Crystal rain drops kiss my skin, 

The silver moon glows on. 

The time of my life now begins, 

I must leave you all on your own.

From the writings etched on the wall,

To the ink inside my veins. 

I am thankful for it all,

But it's started to cause me pain. 

Time doesn't slow for anyone, 

And sadness looms nearby, 

I know that I have finally won.

It's time to say goodbye. 

Hey guys, it's been so long! As the end of the year is drawing to a close, I've reflected and come to the conclusion that poetry writing is no longer for me. I'm eternally grateful for the amazing people, support and experiences that I have had throughout this year. I began writing poetry at quite a tough time in my life but as I move forward I find it to cause me more pain. Who knows maybe one day I will write again but for now this is the end of my journey. I wanted to write one more poem for you guys to signify the end and just to thank you guys for everything you have given me. I wish all of you the best in both your writing and life and remember to keep smiling because you are all beautiful xx
