Hello, I've the pleaure of interviewing one of the characters from Mr Blind Date. Please tell us your name.

Charmed to meet you. I'm Ed Hardy, chief of Dazzle Designing Firm. To be honest, I think the name of the company sounds incredibly corny.

How old are you?

I'm 26 years old.

Describe your personality in 5 words.

Funny. Considerate. Stubborn. Annoying. Possessive.

Okay, those are kind of contradictory.

Are you single or taken?

Taken. My heart has been captured by Chloe Manson. Nothing has to be said further.

How do you fall in love? Instantly or does it take time?

Instantly. Somehow, if I don't "love" someone at first sight, the feelings don't get cultivated over time. Same thing with Hannah. I tried spending time with her but nothing came out of it.

What was your childhood like?

Tough. Though we were rich, my mum (Eleanor) was hard on us and after my dad died, we were under so much pressure and stress because my mum couldn't cope with the family business and was admitted to a psychiatric ward. Until Adrian appeared in our lives. He's a life-saver.

Do you think Chloe and you are too different?

Not really. I think our personality clicks. Of course, there are certain differences. For example, Chloe thinks it's wasteful for me to buy her gifts but I want to. It's kind of impossible to persuade her. She's a really stubborn person *laughs* but I love everything else about her.

What's your relationship with Adrian like?

He's a really warm and kind person. I really appreciate a father figure in my life. Of course, I never knew he was Chloe's father and had abandoned her when she was young. I know his actions were atrocious but people have done things they have regretted in the past. But does this mean they don't deserve forgiveness? No. Chloe understands that as well.

How does it feel like to have your love story with Chloe read by so many people around the world?

Frankly speaking, it freaks me out. I'm a businessman and I do have a iron reputation to maintain and I don't want to be seen as a love-struck man by my clients. Still, this is a love story that should be shared. I hope the other couples out there can draw inspiration from it.

When you first saw Chloe, what did you think of her?

As all of you know, I met here on a blind date. I was half-expecting some crinkly old woman to appear but when I saw her flustered, flushed face at Starbucks, I was a little awestruck. She isn't supermodel-like pretty and she will probably kill me for saying that *laughs* but she has a natural warmth to her.

How is Chloe different from Hannah?

Are you kidding me? Do you even need to ask that?

Besides Chloe and Hannah, what other girls have you dated?

I've had a couple of flings. Nothing serious and of course, they didn't work out because either our personalities clashed or they were just after my money. One girl demanded that I buy a summer house for her the day after I met her. Pretty shameless, if you ask me.

Who's your best friend?

My best friend isn't Jack. We were never close because he's overly competitive and flirty so I tend to steer clear of her. The closest acquaintence I had was my female cousin from my mother's side: Autumn Young. We went to university together and she's working as a journalist in the UK right now and she adores Chloe.

If you could change one thing about yourself, physically or personality wise, what would it be?

Maybe a little less possessive about Chloe. I can't help it but constantly worry if she's getting into trouble. She's kind of a danger magnet.

How was your honeymoon with Chloe?

Fabulous. Venice was beautiful of course but we spent most of the time in our bedroom *winks* if you get what I mean. Chloe's hoping for a 2nd child because Athena's such a wonderful and adorable baby.

Describe where you are living now.

New York City. In a private apartment. I also own properties in other parts of the States and UK as well. I'm back at my work and Chloe's decided to take time off to just take care of the child.

Describe life right now.

Exciting. With Chloe with me to spice things up, nothing's boring anymore.

What's your most embarrassing moment? (Reader's Question!)

*laughs* I wish I never had any embarrassing moments but that's impossible. Last week, I had to go lingerie shopping with Chloe. I was forced to, like all other men. So I watched Chloe disappear into the changing room and I picked out this black lingerie set. I went to the door and slipped it underneath the hole and told her in my sexiest voice, "I want to see you in this."

I mean, I thought it would get really romantic and lusty until Chloe came out from ANOTHER changing room. She looked at me all weirdly and I was just staring at her in shock. At that moment, the women (whom I had passed the lingerie set to) came out of the changing room and said, "Is this yours?" She held up the lingerie set and I was utterly humiliated.

Chloe refused to speak to me for a week even though I maintained that it was an accident.

Really.

Why were you on a blind date to begin with? (Reader's Question)

For the majority part of my adult life, I had on-and-off relationships with women and I wasn't that committed to a relationship. The furthest one I've gone through was with Hannah and as you all know, that didn't end well. I wanted to forget her betrayal and truly find someone who loved me.

But it wasn't easy. The women I've met were all self-absorbed and utterly money-minded so I signed up for a blind date as a last resort. Just look how it turned out ;)

How would raise your child? (Reader's Question)

You probably can't tell but I'm the laxer parent here. Chloe's the tigress. She has already planned out Athena's schedule the moment she can speak. For me, I think it's alright as long as my daughter has a happy childhood and doesn't resent us parents.

I don't want a spoilt child, looking at how Jack and Hannah have turned out. I don't want a cocky child either because she would just be a douche. But you can't control these things sometimes.

If you could rate yourself on the scale of 1-10, where are you on the skills of making love? (Reader's Question: Horny alert!)

Haha, that would depend on who you ask. I fancy myself as an 8-9 maybe but Chloe would probably say that I'm 1 but you shouldn't listen to her. There must be a reason why we spend so much time in the bedroom. *laughs*

Will you keep us updated on how things are going between everyone? (Reader's Question)

Sure thing. Though to be honest, nothing much has changed. Athena's growing at an alarming rate every single day and we recently celebrated her first birthday.

Jack has a few more years to go before he's released from prison but the last time I went to see him, he looks fine. Probably more withdrawn but nonetheless healthy. He hasn't gotten over Hannah's death though.

Eleanor recently quitted her day job to establish an orphanage. She has decided to leave the corporate world for good. Chloe was really shocked when she heard that. Things are still tense between Chloe and Eleanor but they are getting along okay.

Fred and Zoe recently got married and Zoe's expecting a little boy though she's still as wild as ever.

Derek recently applied for leave and he's going on a round-the-world tour with Marilyn.

Would you save your Mum or Chloe?

*laughs* That's a trick question, isn't it? But seeing how Chloe can swim, I will go for saving my Mum.
