Two years ago, 2:34 pm
It wasn't Jinshil's first time trying to choke someone until his breath stops. It wasn't her first time watching a person bleed until the red substance completely seeps out of that person's body. It wasn't her first time watching a person die of natural causes. It wasn't her first time meeting a girl that had almost been beaten to death but still managed to survive.
It wasn't her first time to hold the cold, metallic surface of a gun, but not everyone knows that she's not innocent.
Right, Jinshil isn't innocent.
Growing up, she was the only odd one out.
She was the eccentric freak who had a different perspective on life. She never accepted compliments because she thought that they gave an individual a chance to judge another. She thought everyone was a dumb fool despite how many successful moments a person has had in his entire life.
Everyone she met has lost something and was afraid of everything, and she knew that everyone should be afraid of her.
The sharpened edge of the kitchen knife taunted Jinshil, provoking a wanted feeling of being able to see pain. To her, hearing someone in pain and smelling fear wasn't enough. Aside from feeling those things herself, she wanted to see those from someone else in pain. She wanted to see someone in fear.
She immediately turned her head to the terror-stricken Yumi with a devilish smirk.
The latter gulped after seeing the weapon on Jinshil's tight grip, swaying it around and around to tease and make the frail girl panic. But still, the lump on her throat didn't disappear, and she felt like she could choke on her own saliva and die at the sight of the deadly weapon.
"So.. Yumi.. you have two choices, it's either to drink bleach or get your head cut off. There aren't really much choices, you know, but don't you think it would be very fun if I see you die, Yumi? Everyone's 'innocent' flower who isn't really a virgin anymore, what a pity." Jinshil stated, gently running her finger across the sharp edge of the knife.
To Jinshil, Yumi wasn't even beautiful.
Someone with an extremely pale complexion, long black hair, frequently wounded skin, and an annoying small voice. She was that tortured individual whom everyone still loved, the one who runs down a sharp scissor's blade across her white skin without anyone knowing a thing. The one with the abusive mother, a lost parent, and the one who threw rocks at the edge of the cliff, wishing someone could hear her out.
"Why... did you kill him?" Yumi bowed her head down low and started to cry silently. She couldn't breathe, all she felt were invisible hands on her neck telling her to just die. "Why did you kill Woojin.. Jinshil, I love him. You love him.. too right?"
Jinshil scoffed.
"I couldn't let you be with him, sweetheart.. Just so you know, he will never be with someone like you. Suicidal, helpless, but beautiful." Jinshil's words faded in a whisper as she bent down and leaned closer to Yumi, her fingers landing under Yumi's chin as she kissed her cracked lips without any second thoughts.
After pulling away from the kiss, a devilish smile appeared on Jinshil's lips and then proceeded on pulling Yumi's hair as far as she could. Tears flowed down Yumi's eye sockets, just below the dark circles that formed under them because of the lack of adequate sleep.
Yumi has gotten crazy, extremely crazy because of the one an only Jinshil.
"You're my next victim for today, honey, any last words before I finally get rid of your existence?"
"Jinshil, don't fucking do this, I beg you. You will regret it, the pain of regret and guilt will be in your heart forever if you do this. Don't kill me..please." Yumi's voice cracked in between holding back the pain of stifling her sobs.
Jinshil's smile grew wider at her weakness, playing with the knife on her right hand while the other was still on Yumi's hair.
"That's all? Are you finished? Well then, this will be easy. This is for all the people who made my life the living hell.." Jinshil pulled her hair one last time, an agonizing scream escaping from Yumi's lips was heard around the neighborhood as she plunged the weapon in her stomach.
Jinshil felt the energy that day, the energy of the dead, the energy of the people who started her misery.
"This is for all the people who thought I couldn't do what I just did.."
Jinshil's gaze landed on the pool of blood coming out of the lifeless Yumi's back. Yumi's eyes were shut, no more breath coming out of her mouth.
"Rest in Peace."

Present Day, October 11, 4:56 pm
kwon jinshil.
I took a deep breath and slowly unclenched my fist, calming myself and telling myself not to make any stupid move that I'll regret. After the class had dismissed, I immediately saw Seolhee walking alone after everyone in her class had already come out of the classroom door.
She silently walked with her head bowed down, her fringe covering most of her face by this time. Her hands were securely wrapped around her bag straps.
Don't kill her at this moment, of course.
But I couldn't help it, I felt like everything that had happened from years ago are coming back to me again. I was a murderer for God's sakes, a sneaky murdery who had never left any evidence after the killing. I killed Woojin and Yumi, two lovebirds who had a tragic ending in their love story. As much as I regret it, I couldn't help but notice the similarities between Yumi and Seolhee.
That's why I tried to make up for it- instead of making the same mistake as before, I planned to save her. I couldn't let it happen again, I couldn't let the devil inside of me get the best of me again.
I don't want to kill another not-so-innocent soul and curse her to rot in hell.
But damn, loving Jungkook made me like this.
"S-Seolhee," I called her name out with a dry throat. She stopped in her tracks and spun around to look at me with a worried look on her face. The moment I saw her face, flashbacks started to haunt me one by one. Flashbacks from when Yumi was still alive.
But everything was similar. She had those badly concealed blemishes scattered around her pale and weak body, the long black hair, and the seemingly bad family background. Except now Seolhee has Jungkook.. the person I loved the most and decided to give up.
The same person who I competed with to save Seolhee.
"Want to come to the rooftop with me? We could hang out before you go home.. you know." These words managed to slip out of my mouth unknowingly, surprising me in the process. "I just want to talk about some things."
She blinked her eyes twice and hesitantly nodded her head, "Okay."
Jinshil, you fake-ass bitch. You actually want to kill her, don't you?
"Come with me." I said, trying hard not to stutter, holding her hand immediately and started to guide her upstairs. Oh God, I hope this goes well. I gently closed my eyes and took a deep breath once again, trudging my way up the stairs really slowly. An anxious feeling started to whirl around my stomach, the urge of killing starting to get the best of me again.
Jinshil, you're not a fucking saint. Cut it.
She stole what was yours.
She's not special at all. It was only Jungkook who made her feel like that. She was supposed to be dead.
Jungkook was supposed to be dead too.
You'd do anything to separate these two, right?
I gasped for air out of a sudden after we reached the toppest step of the stairs, and she came after me. She confusingly zoomed her face closer to mine, "Are you okay Jinshil? Your cheeks are very pale and your eyes... why are they so reddish? Are you okay?"
Well fuck it.
I quickly gathered up my senses and scurried towards her, slamming her against the wall using both of my hands. My hands were forcefully secured around her neck and pressed her closer to the wall, choking her bit by bit. Her eyes widened and she started to cough, her face turned a little purplish. I couldn't control it.
A devilish smile formed across my lips again, my gaze dropping on her dry ones, which all reminded me of Yumi and her last moments on Earth. My lips then collided with hers, her cracked lips grazing across my soft ones, wounding my lips a little. My hands were still on her neck, and she kissed back all so suddenly.
The way her lips moved was intoxicating me, but why the hell is she kissing me back?
She then hastily pushed me away with so much force, surprising me more than before.
Her hand then landed on my neck, and I was the one choking this time. The smirk from my lips was now transferred to her ones and she then dragged me towards the edge of the top of the staircase. I started to cough, I was so close to falling down the flight of stairs, half of my feet weren't even touching the ground. She then chuckled evily, something I didn't expect would come from her.
"I couldn't let you kill me Jinshil, not again."
