Push

Satori rose her arms over her head to stretch as she and (Y/n), together with the others poured out of class to head to the cafeteria.

"Jeez, those lessons were on a whole new level of intense," (Y/n) chuckled, completely grateful to have escaped the stuffy, noisy class. "Makes me wonder how the evening test will be."

"Yeah, me too," Satori dropped her arms. She glanced at the girl next to her. "Speaking of which, who's your partner?"

(Y/n) winced. She knew this question would eventually be asked but that didn't make her any more prepared for it. She opened her mouth to speak when a hand was slapped over her mouth. She shot Satori a displeased look.

"Don't tell me," Satori held up a finger. "Lemme guess."

The girl took her hand off her mouth and tapped a finger on her chin.

"Hmm...obviously it's not Midoriya because you'd have already squealed yesterday..." her eyes darted to the ceiling then back on (Y/n). "It's that sunshine with the red, spiky hair."

(Y/n) shook her head, giggling. Satori had confessed to her over text that she had some sort of crush on Kirishima after seeing him at the sports festival. The reason to why she liked him was mainly because of his quote-unquote: "blinding gorgeousness". But knowing Satori, it probably wasn't that serious considering how many boys she had crushed on before.

"No. It's not," (Y/n) felt the need to say. She then covered one side of her mouth and leaned closer to say. "And spoiler alert: his hair is naturally not spiky."

Satori gaped at her. "No way!"

(Y/n) nodded. "Yes way."

"Fuck, that's hot," she muttered to herself. Curiosity clouded her features. "Why doesn't he wear it like that though?"

The girl shrugged. "I've only ever seen him like that like once or twice, but I've never asked."

"Ohhh," Satori said with a nod.

There was a beat of silence between them as they continued walked down the partly crowded hallway.

"Anyway," Satori said, shrugging. "Back to guessing. It's that one with the lightning bolt on his hair. Looking like a cross between Pikachu and a playboy."

"No," (Y/n) slid a look Satori's way, her eyes narrowed. "And why are you only guessing guys?"

Satori rose her brow. "Are you paired up with a girl?"

(Y/n) looked away from her, the corner of her lips stretched sideward.

"Then shut up. It's Todoroki isn't it?"

"No."

"Tail?"

"No."

Satori loudly gasped. A few unknown faces curiously glanced at her but she paid no mind to them. Stopping in her tracks, she grabbed (Y/n)'s arm, making her stop too. Horror had transformed her whole face and she stared at the ground with wide eyes.

"Don't tell me..." she said faintly as she turned to (Y/n).

(Y/n) sighed. Judging from her expression, Satori must've already joined the dots.

Frowning, she lifted her shoulder in a shrug. "Yeah, sadl-"

"It's that midget with the ball hair."

(Y/n) leaned away from Satori with an unsettled look on her face. "No, you moron. It's Katsuki."

"Oh thank God," Satori exhaled in relief, her hand pressed to her chest. "That's a relief."

(Y/n) rolled her eyes. Any second now.

"Wait, WHAT?!"

Her shoulders were suddenly grabbed and she was swiveled around to face the dark-haired girl. Her eyes blown wide open from the sheer shock, she shook her back and forth like a maraca.

"Why the fuck didn't you think to tell me this before?!!" Satori yelled into her face. "Were you planning on it to be a surprise gift?! Huh?!"

Feeling irritation crackle within her like a spark, (Y/n) grabbed Satori's wrists and took her hands off her shoulders. She gave the frothing girl a warning glare.

"First of all, stop making a scene. People are looking," she said, enunciating her words quietly and tightly.

The anger on Satori's face significantly faded. Now conscious of her surrounding, she looked around at the students who were indeed staring at them in confusion and curiosity. She sized them up and was about to sneer at them to mind their own goddamn business when (Y/n) continued speaking.

"And second," she turned back to the girl. "I didn't think it was important to tell you. Plus I knew you'd react this way if I did."

Releasing a sound from her throat, Satori yanked her wrists from the (e/c)-eyed female and shot her a glare. "Of course it's important! And that's no excuse! I thought I told you to tell me these things, (Y/n)!"

Said girl threw her hands in the air in resignation.

She then grabbed Satori's hand and began dragging her away from the highway towards a more secluded corner next to the wall. She cautiously peeked over her shoulder to see if there was anyone standing near the vicinity. Some of the students who were hanging out next to the windows were staring at them with a mix of unhinged curiosity and displeasure but that was the least of her problems. Assured that no one was close enough to listen to their conversation, she turned back to Satori.

