She stood before me,
Dressed in black and gold.
The savage look in her eyes
Could make anyone fold.
A deep growl rumbled
From the depths of her throat.
Her claws were deadly sharp,
A set of knives to boast.
Hunger and pride oozed out.
Such an ominous vibe!
And the faint scent of bloodlust
That no one can describe.
She herself is destruction,
The fall of great men.
And now I must face her
Right here in her own den.
Come at me, you foul beast!
Let's finish this at once.
I'm tired of succumbing
To your every need and want.
This time, I won't fall.
I won't get down on my knees!
I'll stand my ground amidst the storm
Like the mighty oakwood trees!
The beast lunged forward,
Heading straight for my neck.
We thrashed, clashed, and wrestled
Till I was wounded and wrecked.
But I won't give up.
The battle is nearly won.
So I will never stop
Until what I've started is done.
I raised my sword high
And with a thunderous roar,
I battled the beast
Till she was breathing no more.

Fun Fact: Golden tigers do exist!
Don't believe me? Search up 'golden tabby tigers', and you'll see what I mean. They're soooo cute (but deadly). Oh and do you know? Their fur is much softer than their orange counterparts. Yes, it's stated in the poem that she's dressed in black and gold, but do you know that they have lighter stripes than regular tigers? Also, they're not an entirely other kind of tigers. The way they look is due to genetic mutation.
That's it for out fun fact today. Stay beautiful, dear lovelies!
