*Mielle's PoV*

"Mielle, una na ako ah. Ikaw ng bahala dito" Ms. Cruz said, she's the librarian.

"Yeah, i'll just have to arrange few more books back to the shelves" i said.

"Sipag ah" she said.

"Wala naman po akong gagawin after" i said.

She bid her goodbyes and left me here alone in the library. Walang masyadong students ngayon dahil walang magtututor. Well, technically i am also a tutor but i can't handle them alone. Tsssss i never thought that the beast's absence would be a burden to me. I'm so tired!

I pick up the pile of books and place it to the cart, i have to return these to the shelves.

I was busy arranging the books when i heard someone entered the door. I heard the bell rang.

"The library is already closed" i said, not giving a glance to whoever entered the library even though there's a big sign that's it's already closed.

"Hindi naman ako nagpunta dito para magbasa, i'm here to ask you a favor" she said. I know that voice.

Hindi ko sya nilingon, i'm busy can't she see?! I can still feel her presence despite of my silence. Hindi ba nya nahahalata na I'm not interested in doing her a favor?

I sighed.

"What is it you need, Arielle?" I asked.

Hindi sya sumasagot, so i glanced at her. Shocked expression was written all over her face. Is it because i call her name?

"Ano--ah busy ka ba mamaya?" She asked.

"Why?" I asked back.

"Busy ka ba?" She asked again, as she walks towards me. I continue arranging the books.

"It depends on your answer of my question 'why?'" I said.

"Can you please check on Clyde" she said politely.

Hindi ko sya pinansin, i act like i didn't heard what she said.

"Look, tatlong araw ng may sakit si Clyde. I just want you to check on him" she said.

Tumigil ako sa ginagawa ko and i faced her. Of all people, why me? Nandyan si Alex, even her friends can check the beast.

"You're the last one that came into my mind, actually. Hindi ko naman ineexpect na lalapit ako sayo at papakiusapan ka para tignan si Clyde" she said.

She's asking a favor but the way she speaks to me is so rude. I don't think i can grant her favor.

"Bakit hindi ikaw yung pumunta?" I asked. She looks so eager to check on beast.

She sighed. She looks so pissed though and i can't help but smirk because of her. What would Alexandrei feel if he saw this reaction of her girl who's overly concern about her ex suitor slash lover?

"Kung pwede ako ngayon, hindi ako lalapit sayo para humingi ng pabor" she plainly said.

I resume on arranging the books, she's totally wasting my time here.

"Why me? Mas malapit yung bahay nila sa inyo" i asked.

"Nakatira na sya ngayon sa dad nya sa mountain ville, so why not you?" She asked back.

Nakatira yung beast sa dad nya? So he belongs to a broken family huh?

"May ginaga--" she cut me off.

"Why not you? Eh ikaw yung rason kung bakit sya may sakit" she said.

I stopped arranging the books.

"Me? What did i do?" I asked.

Why would i be the reason he's sick? Tssss.

"He saved you a couple of times. Una dun sa bangin, he took care of you nung nagkasakit ka, he even drove you home safely and he's also the reason why tahimik yung mga students even after knowing that you're the captain's cousin and also the official school photographer. Maraming galit sayo but because of Clyde no one's bullying you. Ngayon nagkasakit sya dahil sumugod sa ulan nung basketball training para lang mahanap ka kasi gabi na" she said.

Now she's guilt tripping me and curse me for feeling guilty! I didn't asked him to do those things for me, so why would i feel guilty? Why do i feel like I'm responsible for what happened to that beast?

"Titignan mo lang kung ok sya eh, in exchange for all those saving he did to you" she said.

I sighed. Does he really stopped the other students in bullying me? Why would he do that?! Ugh! Fck it!

"Fine" i said.

Fck my life!

"Sky mansion sa mountain ville" she said.

"Sky what?!" I asked.

"Magtanong ka na lang, thanks. I really have to go, may klase pa ako. Thank you talaga" she said and then she fled off.