Plastering a tight smile on her face, she folded her hands and leaned closer to her face. "Since you won't use your indoor voice, why don't we talk here, hm?"

Leaning back, Satori looked her up and down and scoffed at the fucking audacity. "Bitch, don't look at me in that tone of voice."

"Oh my God..." muttering under her breath, (Y/n) rolled her eyes as she straightened up.

"And second, why did you call him by his first name?"

(Y/n) stiffened.

"Ohhhhhh," Satori's eyebrows rose and she rested her hands on her hips. "You thought I didn't hear that last bit?"

"W-What?!" she stuttered, her decibels rising the same time as her blood pressure. She let out a forced chuckle and crossed her arms over her chest to keep herself from losing her already cracking composure. "It was just a mistake. I didn't call him that."

"Yes, you did," Satori insisted. She then paused. Her eyes dangerously narrowed to pinpricks. "Are you two fuck-"

"No, we're not!" (Y/n) shrieked. Her cheeks felt hot. "How can you even ask that?!" Casting a quick glance left and right to see if anyone was looking, she lowered her voice. "Okay, so I did call him that. But I don't use it around people, just when I'm alone," when Satori's eyebrows rose in doubt, she held up her hands in a placating gesture. "I do it for closure, okay? He owes me that one thing."

Satori regarded her for a moment before sighing.

"You better be grateful nothing's going on between you two," she pointed a warning finger at her. "Because if I hear something like that, you and I are done."

"You can't possibly be serious..." (Y/n) chuckled uncomfortably. Sweat beaded her brow. Her eyes were never still and she never looked at Satori expect in passing.

Satori thinned her lips in a straight line. "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Either way, I'm not gonna sit back and watch you act like a clown after what he did so expect me to have very strong words for you when you decide to be stupid and go for him."

"Don't worry," (Y/n)'s fingers played with the hem of her school jacket. "Nothing like that will happen. Besides, I'm not talking to him right now."

"Why?" Satori furrowed her eyebrows and tilted her chin up. A hostile aura began to cloud around her. "Did that fuck do something to you after the bathroom argument?"

(Y/n)'s mouth opened but no words came out. She then pursed her lips together and shook her head. She never once looked at Satori.

"No," she squeaked, her voice unnaturally high pitched. She quickly cleared her throat. "I mean, no. He didn't."

She peeked at Satori sideways out of a narrow corner of her eye. The dark-haired girl was eyeing her as though her bullshit meter was ticking in the red zone. (Y/n) inaudibly gulped.

A shaky smile grew on her lips. "I'm serious. You know how he is. It's just better for me not to talk to him. I mean-" she carelessly shrugged. "-what's there to talk about, right?"

Unconvinced, Satori nodded. "Right..."

She then sighed and she shrugged. "Fine. If he didn't do anything then I guess there's nothing to worry about, huh?"

Oh, there's a lot to worry about. "Yeah...sure..." (Y/n) faintly trailed off. She cast a guilty look at the side and grimaced.

It felt so weird to conceal information from Satori, especially one that involved Katsuki. Ever since they had known each other, Satori had made it her mission to know everything that went down with their love lives, hers, Shiori's and Mei's. Although Shiori was more tight-lipped on the matter, she and Mei were the opposite and would always crumble under Satori's intimidating look.

However, she couldn't really blame their young selves. It was a time when puberty had hit hard and with it, came new changes like body growth, hormone imbalances, friendship gaining its significance and the growing fascination with the opposite or similar gender along with other things.

For Satori, the latter had hit an all-time high in her life. Any interaction with a cute boy, be it accidentally exchanging looks with each other, always became a topic of discussion among the four friends, with Satori being the lead. When the romance in her life proved to not be enough for her, she went as far as demanding the girls to tell her when anything happened between them and a boy. At first, it was quite uncomfortable for them, being placed under the spotlight by someone as brazen as Satori considering they were not as eager to discuss their private details. But as time went by, it became the norm, to a point where omitting any information that involved a boy had become a taboo.

It was weird but then again, it was Satori. They just had to get used to her one way or another.

And now here she was, breaking one of Satori's unspoken "rules". It was all for the greater good, she had to remind herself. Satori loathed Katsuki with a burning passion. If she were to get word of what Katsuki had said to her during P.E, much less made her cry again, she'd kill him. Figuratively if not attempted.

