Scoot and I sat the car outside of the hospital. I plugged in some music so I can keep my mind off Stiles.

"He's gonna fine." Scott said as he looked out the window.

"What if-" we saw Stilinkski and our parents pulling Stiles into the hospital. I quickly reacted and ran to them. We had to sit down until Stilinski told us what had happened. Lydia had came to the hospital. We spent 2 hours waiting. Stilinski had came out of the room. I sat up from my chair.

"He's sleeping now. And he's just fine. He doesn't remember much. It's a bit like a dream to him. Thank you." He looked at my dad.

"It was that repellent we sprayed in the coyote den to keep other animals out. I couldn't go near it without my eyes watering. It's just a good thing he mentioned it over the phone."

"No, it was more than that. Thank you."

"It was a lucky connection."

"McCall, can you shut up please and accept my sincerest gratitude." Stilinski was so annoyed with my dad, that he just put his hand out to end the conversation.

"Accepted." My dad shook his hand.

"All right, you three. You've got school in less than six hours. Go home. Go to sleep." My mom said. I kissed my mom goodbye and the three of us walked away from the grownups.

"I don't know what happened. I was so sure." Lydia had told herself as she looked back.

"Yeah, I wasn't much help either. Doesn't matter, he's okay." I choked on my words. Lydia had turned her head, looking for a sounded of kind. I put my hand on her arm.

"Lydia, Do you hear something?" Scott stopped to look at her. Lydia shook her head and gave us a small smile.

"No. I didn't hear anything." We helped her walk to her car. Then I had drop off Derek's car at the loft and Scott and I went home to sleep. Later on, we went to school. I was looking for Isaiah and Demetri but I couldn't find them. I had left them tons of text messages and voicemails. Since I had a free period, I spend that time in the library. I made my way to the library and I saw Derek.

"Oh god." The final bell rang. Derek looked at me and smiled.

"Hey."

"Hi." I looked around the halls. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for Kira." I put on my hybrid hearing to find her.

"Come with me." I grabbed his hand and we went to the first floor and what when we found her.

"Scott. Hey." Kira waved, but Scott had walked away,

"He's a little preoccupied. But I can help you." Derek spoke out. Kira turned around as quickly as a second.

"Why would you want to help me?" Kira asked Derek.

"Because I want you to tell me everything that happened at the power station with William Barrow. Actually, I want you to show me." Kira looked at me, saying if she should trust him, I nodded and we had left school.

"You guys look quite a good looking couple." Kira told us as we got out of the car.

"We dated." I told her.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"Don't sweat it." I looked at the place where we saved Kira from Barrow. "So wait, you're a kitsune?"

"Yeah." I nodded. Vampires, Kitsunes, Kanimas, Werewolves, Hunters, every supernatural creatures are true. Wow.

"Let's go." We followed Derek inside.

"It was around here, I think. But everything kind of looks the same now." We walked around the place. I walked around, I found a scratch. I looked to see a bat stuck in between this lighting box. Kira and Derek followed me. "What is that? Is that a baseball bat?"

"It's Stiles's bat." I grabbed the bat and followed the scratch. The bat had dragged me back to the box. Derek grabs me.

"It's magnetized." Derek said as he saw the beat. I turned around at Kira.

"Kira, I'm going to need you to tell me everything you know about foxfire." My phone rang shortly after.

Scott: Stiles needs you. Come by the hospital by 6. They're taking an MRI scan.

I looked at the clock. 6:00. Crap.

"What?" Derek asked.

"I have to go. It's Stiles."

"Is he okay?"

"Yeah, he just needs me." I ran out of the room. I can't believe that the hospital is so far. I can't use my speed because there's people around me. "Fine." After 20 minutes, I made to the hospital. "Rose!" I yelled at the nurse. "Can you tell me where Stiles Stilinski is? He's taking a MRI scan."

"Juliet, you know you work here right?" I sighed.

"Rose, I'm 20 minutes late and there is 6 of MRI scanners in the hospital. Can you just help me out?" She nodded. She looks at the computer.

"There's no Stiles, but there is a M-m?"

"It's Stiles! Can you please tell which one?"

"Um, 4."

"Thanks!" I smiled as I ran up the stairs. I ran in the room 4. They were just gonna get started.

"Juliet?" Said my mom.

"Just give me five minutes." I put on my fingers. "Five." They nodded and I ran in there. "Stiles!" He's head turns. "I'm so sorry! I was so caught with things-"

"It's okay." He pulls me in a hug. "It's okay. You know what they're looking for, right?" I pulled out from the hug. "It's called frontotemporal dementia. Areas of your brain start to shrink. It's what my mother had. It's the only form of dementia that can hit teenagers. And there's no cure."

"Stiles, if you have it, we'll do something. I'll do something." I gave him another hug.

"Let's go now." The nurse dragged me out. They shut the door in my face. I looked to my left and saw Derek and Scott. I made my way and sat down next to Derek.

"You know the stuff you we're telling me about chemo signals earlier? It reminded me of the time you we're teaching me to use anger to control the shift."

"I think you ended up teaching me more about that."

"Are you teaching me again?"

"Think of it more like sharing a few trade secrets. You know, I took Cora back to South America, right? It's where she spent most of her time after the fire. But that's not the only reason I left. I needed to talk to my mother."

"Your dead mother?" I looked at Derek, entering the conversation.

"She told me something that changed my perspective on a lot of things. She said that my family didn't just live in Beacon Hills. They protected it. This town needs someone to protect it. Someone like you guys."

"And someone like you to teach me a few trade secrets." Derek got up and we followed.

"What?" Scott said as he walked with Derek.

"He was trying to protect us. Stiles was protecting us. From himself."

"What are we looking for?" I said as we made it to the roof.

"I'm not sure. But I think Stiles wasn't just up here struggling with himself. I think he was struggling not to do something." I've walked straight up to the gate and jumped, I grabbed a bag that was left up there.

"Juliet!" I look to see a pipe swerving around. I jumped off the gate and Scott caught me. We looked over the roof, there was so much chaos.
