly want to take back what I asked, damn me!

"Kinakausap sya ni Drei, magkasama silang kumain ngayon sa labas" he answered.

I nodded, that's good. Akala ko maghapon silang magkasama ngayon eh. Tsh!

"Bakit hindi ka kumakain?" he asked.

"I'm full" I lied.

He nodded then pinagpatuloy nya yung pagkain. Ininom ko na lang yung milkshake ko.

"I didn't know that you and Lance are close" he said.

*coughs...coughs*

He handed me his tumbler at uminom ako dun.

"What the hell? hindi kami close" I answered. Uh, why do I sound so defensive?

"Mukha kayong—hindi magbest friends but you seemed to know each other very well" he said.

Correction. I don't know that airhead but he knows me, he's my creepy stalker!

"At pareho pa kayo ng hair color, making you look like a couple" he added.

What?!

"Should I change my hair color now?" I asked jokingly.

He glanced at me and for a moment I forgot about breathing as he stared right through my eyes.

"Don't. Gray suits you well" he said then he resume on eating while I resume on breathing.

He finished eating habang ako nakatingin lang sa kung saan. He grabbed his tumbler then uminom sya, but then his forehead creased.

"Inubusan mo ako ng tubig!" he said.

It's not my fault. He handed me his tumbler nung inubo ako. Bigla nyang kinuha yung milkshake ko then ininom nya. ININOM NYA! From the straw. Ugh!

I rolled my eyes, mukhang gustong-gusto nya yung milkshake eh, inubos na nya.

"So bakit ka pala tumawag kagabi?" he asked.

I kept a straight expression on my face, well in fact I wanted to glare at him, roll my eyes, and I wanted to yell at him. I wanted to tell him, how stupid he is; I wanted to curse him—and myself for calling him last night!

"Did I called you last night?" I asked. It's a lie; damn I wanna congratulate myself for being an actress.

He lean forward, for a moment I thought he's going to kiss me kaya napaatras ako but then pinitik nya ako sa noo.

"Ouch!" reklamo ko, then I glared at him.

"Tumawag ka sa akin, you were about to say something—beast I" he said trying to imitate how I sounded on the phone call.

My forehead creased. Bakit ba ako kinakabahan?! What the hell? This is so not me. Hindi ako makasagot.

"I—"I said.

He leans forward as if he's waiting for me to continue to speak.

"I can't remember" I said.

Napasandal ulit sya sa upuan, looking so disappointed. Uh—why? Ano bang iniisip nyang sasabihin ko?

"And here I thought you were going to say 'I'm sorry' for making me worry about you" he said in a low tone.

I already said I'm sorry! What the hell? Ano pang gusto nya?! I'm getting annoyed here! Damn it!

"I—Beast I" he said trying to imitate me.

I wanna punch him hard on the face! I hate him! nakakainis!

"I WAS ABOUT TO SAY 'I NEED YOU' YOU STUPID BEAST! BUT LOOKS LIKE ARIELLE NEEDED YOU MORE, THAT'S WHY YOU HUNG UP!" I said.

And it's so damn late when I realized that my voice was loud enough to capture the attention of everyone in the main building's canteen! The beast is just staring at me in awe, of course hindi nya inaasahan na ganon yung sasabihin ko.

"W-Why do you n-need me? Akala ko ba wala kang maalala?" he asked.

Ano? Sagot!

Damn it! I need to filter my mouth, I was so annoyed at him kaya nasabi ko yung nasa isip ko without thinking! What's freaking happening to me!?

"Ano—I needed you because, Ano—"I said, fck it! I'm stuttering!

"What?" he asked.

Think my goodness think!

"Alexandrei was devastated last night; the whole house is a mess. I decided to call you para tulungan akong linisin yung bahay" I said in a plain tone.

I hope I sound convincing, please!

"That's it?" he asked.

"Why? Ano bang iniisip mo?" I asked.

Napaiwas sya ng tingin sa akin. He cleared his throat. Damn this is so awkward! Hindi na sya sumagot, kinuha ko yung tray then tumayo na. Damn him! Damn me!

Iniwan ko sya dun, binalik ko na yung tray sa lalagyan kahit hindi naman nabawasan yung pagkain ko. I fixed my hair then I walked passed him.

"Devil" he shouted.

I closed my eyes out of frustration, what now? Binilisan ko yung lakad ko, not minding the people around me, may mga nababangga na ako but I don't care. The beast is still tailing me, ano bang problema nya?!

I continued walking away from him hanggang sa makarating ako sa empty hallway ng main building but then someone pulled me then he pushed me and my back ended up slamming against the wall.

"Devil" the beast said.

I glared at him, he's pinning me against the wall but then he just flashed his smirk at me.

"What is it you need, airhead?" I asked.

He answered me with a smirk, wow grabe! Naintindihan ko yun. Damn him! I tried to push him away from me but he's strong mas diniin pa nya yung pagkakasandal ko sa pader.

I glanced at the beast, he's just standing there, staring at us, and both of his hands are in his pockets, wearing no expression at all.

"Your highness, my name is Lance" the airhead said with a smirk.

"Airhead suits you" I said through gritted teeth.

"So you're giving me nicknames, huh?" he asked then he smiled at me.

He leaned closer to me; his face is inches away from mine. Hindi ako makagalaw.

"Should I give you a nickname?—should I call you 'love' then?" He asked in a low voice, enough for the beast to hear.

The airhead glanced at him then he return his gaze at me with his annoying smirk. Bumaba yung tingin nya sa katawan ko, WHAT THE HELL?!

I was about to punch him pero lumayo agad sya sa akin, hinubad nya yung coat nya. He grabbed my hands at pinaikot nya ako, nasa likod ko sya then the beast is in front of me, watching us. He tied his coat on my waist, in the beast's eyeview, it will look like this airhead is back hugging me.

"There are blood stains on your skirt, love" he whispered, I can feel his breath against my ears then he chuckled.

"You'll be seeing more of this handsome face of mine, so better be prepared, love" he said then he left me dumbfounded.

The beast is just staring at me—expressionless. He turned his back at me, and then he started walking away.

"Love, huh?"