There was a time when Satori wasn't feeling so murderous towards the boy, though. She never minded the spiky-haired male and would toy with the idea of courting him. But when she found out that (Y/n) was crushing on him, after managing to squeeze it out of her of course, she respectfully backed off and would root for her from time to time, albeit half-heartedly. All that turned around though after she got the news that (Y/n)'s confession had gone wrong.

According to Satori, anyone who messed with her friends, messed with her. No one, not even a boy, was an exception to this other unspoken rule of hers. It didn't matter how cute or hot they were. And that's how Satori came to view Katsuki's like the devil's incarnate. In fact, out of spite and also out of love for her best friend, she was the one who helped (Y/n) forget him, their current tight relationship being as a result of that. Furthermore, as revenge, she messed with Katsuki; she'd always call him names, take jabs at him and would constantly "get in his way" when he was harassing the other students.

So in her twisted perspective, (Y/n) owed her to stay away from Katsuki, especially after going through the trouble of enacting her revenge on him throughout the remainder of Junior High for her. And now that she was aware of his horrifying feelings for her, she made sure that happened by keeping tabs on (Y/n) and demanding to be kept in the know on whatever happened between her and him.

It was all out of love. Crazy, almost bordering possessive love but love no doubt. (Y/n) was her best friend and seeing her suffer was one of her weaknesses.

(Y/n) knew that. So for that reason, she didn't want to make her worry. She also didn't want to risk Satori making another scene so it was better for her to keep quiet. She had told her about what happened in the abandoned building and about the bathroom argument but she had omitted a few details, like how Midoriya lied to everyone that she had a crush on Katsuki, which lead to the argument. That and not telling her about their heated argument the previous day.

Plus it's not like she had to tell her everything. Yeah, she had to but...she didn't want to...this time.

"Can we go now?"

Startled out of her thoughts, (Y/n)'s eyes darted back to Satori, who had her hands on her hips.

"I'm getting hungry just standing here."

The corner of (Y/n)'s mouth lifted and she nodded.

"Yeah let's go."

"Finally," Satori huffed out. She linked her arm with (Y/n)'s and they turned to head back to the direction leading to the cafeteria. "You know, if you're on a diet, you could've just told me."

(Y/n) sent her an incredulous look. "Where did that even come from?"

Satori shrugged. "Just sayin'."

(Y/n) let out a low 'hm' and turned her head forward to focus on the path in front of them.

***

Satori and (Y/n) patiently waited in line for their turn to buy lunch. Meanwhile, the latter was busy explaining which kind of foods and snacks their school sold at the counter and the vending machine.

"So, what you're telling me is," (Y/n) pinched her eyebrows together. "They also sell yogurt together with the soda at the vending machine?"

Satori nodded. "That's what I'm saying. And they're never past their sell-by date. Why?"

(Y/n) shrugged and faced forward. "It's kinda weird, that's all."

Satori tilted her head from side to side. "Eh well..."

Bored, she threw a casual look over her shoulder to where her usual table was. Normally, it consisted of her and her two friends, who for some reason weren't sitting with their UA buddies. Figuring that maybe their buddies had decided to sit with more familiar faces, she went to face forward when something at a distance caught her eye.

She paused. Her eyes flicked back and forth between the girl in front of her and the curly-headed boy.

She smirked.

"Oh look, (Y/n)," she started, her tone laid back as if she was commenting on the weather. "It's Freckles."

(Y/n)'s head perked up. Frantically turning her head from side to side to locate where he was, her heart stopped when she laid her wide eyes on him. Unaware and standing a few meters away in another line while he spoke to Hadashi, was Midoriya.

A toothy grin graced his features as he pointed at something in front of them then laughed. They were closer to the counter so they were further at the front from where the two girls were.

Blushing, (Y/n) quickly turned away from the radiant sight and covered the exposed side of her face with her hand. "Fuck! I can't let him see me!"

Satori thinned her lips in irritation. "Why not? He let himself be seen by you."

(Y/n) responded by taking a step forward and ducking her head to be shielded by the person in front of her. It didn't do much to help her but luckily for her, there was another line of students in between their lines so unless he decided to search for her, then he would be able to see her.

Satori shook her head in disappointment and grabbed (Y/n)'s wrist to pull her around to face her. She rose her brows at the shocked girl. "Didn't you guys already step out of your discomfort zone when you did that lovey-dovey shit earlier on?"

