Ur POV
"LYON! Come on we have to keep looking!" I yelled at my student Lyon. He had a warm, Kind heart but was too confident to show it. Thats when I saw a little boy under what I assume used to be a house. I thought he was dead, but I saw his hand move.
"LYON!!! WE HAVE A SURVIVOR!" I yelled. Lyon came rushing to my side and then straight toward the little boy.
"Hey! Are you alright?! Can you hear me?" Lyon said right next to him. He slowly began to open his eyes.
"Lyon! Help me get the debris off him!" Me and Lyon used ice to slide the debris off the little boy. Thats when I saw a little girl under him.
"M-M-Mari." The boy said weakly.
"Huh?" Lyon said. The boy quickly snapped and got up and picked up the little girl under him.
"G-G-Gray?" She said softly
"It's okay Mari. I'm right here." The girl started to cry.
"Who are you?" The boys asked.
"My name is Ur and this is my student Lyon. We heard about delliorahs attack on this village and we came searching for survivors. You are the only ones we've found." I explained.

"Who's D-deli-" the little girl started.

"Delliorah. A demon from the book of Zeref. This monster is the one who destroyed your village." I explained. Gray got a look colder than ice on his face.

"Whats your name?" Lyon asked.

"Gray. This is my sister. Mari." Gray said.

"Well Gray, how would you like to stay with us for the time being. I can give you shelter, and teach you both magic." I offered. I see a light inside Mari and a Darkeness inside Gray. They both have the potential to be amazing wizards.

"Mari, is that okay with you?" Gray asked. Mari looked up at Gray, then at me, then Lyon, we all gave her warm, supporting smiles, and she nodded, and so did Gray.

"Great. We can head to the market now to get you some new clothes-" I started to say but Gray cut me off.

"Wait, one thing. Mari got really hurt during the attack. Can we please get her help first?" Thats when I notices a huge rock in her side. I gasped and walked up to her.

"Now this might hurt a bit but I need you to stay strong. Can you do that for me?" I said. She nodded.
I grabbed the rock from her side and slowly pulled it out. She started to cry but I just had to ignore it.

"I'm right here Mari." Gray said to her. When the rock was out, I covered it with ice to stop the bleeding.

"That should help until we get to the hospital" I said. Her crying slowed down a little. "We're going to get you help. Okay?" I said. She reached her arms out to me, showing that she wanted me to carry her. Gray passed her over to me and I picked her up. I just realized how beautiful she was. She had stormy grey eyes and long,  jet black hair.

"Thank you for helping me miss." She said with a timid voice.

"Call me Ur. Come on lets get you to the hospital." We walked to the hospital and Gray and Mari were taken in immediatly. Lyon walked up to me in the waiting room and sat down next to me.

"You did a good thing today Ur." He said to me. I pulled him in for a hug.

"Gray and Mari?" The nurse said to the waiting room. Me and Lyon stood up and walked over to her.
"I'm with them."

"You're lucky you got here when you did. Any longer and their wounds probably would have gotten infected. They both needed stitches but otherwise they're good to go" the nurse said. I thanked her and a few minutes later, Gray and Mari came through the door. 

"How are you feeling?" I asked them.
"I feel better now! Thank you Ur!" Mari giggled. She's so cute.

"Yea. Thanks. Lets just go to your place." Gray said and stormed out. I picked up Mari and quickly followed him.
Time skip 2 years
"Very good Mari! Now Gray, Lyon, do it like Mari." I said. She truley is an Ice make prodigy and she's only seven! Gray's really good too but not as good as his sister. Lyon, he truley is a great wizard, but he just wont learn.
"Okay now ready, like me. ICE MAKE SHIELD!" I yelled and ice came out of the ground. Everyone quickly did the same. "Okay. I think thats enough for today. It's getting late." We all went inside and I tucked Gray, Lyon, and Mari into bed. As usual, Gray and Mari cuddled up. I went into my room and slipped on something. I look down, and see Ultears old nightgown. I miss her so much. I felt something wet on my cheek. Tears. I hugged the shirt and started to sob.
Mari POV
I heard a loud crash outside my room. I got up being careful not to wake up Gray or Lyon. Lyon is really nice to me. He's like my brother, but not a better brother then Gray. I walked to where I heard the noise and saw Ur on the ground, crying, and holding something to her chest.

"Ur, why are you crying?" I asked. She turned around and wiped the tears from her face.

"I just miss my daughter. Thats all" she said. Now, I may only be seven, but I can tell her smile is fake.

"I can be your daughter. I'm not saying I want to replace your daughter, but I dont have a mommy or daddy anymore. And I see you as my new mommy, and Lyon is like my brother. In a way, we're all one big family." I said. She got up and walked toward me. I thought I had said something wrong, but she hugged me. I hugged her back.

"I guess we are a family. I don't see you as replacement for my daughter, but I guess you are pretty close. Thank you Mari. You've brought a smile back to my face." I felt something wet on my back. Ur was crying again.

"Come on. Lets go back to bed. I can tell you're tired." Ur said. I yawned and went back to my bed and cuddled up with Gray again.

"Good night Ur. I love you!" I said before drifting off to sleep.

"I love you too"