She thanked me? Wow. Parang kanina lang mukhang aawayin na nya ako now she's all nice to me. Tsssss. Weird girl.

I quickly arrange the books and fled off too. Hapon na, baka gabihin pa ako pag hindi pa ako umalis.

Nagpunta na ako sa parking lot, good thing Alexandrei allowed me to borrow his mustang. He doesn't want me to use bumblebee, masyadong attention seeker.

I drive as fast as i could papuntang mountain ville. Huminto ako sa may guard house para magtanong ng directions.

"Manong, saan po yung sky mansion?" I asked.

"Diretsohin mo lang yung pataas na daan na yan, makikita mo naman agad iyon dahil sa laki nito" he said.

I nodded then i resume on driving. Hindi naman siguro ako maliligaw dito?

I did what manong said, habang tumatagal yung pag-drive ko mas napapalayo na ako sa guard house and i must say tago na yung sky mansion sa sinasabi nila.

Wala ng bahay puro puno na lang, where the hell is that mansion?!

I drove fast until i saw a huge gate by the end of the road. So dulo talaga ng daan yung mansion huh?

Binaba ko yung bintana nung makalapit ako sa guard house.

"Ms. Arielle kanina pa po kayo hinihintay" he said.

Ms. What?!

The huge gate opened and the guard motioned me to enter. The mansion itself is far from the gates. I suddenly miss mine in the U.S.

There's a huge garden filled with flowers then there's a huge fountain in front of the mansion and of course a staircase towards the entrance.

I parked in front of the staircase and got out from the car, i saw someone was waiting at the main door.

"Ms. Arielle! Nakakatuwa naman po at nakarating kayo" the old lady said, happily.

I can't help but smile but i don't think it's a smile though, does she thinks I'm Arielle?!

She opened the double doors for me then sumalubong sa amin or sa akin yung mga kasambahay in complete uniform.

"Magandang hapon, Ms. Arielle!" they all greeted me.

There's a huge mistake here! Hello?

After the greeting they all resume on what they are doing. Now, everyone thinks I'm Arielle, I think I'm going to have a headache after this.

"Ako nga pala si Lydia, tagapamahala ng mga kasambahay dito sa mansion. Nako, ang ganda nyo po talaga Ms. Arielle. Hindi nabigyan ng hustisya ang mukha mo mula sa kwento ni Young master" she said.

I'm not Arielle. Seriously?!

I forced a smile.

"Nasan po si bea--Clyde" i asked.

Napatingin sya sa akin.

"Tatlong araw na pong may sakit si young master" she said.

And that's because of me. Great.

"Ayaw nya pong pumapasok kami sa kwarto nya at baka daw mahawaan kami. Nako naman talaga yung batang iyon!" She added.

"He's really stubborn" i said.

Natawa sya.

"Kahit naman po ganun yun, napakabait pa rin nun Ms. Arielle" she said.

I can't help but cringe everytime they call me 'Ms. Arielle'

"Uminom ba sya ng gamot?" I asked.

She shook her head out of disbelief.

"Ayaw nyang uminom ng gamot pero kumakain naman po sya, konti" she said.

I can't believe I'm doing this but.

"Nasan po yung gamot nya? Ako na lang po yung pipilit na magpainom sa kanya" i asked.

We stopped at the huge living room. May kinausap saglit si Ma'am Lydia then inabot na sa kanya yung tray na may meds and water.

"Baka nga po mapainom mo ng gamot si young master, nasa second floor yung kwarto nya, sa bandang kaliwa, dulo ng hallway" she said.

I nodded.

"Sige na at maghahanda muna ako ng hapunan, dito ka na kumain ah" she said.

Hindi na nya ako hinintay na makasagot, basta na lang sya umalis. I stared at the tray I'm holding.

"Really?" I asked to myself.