(Y/n) pulled her hand out of the girl's hold and covered the other now exposed side of her face. She glared at the girl. "That doesn't mean that we're in the clear yet. It was a moment. Unexpected and brief with unclear answers from both ends."

"And now," she gestured towards Midoriya's direction. "You have the opportunity to talk to him and clarify things out. Even better, use that pick-up line on him to start the conversation."

(Y/n)'s eyes widened. "I can't!"

The girl aimed a pointed look at her. "Yes, you can!"

When (Y/n) didn't budge, Satori sighed and spread her arms wide. "Okay, look, I'll even take you there myself if you're so scared to go alone."

(Y/n)'s expression withered. "Satori, no. I can't, okay? I won't be able to live with myself after that."

Satori muttered something incomprehensible under her breath. She then forced a smile on her face. "Can I just ask you a question, real quick?"

The female arched her eyebrow. "Yeah?"

She held up a finger. "This is totally not based on my own personal opinion, but it's dumb of you to keep hiding away from Midoriya like that."

"That's not a question," (Y/n) deadpanned.

"So you agree it's a fact."

(Y/n) blinked. "What?"

"You're going to be a hero someday so for fuck's sakes, woman up!" Satori loudly snapped, causing (Y/n) to flinch and bump into the person in front of her. The person looked over his shoulder to glower at her but she was busy gawking at Satori. "We're going there and you're going to talk to him. Like it or not."

(Y/n) began to sweat in rivulets.

"But-"

"No buts! Now come 'ere!" Satori roughly grabbed (Y/n)'s hand.

Pulling her out of the line, Satori started dragging (Y/n) towards Midoriya's line. Two students on the line next to theirs parted ways to let them through, but not without glaring at them as they passed. When they passed, Satori pulled her to the front to where Midoriya was.

"No! No! Wait! Satori!" (Y/n) protested while trying to yank Satori's hand to release hers. "Wait! Stop!"

She planted her feet on the ground, applying resistance to the girl's strong pull. Satori noticed what she was doing and threw a disapproving glare over her shoulder.

"Stop it, you idiot!" she snarled and began pulling even harder.

"No! Let me go!" (Y/n) cried in defiance. Unfortunately for her, she was losing the tug-of-war as her feet slowly lost its friction and slid forward as Satori continued pulling. Halfway through it all, she realized she had to let herself get pulled otherwise she'd fall on her ass if Satori happened to let go of her. When she released the pressure she had placed on her feet, Satori stumbled back before gaining her balance.

"Finally!" Satori said, glowering at her. (Y/n) glowered back. Shaking her head, Satori continued pulling the miserable girl the rest of the way.

"Midoriya!" Satori yelled out as they made their approach.

The boy flinched and turned away from Hadashi to whoever was calling him. He paled.

"H-Hanabe?!" he took a cautious step back. "W-What are you doing here?!"

Ignoring his words, she poked a finger on his chest. She began pushing him out of the line to stand at the side. Throwing an alert look to both sides, she made sure that they weren't many people around them to listen to what they were talking about. She looked back at Midoriya and he jolted, puzzled and utterly shaking as he wasn't expecting Satori to seek him out all of a sudden.

Satori, seeing his trembling state, looked him up and down and made a face.

"Calm down, Freckles. I'm not here for you," she yanked (Y/n) forward to stand next to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder to keep her from escaping. She tilted her head towards the girl. "(Y/n) here has something to tell you."

Midoriya relaxed when his eyes fell on (Y/n). "She does?"

"I do?" (Y/n) nervously looked at Satori.

"Yes. We've been over this," Satori hissed at her. She lowered her voice. "Now get closer to him and tell him exactly what I said."

She let go of the girl and with her hand on the small of (Y/n)'s back, she gently pushed him towards Midoriya. Once she was in front of him, the girl nervously tugged down the sleeves of her jacket and gulped. Sucking in a breath, she shyly lifted her hand.

"Um, hey Izuku," the girl waved at him.

"H-Hi (Y/n)," he said, a wobbly smile on his lips. His eyes then darted to the girl standing a behind (Y/n). His shaky fingers fisted the fabric of his trousers. "H-Hey Hanabe."

The dark-haired girl sent him a nod of acknowledgment. "'Sup. Still green, huh?"

Midoriya's eyebrows furrowed. "Uh, what?" he then let out a weak chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah...I think?"

