1 9 I am My Own Friend

It was time to change classes and finally interact with other students, human students! I was not very excited about humans. I am not a fan of the mortal world. Lict, on the other hand, was acting extra gay that day. He was minutes away from squealing to death. He is such a girl.

"I hope it's finished soon." I had read that human teens were bad news. It was time to see if what books said was always true. Lict was about to open the classroom door when someone else opened it with so much force that it hit me on my nose.
"Are you okay, Milady?!" Lict asked as if he were blind. Of course, I was not okay. My nose might be one of the most beautiful parts of my face and I didn't want rhinoplasty any time soon.

"Who was it, Lict?"
"He's gone," He didn't even apologise! "Do you want me to go find him and bring him back to you."
Well, I couldn't be bothered.
"It's okay. Let it be." I walked inside and noticed that our uniform was pretty different from their uniform. Our uniform was blue and white, there was a dirty shade of red and white. They looked like zombie tomatoes, but I controlled my laughter because I read that human teens get depressed easily.

But was it already less troublesome to merge that they even gave us different uniforms? However, I'm not complaining since I'm a noble. And it would be shameful to my pride to wear the same clothes as them. They were noisy and sweaty. Swearing like a sailor and resembling the natural habits of a maggot chimpanzee breed, with a little bit of makeup plastered on the females. Honestly, makeup was the only difference I could see.

No, I'm joking.

They were more human than the humans I had read about. They looked at me and Lict and stopped abruptly. I couldn't stare back at them for I believed that they should feel grateful that I was resting my ass on the same chair as them. Lict sat beside me. I opened my notes of the magic class and began memorising the theory. Our next class was to be practical magic and I had no plans of embarrassing myself. You see, I planned to mind my own business but like a rose attracts insects, I attracted a prick.

A girl walked towards us. She was tanned, well, it was a weird way of getting tanned because her hands were as white as chalk powder. Yes, that's how fake it was but I decided not to point it out. I closed my notebook and looked at her.

She looked at my uniform.
"Are you the students of the third floor?" Mortal students weren't allowed on the third floor because that's where us demigods and star spirits had their magic classes. I simply nodded.
"I guessed it from your uniform." Well, congratulations Sherlock. I couldn't have figured that out. But wait, I shouldn't judge. What if she's colour-blind? This is a huge achievement.

"I think our uniform is still better than yours. Though the boy's uniform looks better." She smiled at Lict. See? That's why they tell you to vaccinate your kids.
"By the way, I'm Dasha Galkin."
Nobody asked.
"What's your name?" She asked Lict.
"I am Lict." He smiled.

"Nice name, Lict." Of course. The name I give will always touch the finest aesthetic qualities.
"Lict, did someone ever tell you you've got really pretty eyes?" She flirted with him.
"Not really," Lict chuckled.

Wait a second,
She's not a prick mortals, she's a professional thot! And she seems to be in season. I feel sad Lict, she chose you as a mate without even confirming if there's something between your legs. But I'm too busy to give two damns. Additionally, she was in her habitat, never offend a thot when they are in their zone because they are just one insult away from losing their mind. Lict might be naive but I knew exactly what she was doing. I had read too many books to reach such a level of accuracy in detecting human intentions. So, you want my star spirit?

"My name is Debora," Another girl introduced herself to Lict. Everyone was talking to him, while I was growing imaginary shells under my table. I don't need friends! I will be my own friend! Who needs mortals anyways?

"Hey," I heard and looked up. I saw a male mortal teenager. He had turned his chair and sat on it with his legs straddled around it, pressing his face on the back of that chair. He had shiny brown hair and light green eyes that looked at me like I was the only girl in the world. I turned nervous and blushed.

"I'm Grigory Stasevich."
"Hello, I'm Vierne Obolensky." This was a pretty normal introduction. This is not my style. Should I reintroduce myself properly? No, but then won't it look weird? What if he judges me as some weird girl and never talks to me again? But my pride!

He smiled, "Vierne? What a pretty name, suits you." Everyone needs this mortal.
"Grigory, what are you doing?" Dash or whatever her name was, said.
"Talking to a new student." Grigory replied the obvious.Like duh?
"Then, come talk to Lict."
"I think I like Vierne better," He looked at me. So, he likes me? Is it a confession?

"I—"
"She's a good person." Oh, that was dumb of me. Can't believe I was ready to deny it. I decided to do some self-depreciation while whatever her name was took Grigory away. Soon, the professor was there and our class started. She sat between Lict and me. I memorised her name—Dasha Bitch. Yes, I guess that was it? Grigory sat beside Lict while I; I sat beside Dasha Bitch. I was frustrated. But not for very long since maths soon took up my concentration. I was again minding my own business when she began a conversation.

"Oh, Vierne was it?" She asked and I nodded, "Could you please stay away from my boyfriend. Like, it's nice if you're a good person but Grigory is naturally kind to everyone so don't get it wrong."
"Grigory is your boyfriend?"
"We've been dating for six months."

She was so proud while saying six months as if it was the longest duration till which any of her relationships worked out. And why is it that every guy I like is taken? Like damn, how cursed am I? And if you have a boyfriend you're so possessive about, then why were you flirting with Lict a while ago? What are you looking for—A one point five penetration? Cause that's all Lict and Grigory together can give you and you rats know who the half was for.

She just wants every guy to herself, doesn't she? I just looked at her with such a disgusted face that for once even she checked if she were really a human or a worm. God, what have you done? You transformed apes to make this?! Heck, even gorillas are more loyal than this supposedly civilised ape.
"You've got something to say? Speak up." She challenged me.

I will, once you're finished shoving every penis into your mouth. I tried to speak this but I couldn't speak. "Nothing," I finally said. I decided to pay attention to my lecture because I was visiting the school for education, not for finding love interests. After the class was over, Lict came to me.

"Milady, you've got the practical class next, right?" He asked as he looked at me.
"Yes. What about you?"
"Theory again." He groaned. I'll admit, the theory is boring. Well, not until I get to see Lord Akagi.
"Sad," I smirked. Seeing Lict sulk was one of my sadistic pleasures.

"Lict, do you want to have lunch together?" Dasha asked as she clung to his arm around his and pressed his breast against it. To be honest, I cringed. Why press your chest when everybody knows you have nothing there. I bet all Lict can feel is her ribs. Like—There's no meat. If I were a man, I'd like my women thick. "Sure," Lict agreed. They both walked ahead of me while Grigory slowly paced down to match my footsteps, "Which class?"

What should I answer?

"...Russian literature." I wonder if I was audible.
"Oh same here. Should we go together?"
"It's a," I paused. Again? What was wrong with me? But I forced myself to speak, "A special class." I whispered.
"Oh, you mean it's on the third floor." How can he hear me so well? I turned towards him. He was close. Our eyes met and I blushed.

"Sorry, I can't hear you from afar since you speak so softly. I hope you don't mind it, I don't want to be creepy." He smiled. Well, duh. You did scare me though. I smiled back. Suddenly, Lict grabbed my arm, "You're getting late, Milady." He said.

"Milady?" Grigory said.
"Oh, I almost forgot. I'll run!" And I ran without looking behind. Lict was glowing slightly golden. Was he happy or angry—I don't know. But what I do know is that it felt good.