I went up to the second floor, kaliwa then dulo ng hallway. The mansion is so huge with vintage furniture, pareho lang nung bahay ko sa U.S. I soon as i saw the double doors at the end of the hallway, i stopped.

Why the hell did i stop?

I shook my head.

"You just have to check on him" i said to myself.

I continued walking until i reached the door. I turn the knob and gently push the freaking door! Why am i so nervous?!

Ah probably because the last time you saw each other, you were so so so awkward!

I brushed off my messed up thoughts then i entered the beast's lair.

I gasped. his room is such beauty. Pagpasok mo pa lang sasalubong na sayo yung malaking glass wall, tanaw yung buong city even the mountains. I quickly scanned the room. It was unbelievably neat, parang hindi kwarto ng lalake.

*coughs...coughs*

I glanced at the beast's bed. He's probably asleep, since hindi nya napansin yung pagpasok ko.

I slowly went closer to him. I need to finish this fast malapit na magdilim, I'm sure Alexandrei will find me.

Nung nakalapit na ako sa kanya, i can see in his face that's he's really not feeling well, maputla sya. I gently place my palm on his forehead and damn! He's burning hot! His temperature is above normal, dapat sinusugod na to sa hospital!

But of course, kung gusto nyang masugod sa hospital dapat hindi na umabot ng three days di ba? So obviously, he doesn't want to go anywhere.

"What to do?" I whispered.

To be honest, hindi ko talaga alam kung paano magalaga ng may sakit. I must do something to at least make his temperature a bit normal.

*coughs...coughs*

"Hmmm"

Ok anong gagawin ko?!

I quickly fished my phone in my pocket and dialed Amanda's number. After few rings she answer.

"Ms. Mielle" she greeted.

Damn it! Magtatanong to eh! Why would i need her to research about taking care of a sick person?!

"Ahm--you see i have this friend who has a friend who is sick so ahm--i need you to research about how to care of a sick person. I need it now" i said.

"What happened? I think it's better if you bring that person in the hospital" she suggested.

"My friend bring that person in the hospital" i corrected her.

"Yes, Miss" she said.

"I need a first aid--i mean my friend needs that first aid to help her friend" i said.

She paused. Quite too long.

"Hey, dictate the things that my friend needs to do to help her sick friend, I'll dictate to her afterwards" i said.

"Yes, Miss. I'm sure that person has a high temperature, so in order to make it somehow normal you need a warm water in a basin with alcohol and a towel of course--"

"My friend" i corrected her again.

"Right, your friend. And also she needs to change the sick person's clothes and then wipe the person's body with a warm towel" she said.

"What?!" I asked.

"Hmmm *coughs*"

"Do i really have to do that?! I mean does my friend really have to do that?" I asked.

"Yes, Miss. Then the medicine will help too and a soup" she said.

"Owkay, thanks Amanda" i said then i ended the call

So i need a basin with alcohol and warm water and towel too. Paano ako kukuha ng ganon? Mukhang wala yun dito.

I scanned the beast's room and saw an intercom beside his headboard. I press the button and the line went open.

"Sir Clyde?" She asked.

"Hello, i need a basin with warm water and alcohol and please bring a towel too. Thanks" i said.

Then i release the button and then the line went dead.

I stared at this beast lying on his bed. Kailangan ko ba talagang palitan yung damit nya?

I scanned his room. Bakit wala syang closet? Or maybe he has a walk in closet. I noticed a full length mirror not far from his bed, lumapit ako dun, pwede palang buksan yung mirror by sliding it and there i found his not so manly walk in closet.

I can't believe he has one! His closet is neatly arranged from his shoes, clothes, pants and even his bags. Bakla ba sya?

*knocks*

I quickly got out from the closet and opened the main door of his room.

"Ms. Arielle, eto na po yung hinihingi nyo" the maid said.

"Thanks" i said then kinuha ko na yung basin.

Pinatong ko yun sa side table then nilgyan ko ng alcohol, binabad ko din yung towel. But first, i have to find some decent clothes the madaling isuot. I think, shirt lang naman yung kailangan kong palitan right?

