Second Chance at First Line
Dear Juliet, I will find out what or who did this to you. No matter the cost. You don't deserve to be like this.
Juliet finally went to school. She had to go because of lacrosse and her classes. The more she stayed, the more behind she was and she did not want to go through of the stress adding on. It was lacrosse practice and she went to the girl's locker room and changed. As she was putting on my gear, I heard the door slam. She jumps, starts scanning the room.
"Isaiah?" She said as she saw him in the corner. "What are you doing here?"
"What do you remember that night in the woods?" His eyes widen. She felt creeped out. Was he one to her?
"That I was almost dead and some person attacked me." She stayed cool, not letting him, know that she on to him.
"Good luck out there." He gulped. He's worried about something, is it her?
"Thanks." He left and she went to the boy's locker room. Scott started to take off his gear in a hurry. "Hey, Scott are you okay?" Stiles passed by but he came back as he sees thats he's freaking out.
"Did you apologize to Allison?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"About what?" Juliet said.
"Scott left her by herself at the party," Stiles told her about last night. She knew that Scott would never leave her alone. Oh, wait it was the full moon. Right.
"Did she give you a second chance or.." She asked Scott who looked out of it.
"Yeah."
"Yeah! Alright, so everything's good!" Stiles celebrated. He walked away. She heard Scott's heartbeat, beating faster and faster.
"Calm down." She said to him, getting closer to him so nobody would hear.
"No." Scott said out of nowhere. Stiles then came back.
"No?" He popped up.
"Remember the Hunters?" There are hunters. They have been doing this for centuries. Juliet couldn't believe it. They were telling her this now. Since she's a hybrid, pretty sure that she's gonna be hunted. they'll probably mount her on their fireplace, since she one of a kind. Juliet crossed her arms and looked at the guys. "Her dad is one of them."
"Her dad?" Allisons dad!
"Shot me..."
"Allison's father?" She repeated to make sure that it made sense.
"With a crossbow." Scott looked scared.
"Allison's father..." Juliet and Stiles said at the same time. That cant be true, but by the look Scott had, no know he wasn't lying.
"Yes, her father! Oh, my god." Scott started to panic. "Oh my god,"
"No Scott, come on." Stiles and Juliet help Scott snap out of it.
"Snap back. You okay?" Stiles asked him.
"He didn't recognize you, right?" She stood in front of him as she asked him.
"No, no, no, I don't think so..."
"Does she know about him?"
"Oh, yeah, I don't know. What if she does?" They heard the whistle blow. "This is gonna kill me, man."
"Okay, focus on lacrosse, okay?"
"Here, Scott, take this. Listen to what Stiles said." She gave Scott his shirt and gear so he can put them on. "That's all you gotta do, yeah?"
"Lacrosse..."
"Here we go!" Stiles patted Scott on his shoulder.
"Go lacrosse!" She cheered, voice cracking as she was nervous to be even near Allison. Stiles and her almost tripped and went outside.
"Let's go! One-on-ones from the top! Jackson, Juliet, take a long stick today." Juliet ran to get a long stick and went out on the field. "Attagirl! Attaboy!" Coach yelled at them. She couldn't believe that she had to stand next to Whittemore. Why can't she be with Stiles and Scott? Juliet got in her position, ready to tackle down the players. She tackled them one by one, Jackson literally did everything she I try to do something.
"Make it stop." She whispered to herself. Juliet heard something rushing. "Coach I need a break." She ran out of the field.
"What why!" He yelled.
"I'm not feeling so good." He sighed and pointed to the locker room. She ran in there. "Stop! Stop it!" She slammed the sink over and over again. She saw her eyes turn red. She felt two hands grab her arms and pushed her back. "Let me go!"
"When was the last time you fed?" Isaiah told her, standing in front of her. "When!"
"I don't know what you mean!" She yelled in pain. He pulled a bag of blood out of his backpack and tossed it to her. Demetri let her go. She ripped the bag open and drank it all.
"If she stayed any longer on that damn field, we could've been exposed! Hunters will hunt us again." Isaiah yelled. She wipes the blood from her lips.
"Who's idea was to turn her into a hybrid!" Demetri yelled back. "I'm sick and tired of your games!" He turned around and saw her.
"What happened?"she blacked out from her turning.
"You were hungry," Demetri told her. "Since you haven't eaten anything, it's going to be harder for you to control. You're not playing that game Saturday."
"But I'm first line."
"Not anymore." Isaiah told her.

