Head pounding, eyes squinting,

Take a break from the screen.

Shut it down, turn it off,

Step away from the machine.

Reunite with the living.

Forsake the lifeless and dead.

Get some rest, close your eyes,

And go back to bed.

Wake up the next morning

Alive and refreshed.

Have a meal, take a bath,

Remember to get dressed.

Take a seat at the front

And listen to Him speak.

Open your heart, your mind,

And you'll find what you seek.

Bow down before the King.

Repent and confess!

And with thine own mouth

Thou shalt profess

That God the Father

Hath raised Him from the dead.

Jesus Christ took our cross

And carried it instead.

He died a cruel death

Up there at Calvary's tree.

He shed His blood and paid the price

So you and I could be free.

If you believe in your heart

That what He did was true,

And that it is enough

To redeem me and you,

Then thou shalt be saved

According to His Word,

And a place in Heaven

For you shall be reserved.

To be honest, I was quite nervous to post this poem since it might cause a controversy, issue, or anything similar among the readers. I'm well aware that other people have other beliefs and that we are all different. You might agree, you might not agree, or you might feel neutral about it.

My goal here is to share God's Word to other people. That's the reason why I wrote this story in the first place. I want to warn others about the dangers of sin and the the impending doom that awaits them in the afterlife if they do not repent and come to the Lord. Don't believe me?