Kumuha na lang ako ng sweat shirt then lumabas na.

I gently remove the comforter above him, i sighed in relief ng malaman kong naka-polo sya. Hindi ako mahihirapan magtanggal ng damit.

I sat beside him and gently unbuttoned his polo. Damn it! Why is that my hands are shaking?!

Binilisan ko ng kumilos,  as soon as i removed his polo kinuha ko agad yung towel tapos pinigaan. Do i really have to do this? Yung pupunasan yung katawan ng beast?!

Ugh!

I look away from his body, i just stared on his face instead. Baka isipin pa nyang pinagnanasahan ko sya. Tsssss. This beast is so full of himself.

Pinunasahan ko sya ng mabilis. Kinuha ko na rin yung sweatshirt tapos sinuot sa kanya.

It's quite amusing na hindi sya nagigising. Nilinis ko na yung mga ginamit ko and now it's time for him to take his meds, but how?

I opened his mouth and simply drop the medicine in it, i made sure na nalunok nya yun then Viola! Tapos na!

"You should be honored and thankful. This is the first time I've took care of someone who's sick" i whispered.

I glanced at his huge window, maggagabi na. I need to go home. Aalis na sana ako pero hinila nya yung kamay ko and i ended up landing beside him. Saan galing yung lakas nya?

"Don't leave me here, Arielle" he said.

Ok fck! I quit even the beast thought i'm Arielle.

"Clyde let me go" i said in a polite way.

But he didn't listen instead he wrap his arms around my waist not wanting to let go.

"Pakawalan moko" i said.

He tightened his hug, halos yung mukha ko madikit na sa dibdib nya, kung wala lang sakit to kanina pa to napilayan!

"Clyde"

"Impakto, tawagin mo akong impakto Arielle" he said as if he's begging.

"Clyde, please let me go" i said while slightly pushing him.

"Ayoko, for the last time, Arielle. Please tawagin mo akong impakto" he said.

Bakit ako nasasaktan para sa kanya? I sighed.

"Impakto, pakawalan mo na ako" i said.

"I will, Arielle but please let's just stay like this for a while" he said.

"Hayaan mo akong yakapin sa huling pagkakataon" he added.

I don't what's gotten into me but i freaking hugged him back! I hugged the beast back!

He hugged me even tighter and then i felt him kissed the top of my head and for a moment i suddenly stop breathing. Why do i feel so secure inside his arms? Why does my heart beats this fast?!

I glanced at the window, it's already dark outside. Alexandrei will kill me!

I felt his hand brushing my hair gently, i can't help it inaantok na ako.

He really loves Arielle, and i don't know why i envy her because of that. I closed my eyes, matutulog lang ako saglit since the beast won't let go of me.

*hours passed*

I opened my eyes and saw the beast sleeping beside me. I was hoping that it was all just a dream but nope it's not a dream. I gently remove his arms around me and got up. I quickly get my phone in my pocket pero yung magaling kong pinsan hindi man lang ako tinawagan or something!

He probably knows that I'm with beast at the moment. Tsssss. It's already 4:00 a.m and i haven't eaten anything yet. I touch his forehead and somehow, nawawala na yung lagnat nya.

A sketchpad on his side table caught my attention, of course kinuha ko yun then binuksan. The sketchpad was full of Arielle's face, may drawing na nakapikit si Arielle while smiling and the wind is blowing her hair, may drawing na kumakanta sya sa sasakyan, may drawing na naka dress sya and probably the beast is the guy with her while dancing and many more sketches about Arielle.

He's good, mas magaling pa sya kay Alexandrei magdrawing. A particular sketch made my heart skip a beat.

It's a pair of eyes, emerald green eyes same as mine. Is this me? Or is it my eyes?

Nah. Why would he drew my eyes?

"Arielle"

I quickly placed back the sketchpad on his side table.

