Poets Note: This final poem is well over a year late. It's been so long since I wrote this book, so long, so naturally, my writing style has changed a lot. I would like to say my poetry has improved significantly, and I think you'll be able to tell the difference. That being said, the meaning in those other poems is just as real as it is in this one. The heart has always been there <3 However, this is like a summary, a broad contextualization, for all the words written in here. The world is broken, fading, ripping at the seams. We see it today more than ever. But, we still have so much power in ourselves and as a united team. To change, to inspire, to love... there's so much waiting for us. We cannot allow ourselves to be suppressed by the evil of our world. The time is now. If we don't speak out, if we don't act... no one will.

Dear World,

All your sin, all your scars,

You're broken at the core;

You bring more pain, more dark,

Every day, more and more.

You shatter dreams like snowflakes,

Like ice in your hand;

And when your cold winds steal through,

The nightmares ride again.

Beauty shines on the surface,

But darkness lurks within;

It must be to your pleasure,

That life's a game none can win.

Truths are twisted, obscured,

And lies are everywhere;

Amidst the voices, the chaos,

In every breath of air.

Not all can survive,

All are out for themselves;

Because you whisper to them,

With endless lies of self doubt.

This ground is tainted in blood,

And all fight alone;

There's no turning back,

This is all that they've known.

If success is perfection,

Failure is preempt;

But the pressure is stronger,

It leaves no one exempt.

Waves bigger than life,

Fear weighs upon hearts;

Too much to sort out,

Storms to break apart.

Grief, shame, hang like curses,

And like plague they're running;

You watch them choose victims,

Amused by the suffering.

A single dark thought,

Can set off chain reactions;

Oh the feelings that follow,

You can't even imagine.

Your colors carry questions,

They ride with the breeze;

Into every heart and soul,

They implant their loathsome seed.

It's the era of shadows,

Born of secrets and lies;

You're only sinking more,

Farther away from the light.

There's a lethal virus,

Running its course through all time;

Now it's stronger than ever,

And there's no cure in sight.

Humanity's fading,

Losing love, losing hope;

People are selfish, jealous,

More they are, the more it's so.

The nature of a soul,

One more burden on life;

To always chase the stars,

To never be satisfied.

Here tears never fall,

Unless there's no one around;

All are scrambling, stumbling,

Cause fear pulsates through the ground.

Dreams are stolen, hearts broken,

Joy is lost, love is bought;

So fragile, easy to break,

And it dies on your shot.

Today the silent shoot back,

We will not be your slaves;

Hear our voices cry out,

To see it, we'll be the change.

We won't just sit back,

Not as long as there's breath;

History doesn't define us,

Nor the future quite yet.

Across this land, hearts cry,

From every inch of this earth;

The burdened, the oppressed,

Calling out for rebirth.

And the chains fall like thunder,

In dungeons, prison cells;

Today the captives will rise,

With stories to tell.

One hand finds another,

Builds a circuit like fire;

There's strength in each other,

When we live to inspire.

Every tongue, every nation,

As many dreams become one;

It's full of color, of light,

Growing brighter than the sun.

This is freedom, this is hope,

This is happiness and peace;

This is kindness and goodness,

This is life that we scream.

Where has our world fallen?

What is this that we see?

A warzone, a graveyard,

But it's not our destiny.

And we run to the shore,

Where possibility stretches;

We envision the city,

That will rise from these ashes.

Cause we took that step,

We were not afraid;

Could that be all it takes?

A mustard seed of faith.

The mountains have moved,

The waters have parted;

Dry ground lies shining,

The future's just started.

Right now with this choice,

Every place, every time;

As each heart transforms,

A new star gains light.

Oh world in your darkness,

Your reckoning has come;

The day of your ruin,

Has finally begun.

It comes in a fury,

The horizon has a gleam;

And it looks like this,

A few billion heartbeats.

Your shadows have broken,

All secrets come to light;

We don't have to hide,

The truth has come alive.

The wind sings a song,

There's love in its melody;

And hope long forgotten,

Could it be the remedy?

All creation sings along,

There's no shadows tonight;

Cause World, one heart beat stronger–

And its spark will not die.
