confessions

Hee-yong and Taehyung, having already come back to Seoul, waited patiently for the rest of the group to make it back from Busan. They had all planned to hangout for a while longer before returning to their normal schedules. Taehyung, although he was still shaken up, was feeling a lot better. He had slept on Hee-yong's comfy couch after staying up until nearly four in the morning watching movies. Hee-yong had been dead tired, but she didn't want to disappoint Taehyung.
The two of them waited for the rest of Bangtan at the ice cream shop where Hee-yong and Namjoon had first met. She had grown to love the place and her eyes were wide with awe as she absorbed her surroundings.
"You really like this place, don't you?" Taehyung asked with a chuckle. Hee-yong grinned at her friend and nodded.
"Did you know this is where I first met Namjoon?" She asked. Taehyung shook his head to signify that he hadn't known.
Hee-yong smiled and began to recount the tale.
"Me and Jin were just getting ice cream and we were sitting at this same spot and Jin had to use the bathroom so I was finishing my ice cream by myself when this strange dude showed up and asked if he could sit with me, and he was like, hot, so I couldn't say no!" Hee-yong exclaimed. Taehyung laughed at the girl's wild expression.
"I'm guessing the hot stranger was Namjoon?" He asked. Hee-yong nodded in confirmation and rubbed her face.
"Can I ask you something?" Taehyung suddenly asked. Hee-yong nodded and told him that he could ask her anything. Taehyung ran a hand through his soft hair, trying to piece his thoughts together before he spoke.
"Do you like Namjoon? And you have to be honest," he said. Hee-yong gulped in shock and recoiled from Taehyung's hard stare. She blushed a shade of bright red as she thought about the kiss she had given to Namjoon.
"Ummm," she began. Taehyung was trying his hardest not to giggle at Hee-yong's reaction, her face was giving away the answer but he still wanted her to say it. Taehyung wanted Hee-yong to confide in him like he had confided in her. He made a motion with his hand that told Hee-yong to keep going and she sighed nervously.
"I think I do, but I don't think he feels the same," she said. Her voice was timid but Taehyung was still able to catch the underlying sad tone to it. Taehyung couldn't help himself as he busted into laughter. The other customers who were lazing about and enjoying their creamy delicacies turned their attention to the laughing boy.
"Shut up, would you?" Hee-yong exclaimed and swatted at Taehyung's head. The boy put a hand over his mouth to muffle the laughter but his shoulders still shook. Hee-yong crossed her arms over her chest and huffed.
"I don't see what's so funny about my love life-" she paused and rethought her words.
"Or lack, thereof," she finished. Taehyung grinned at Hee-yong as he removed his hand from his face.
"It's just so funny because it's so obvious that Joon is like, in love with you," he said. The world stopped moving for Hee-yong. Her heart began beating rapidly in her chest as she processed her friend's words.
"There's no way," she whispered. Taehyung nodded his head.
"But he's acting like our kiss never even happened and-" Hee-yong began but Taehyung had cut her off.
"Wait, you two kissed?" He exclaimed. Hee-yong's face turned impossibly redder and she looked down in attempt to hide the raging blush.
"Um, a little bit," she said. Taehyung grinned like a little boy who had just received a present.
"Where?" He asked. Hee-yong sighed and told him that they'd kissed at the beach the first night of their trip to Busan.
Taehyung groaned.
"Bitch, no, I meant lips or cheek?" He clarified. Hee-yong giggled at his sassy words as she told him they'd basically had a make-out session.
"Oh, you're so gonna get married," Taehyung concluded. Hee-yong shook her head rapidly.
"Like I said, he's acting like our kiss never even happened and-"
Once again, Hee-yong was cut off before she could even finish her words.
"Who did you kiss?" A voice asked from behind Hee-yong. Taehyung's eyes widened as he finally realized they weren't alone. He smiled sheepishly at Hee-yong who glared daggers at him. Hee-yong didn't even have to turn around to know that it was Jimin who had asked the question but still, she stood up and turned around to face the boy but was blown back by the fact that it was not only Jimin there. All six of the boys stood there, with wide eyes. Hee-yong's jaw dropped at the sight of them. Jin pushed Jimin slightly and said,
"None of your business, pabo. Don't harass my sister," he said. Hee-yong was grateful for that and immediately rushed over to her brother and gave him a hug.
"Save me," she whispered, desperately wanting to get all the attention off of her. Even though Jin was still slightly bitter after seeing Namjoon and Hee-yong kissing, his sister was his world and he would ultimately do anything to make her happy.
"You lot should be more worried about the whooping you're about to take at paint ball," Jin said cockily. This coaxed the boys out of their shocked states and into defensive ones.
"You're going down, Seokjin," Yoongi said determinedly. Hee-yong smiled, actually excited to see how the paint ball match would play out. Namjoon stared at Hee-yong, feeling slightly betrayed.
'did she kiss someone else?' he wondered. He found himself becoming angry and jealous at the thought of Hee-yong's full lips coming in contact with anyone else's. He vowed then and there that he would get answers from Hee-yong soon. Very very soon.

Author's note:  wow, okay, so I've been writing a lot of just Taehyung and Hee-yong and it's not even on purpose, it's just Tae is gonna be a big part of everything that happens next and also those cute little fluffy best friend scenes are ADORABLE
You can't deny that. Anyway, though, Joonie is jeallllouuus and Jin is, too. That's a big oof, isn't it? What will happen next? Find out in next week's episode of Dragon Ball Z. OMG, let me stop playing. Thank you for reading. 💜
xx, Angel.