"Arielle, please choose me" he said.

Feeling ko magigising na sya anymoment.

"Arielle, don't leave me" he said.

I quickly walk towards the door. Nagulat pa ako nung nakita ko si Ms. Lydia pag bukas ko ng pinto.

"Miss, gising na po pala kayo" she said.

"Ah, yeah tingin ko gising na din si Clyde and i think i should go" i said.

Sumilip sya pinto, nagulat ako nung hilahin nya ako papasok.

"Wait" i whispered but she didn't listened.

Lumapit kami sa beast, she touch his forehead and then she smiled at me.

"Arielle, Arielle gawan mo ako ng breakfast, please" the beast said.

Tulog ba sya or nagtutulogtulugan lang?! Ang kapal nya ah!

Hinila naman ako ni Ms. Lydia palabas.

"Salamat sa tulong mo, Miss" she said.

She's not calling me Arielle.

"No problem, i should get going" i said.

"Baka pwede mo naman pong ipagluto si Sir Clyde?" she asked.

I can't cook!

She looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Nasan po yung kitchen nyo?" I asked.

"Ah doon po, Miss" she motioned me to follow her.

"Anong breakfast ba yung gusto ni Clyde?" I asked.

"Pancakes and spam daw po yung madalas na niluluto ni Ms. Arielle sa kanya" she said.

She knew.

"Sorry if i lied" i said.

"Akala ko talaga ikaw si Ms. Arielle, pero nakita ko yung picture sa kwarto ni Sir Clyde, hindi ka pala si Ms. Arielle" she said.

"Sorry, hindi ko sinabi agad. Ang saya saya nyo kasi nung dumating ako knowing that i was Arielle" i said.

"Bakit nga pala hindi sya nakapunta?" She asked.

Now what? Bigla na lang akong nilayasan ng babaeng yun sa library.

"She's a busy person" i answered.

We continued walking. Ang layo ng kitchen.

"Mahal sya ni Sir Clyde, ramdam na ramdam ko sa mga kwento nya pa lang" she said.

I felt bad about him.

"He loves a person who's in love with somebody else" i said.

"Kaya din ba hindi makapunta si Ms. Arielle dahil sa boyfriend nya?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Kawawa naman pala si Sir Clyde, panigurado nasasaktan yun kapag nagkikita sila ni Ms. Arielle" she said.

"He's been foolishly in love with someone he can't have, he needs to let go of her" i said.

"Eto na po yung kitchen, kumpleto naman po ng ingredients dito, kayo na pong bahala. Pasensya na po kailangan pa naming maglinis" she said.

I entered the kitchen, a huge kitchen! What if i burn this whole mansion down by just cooking a pancake?

I hope Rachelle's awake by now.

Calling Rae...

"Uhmmm"

She just woke up

"Good morning Rae" i greeted.

"What is it you need? It's just 5 in the morning!" She shouted.

"Rae help me" i said.

"Ang aga pa" she said.

"Gutom na ako and i can't cook! Hahayaan mo na lang ba akong mamatay sa gutom?" I asked.

"Mag pa deliver ka na lang, baka masunog mo pa yung kitchen ng pinsan mo" bored nyang sabi.

"Ayoko, turuan mo ako kung paano magluto ng pancakes and spam" i said.

"You hate cooking!" She said.

"Yes i know pero gutom na ako" i lied.

"Fine, pancake mix, eggs, water, butter and oil" she instructed.

So hinanap ko yun sa kitchen. 

"What else do i need?" I asked.

"Bowl, ilagay mo yung pancake mix doon, lagyan ng eggs tapos 3/4 cup ng water, tapos lagyan mo ng konting oil then mix" she said.

To be honest wala akong naintindihan sa sinabi nya. Damn me!

So kumuha ako ng malaking bowl, nilagay ko yung pancake mix at natapunan pa ako sa mukha! Pancake powder all over my face! I crack the eggs gently pero may egg shell pa ding nasama then i pour the water and oil then mix. Natapunan pa yung uniform ko ng pancake dough!

