Gray POV
Ever since the...incedent with Ur, things have been going smoothly. Yup. Thats what I wish I could say. Things have been going bad. And really bad. We have no money, no food, no shelter, and Mari's sick. Really sick. I have no money for medicine. All I can do is carry her and hope to run across a guild.
"Um, excuse me, do you know where the nearest wizard guild is?" I asked laying on the charm.
"Sorry kid. Not one in this town. I think there are a couple in Magnolia though. Try there." The guy said. Great. I walked away holding Mari's cold body in my arms.
"Don't worry. We're going to get you help soon. How are you feeling?" I asked.
"I *cough cough* worse and worse each minute*cough cough*. In fact, I th-think i'm gonna!" She didn' even finish her sentence before throwing up.
"We need to get you help. Fast." I ran and I ran for what felt like hours. When night finally rolled around, my legs gave in.
"Can't go anymore." I said collasping.
"Are you okay?" An old man said to me. He was tiny. No more than 3 feet tall.
"No. I've been running all day and my little sister is extremley sick." I said not moving from my position on the ground.
"I'm sorry to hear that boy. You can stay at my guild for the time being. My name is Makorov. Master of the Fairy Tail guild. We can nurse you're sister back to health. Come" he said to me. No one had been this welcoming to me since Ur...left.
"G-Gray? I feel a little embarrased to say this but, I'm c-c-cold." Mari shivered.
"And might I ask what your names are?" Makorov asked.
"Gray. Gray Fullbuster. This is my baby sister. Mari. Our village was destroyed when I was only nine. Then our master, Ur, found us in the debris. She took us in and taught us magic. Then, my ego got the best of me. I challenged delliorah by myself. I was helpless against it. I would be dead by now of Ur didn't giver her life to save mine." I explained.
"Slow down kiddo! I only asked your name!" Makorov chuckled. After a while of walking, we came across this building. It was big enough, and it had this emblem hanging from the top.
"Come on. Lets get you something to eat and fix up you're sister." He said with a smile on his face.
"Thanks." We walked inside and I didn't see anything:well, more like didn't notice anything. I just followed Makorov to the infirmary and layed her down.
"Don't worry. You're in good hands." I said to her sleeping body. I walked out and sat down at the bar.
"Ya new here kid?" A man with purple hair asked.
"Yea. Names Gray." I said. Then a girl maybe 12 years old came up behind the bar and said,"Gray! Your clothes!"
"Huh? GAAH!!" I quickly scrambled around the guild looking for my shirt. I found it and quickly put it back on. Then I accidently bumped into some girl with long white hair and sorta a gothic look.
"Hey watch where you're going ya little streaker." She spat.
"Mira! Don't be so mean to a new member!" Another girl with short white hair said. The other girl, Mira, just gave me a glare before looking away
"I'm Lisanna! I'm sorry about my sister. Mira. She's a bit on the negative side." Lisanna said.
"Gray. And to be clear, I'm not really a member. Your master said I could crash here while my sister is healing." I said.
"Oh no! What happend to your sister?" She asked with her face painted in concern. Ah. She's the kind of girl who care's about everyone. Friend or enemy.
"Sick. We've been on our own for a few days. She came down with a raging fever. She's in the infirmary now. If you want I can take you to meet her!" I said. She nodded and we walked toward the infirmary. I opened the door and saw her talking to the master.
"I'll get the stamps immediatly. Now you stay here and rest. Oh. Hi Gray. Lisanna. Lisanna this is Mari. Our newest member along with Gray!" Master said.
"Hi Lisanna! I'm Mari! I hope we can be good friends!" Mari said. And just like that, They became the best of friends. After a few days, Mari was out of the infirmary and we were official members of fairy tail. Lisanna and Mari were inseperable. Also, a pink haired kid came into the guild today.
"Hi! I'm Natsu! I'm looking to join a guild." He said.
Mari POV
I was with my best friend Lisanna (well, When I wasn't with Lisanna, I was with Cana) when a pink haired boy walked through the door. Wait, when I was out with Ur a few weeks ago, I saw this kid in the park. We didn't take Gray or Lyon. We just had a girls day. This kid helped me down from a tree because I was too scared to jump and Ur was in the bathroom.
"Natsu!?" I yelled.
"Hey Mari! Long time no see! Still got a fear of heights?" He smirked and I blushed. I don't like admitting my fears. It makes me feel weak.
"You didn't have to tell everyone that!" I yelled.
"Hehe. Sorry." He said scratching his neck.
"You have a fear of heights? I didn't know that." Gray said. I felt especially bad for not telling Gray.
"Hey, Lis, I have to go." I ran off holding back my tears. Now all I could think about is cliffs and flight magic. I ran to the library and hid myself in the magic history section. No one ever goes in there.
"Um, are you alright?" I looked up and saw a short girl with blue hair and an orange headband looking at me.
"What, yea. I'm fine." I lied. I felt my eyes wandering. It always happens when I lie
"If you're going to lie, at least put some effort into it." She said holding a hand out. I took it and she helped me up. "I'm levy!" She said with a huge smile on her face.
"Mari! so, you like reading?" I asked. She nodded vigorously. We wandered the library and found we had a lot in common. She loved reading, I loved reading, her favorite food was ramen with shrimp and chicken (A:N chicken and shrimp ramen is the best food you will ever eat) my favorite food was ramen with shrimp and chicken, she was a few years older than me. She even taught me how to speak in an ancient language. When we left the library, we found Gray and Natsu brawling with Mira flirting with some blonde guy and Elfman and Lisanna trying to break up the fight.

I can stop this! I created a sheet of ice between the two and had it push them two seperate directions.

"If you can't play nice you can't play together." I said smacking Gray and Natsu over the head.
"You're awfully sassy for a 8 year old." Gray said re-positioning his jaw. Natsu was trying to put his neck back in place.
"Gray, your clothes!" Cana said coming out from a barrel of wine.
"Awe man! Again!?" Gray started scrambling around for his clothes. I just started laughing alongside the rest of the guild. I rubbed my guild mark: which was on my hip, and smiled.

I could get used to this