Today wasn't the worst day, Scott hurt Jackson. actually That's the best news she has ever gotten. Sbe sat down at her desk and did her homework. She listened to music to keep her mind off of it.
"Hey. Late shift for me again." My mom said as she came into her room. "But I am taking Saturday off to see you and your brother play your first game."
"No, mom. You can't do that." She mumble.
"Oh, no, I can and I will." She walked towards her and leaned over to see what she was doing. She looked at her paintings and poetry that was hanging on the desk. "Come on, one shift isn't going to break us. Not completely."
"I literally see you at work almost everyday." She turned to her. "then again at home. I think its okay to be away from the game."
"Hey, what's wrong with your face?" She jumped. Juliet started to worry. What? What was on it? Her hands ran up her face and touched it. maybe there is still dried blood. "You look like you haven't eaten. You look so pale." Well maybe because shes a hybrid and needs blood and she's stressed out about it.
"Uh, it's nothing. I'm just stressed."
"Just stress? Nothing else?"
"Homework. AP classes."
"I mean it's not like you're on drugs or anything, right?" She gave her a worried laugh.
"Not yet?"
"Not yet? I'm sorry what do you mean by 'not yet?' Have you ever taken drugs?"
"Mom, I'm not doing drugs." She told her. "Have you?" She stood there quietly. She tsk at her and kissed her forehead.
"Eat something." She told Juliet before she left the room. Juliet banged her head against the desk. She heard a crash from Scott's room. He probably fell down.He was always clumsy. She went back to writing but heard a knock on on window.
"Demetri?" She squinted at the boy who climb up to her window. She walked to her window and opened it. "What are you doing here?"
"Can I come in?" He asked.
"You have to be allowed in?" He nodded. "Come in." He jumped into my room and I closed my window.
"Juliet, I'm sorry for what my brother did. Turning you into this."
"Are you here to tell me not to play Saturday? My mom is so excited to see me and my brother play."
"You can't p" He stops mid sentence. "There's someone here," he said. "Who's here?"
"Just Scott and me. My mom just left for work." He shook his head.
"No, a Hale." He growled. He knows Derek?
"I don't know any Hale." She said. She know of Derek Hale but doesn't like know him. She meet him once. "I need to play Saturday."
"You can't."
"Then train me," she demanded. He shook his head. Is this that all he knows to do is shake his head no. "Your brother made me into this, now you guys have to deal with me. Do it."
"You're different."
"Please, I'm begging you. Teach me how to stay in control of my thirst." He sighed. "Please."
"Controlling is hard to do. But if you get it by Saturday, fine." She sighed. Thank you. "I have to leave, I need to speak to Isaiah about the incident." All she saw was a blur. Did he run or fly? she I do that?
Juliet woke up the next morning, and Scott told her that he won't be playing tomorrow night's game. Juliet only have till tomorrow to learn to control her thirst.
"So you're playing tomorrow night? What did you do? Seduce my brother?" Isaiah told her as he followed her to class.
"Why am I talking to you? You're the one that snapped my neck." She rolled my eyes. "You owe me this."
"Aren't you quite a fire cracker?" She walked into her class. Just this class and couldn't wait to eat lunch. She sat down and Isaiah sat down next to her. Juliet couldn't focus on what she was learning because he was staring at her.
"Can you not stare at me?" She whispered to him.
"How are you going to control? It's going to be harder than you think." He leaned back and started to write down the problem on the board.
"Ms. McCall, you haven't even solved your problem?"
"You have no clue, sir." She copied down the problems. That was the longest class she ever had. Stiles pulled her and Scott over and they hid around the corner. "What now Stiles!"
"Come here, one of you tell what they're saying." she saw sheriff Stilinski talking to the principal. she felt like Scott was listening so she didn't do anything. "Can you hear them?"
"Shh!" Juliet and Stiles backed away from Scott. "Curfew because of the body."
"Unbelievable. My dad is out looking for a rabid animal while the jerkoff who actually killed the girl is just hanging out, doing whatever he wants."
"You can't exactly tell your dad the truth about Derek?" She told him.
"I can do something."
"Like what?"
"Like find the other half of the body." Her eyes widen, not a chance. She was not going out looking for the body and maybe getting herself killed in the woods. It's been a rough week for her already.
"Are you kidding?" She walked with Stiles.
"What are you doing with your thirst control?"
"Tonight, I'm getting help." She sighed.
"Not the Hastings! Juliet, remember they are the ones that turned you into this!" He moved his arms up and down.
"They're the only ones that can help."
"Oh my god!"