"Hey! Still there?" I asked.

"Uhmmm yes" she said.

"Wag mo akong tulugan" i said.

"I did not" she said.

"Tapos anong gawin ko?" I asked.

"Open mo yung stove, patong mo yung frying pan tapos lagyan mo ng butter" she said.

"Rae, paano magopen ng stove?" I politely asked.

"Haaaaa! You're a hopeless case, wag ka magluto!" She said.

"Come oooooon!" I said.

"Electric ba yan? Pindutin mo lang yung button tapos low heat lang" she said.

So i did.

"Tapos?" I asked.

"Pour the pancake dough sa pan" she said.

I did.

"Sht!" I cursed.

"Bakit?" She asked.

"Umapaw yung pan!" I said

"Konti lang kasi!" She said.

"Tapos kapag nagbubble na anong gagawin ko?" I asked.

"Flip it" she said.

So i did flip it up and it landed on the kitchen sink, damn!

"Paano magluto ng spam?" I asked.

"Kumuha ka ng spam, hiwain mo ng manipis tapos ilagay mo sa frying pan na may oil" she said.

"Ok bye thanks" i said then ended the call.

Kumuha ako ng spam, i gently open the can pero nasugatan pa ako.

"Ouch" i whispered.

Kumuha ako ng kitchen knife tapos hiniwahiwa ko yung spam and nasugatan na naman ako.

"Fck it!" I cursed.

Hinugasan ko muna sa sink yung finger ko para hindi malagyan ng dugo yung niluluto ko.

Can you imagine sabay kong niluluton yung pancake tapos spam! And i think hindi ko pa nafflip yung pancake na nilagay ko.

"Sht sht sht, sunog na!" I said.

Napaso ako, natalsikan ng mantika, nahiwa ng knife and hindi na ako magluluto ulit! Never again!

Nilagay ko na sa plate yung mga niluto ko, it doesn't look appetizing. Yung pancakes may itim itim yung iba mukha hilaw, may egg shells pa nga akong nakita! Yung spam sunog din tapos nadurog yung iba. Naglagay na din ako ng glass of water in case na mabulunan sya sa luto ko.

I went out of the kitchen and went straight to the beast's room. Umaga na and i hope hindi pa sya gising.

"Sht" i cursed. Ang hapdi ng sugat ko, ang sakit ng talsik ng mantika. Damn it!

I gently pushed the door and quickly placed the food tray on his study table. I need to go now.

*sobs*

I froze. I quickly glanced at the beast.

*sobs*

Lumapit ako sa kanya without even thinking na baka gising na sya or something, its like may sariling utak yung paa ko at biglang naglakad papalapit sa kanya.

He's crying while a sleep.

*sobs*

"Arielle please" he said.

I felt his pain. It's unbearable.

"Arielle"

*sobs*

My hands flew towards his cheeks and gently wipe his tears away. Nagulat na lang ako nung bigla nyang hawakan yung kamay ko.

"Arielle please, please help me get over you" he said between his sobs

I quickly remove my hands on his face and i run towards the door.

"Miss"

"Aalis na po ako" then i run palabas ng mansion.

I quickly got in my car and drove as fast as i could makaalis lang sa mansion.

Kahit ang hapdi ng kamay ko ang higpit pa rin ng hawak ko sa steering wheel, my fingers are bleeding again. Damn me!

I soon as i got home, iniwan ko na lang na naka park sa gilid yung sasakyan tapos pumasok na ako loob.

Nakasalubong ko pa si Alexandrei with his huge grin, not in the mood. Nilampasan ko sya then i locked myself up in my room. I jump on my bed and stared at the ceiling.

My fingers hurts but why do i feel so much pain? Its like I'm deeply wounded. I clutch my chest and then breathe deeply.

"I can't be hurting like this" i said.

"No, not with that beast"