Satori slowly nodded as she eyed him down. She bit her lip before letting out a low, sultry chuckle. Flipping one of her tails back, she started her approach towards him. Midoriya was about to step back when she began circling him while checking him out as a predator did to its prey. Once she was in front of him once again, she folded her arms over her ample chest and bit her finger.

"Damn, you buffed up..." she leaned closer to him, causing him to squeak out in shock. Her voice lowered octaves, as her grey eyes flicked between his wide eyes and parted lips. "You know, if ever wanna lower your standards, you can take my number from her. Spoiler alert: I'm Lifeline."

"Um, w-wha-huh-" Midoriya's eyes darted to the side to avoid Satori's really close, penetrating ones. His brain went on an overdrive. It wasn't the first time she'd done that to him and apparently wasn't going to be the last as long as they kept meeting. It used to be one of her hobbies back in Junior High, teasing him, invading his personal space, all in order to see how much he'd blush and become a stumbling, stuttering mess. It was the main reason why he used to be so scared of her. And much to her sadistic enjoyment now, his face was scarlet red and he was afraid he'd get a heart attack if she continued standing too close to him.

A scowl had been embedded across (Y/n)'s features for the past minute as she watched the whole thing. She knew Satori meant none of it and it was harmless flirting, as always, but that didn't help the acid of jealousy that had been stirring in the pit of her stomach.

She had originally planned on waiting until Satori was done but when she inched even closer to him, she exploded.

"Satori! Stop it!" she snapped.

Rolling her eyes, Satori sighed and straightened up to turn back to (Y/n). The girl was glaring daggers at her.

"What?" she held up her palms up. "Just making conversation."

(Y/n) firmly crossed her arms over her chest.

"Okay, fine. I'm sorry," Satori said as she walked back to where she was previously standing. When she was about to pass (Y/n), she placed a hand on her shoulder and leaned closer to her ear to whisper. "I'll be standing a few feet away with a fire extinguisher in case you crash and burn like the walking cringe disaster you are."

(Y/n)'s expression went flat.

"Gee, thanks," she sarcastically quipped.

Leaning away, Satori firmly patted her shoulder. "No pressure."

The girl walked past her, leaving her standing in front of a recovering Midoriya.

The boy nervously tugged at his collar and cleared his throat. Was it him or was the cafeteria too hot?

"So um," he cleared his throat and guiltily looked back at (Y/n). "What-what was it you wanted to tell me?"

(Y/n) opened her mouth. Her words got stuck in her throat. It was what she was afraid of. Her mind going blank.

Uh..." momentarily panicking, she glanced over her shoulder at Satori. Satori's eyes widened with a pointed look and they darted to the freckled boy to indicate 'go ahead!'. The girl made a face and turned back to Midoriya.

"Please don't be weirded out," she said, more like begged.

"Huh, why would I..." the boy shot a puzzled look over her shoulder at Satori. He then leaned a bit forward and lowered his voice. "(Y/n), is she making you do this?"

Yes, now HELP ME!! "What?!" (Y/n) exclaimed while taking a step back to put some distance between them before she combusted. "No! No. This is all me," she sized the boy up. "How dare you?"

"Jesus Christ..." Satori muttered in disappointment in the background.

Midoriya quickly held up his hands, an apologetic look marring his angelic features. "S-Sorry about that. What is it then?"

(Y/n) wrung her fingers. "L-Listen, okay?"

Midoriya's tentative eyes darted to Satori. The dark-haired girl pointed to her ear then at (Y/n). Getting the message, he looked back at (Y/n) and hesitantly nodded.

While her heart hammered painfully in her chest, (Y/n) drew in a shaky breath before clearing her throat.

"I-Is your dad a baker? Cause your ass is a bun-I mean, you've got a nice bun..." she paused and furrowed her eyebrows. "Or was it, you have a sweet bun?"

Satori facepalmed.

Midoriya's mouth fell wide open, an angry shade of red coloring his cheeks and tips of his ears.

"I'm sorry," her eyes never once looking at the boy, (Y/n) let out a sheepish laugh and scratched her head. "Can I try again?"

"No," Satori sternly said as she began making her way towards the two. "No! You cannot try again," grabbing (Y/n)'s shoulders, she turned the girl to face her and leaned in to snap. "You've embarrassed me enough for two lifetimes to come so no you cannot try again!"

Turning her around to face away from Midoriya, Satori looked back at the confused, blushing boy. "I'm sorry Midoriya, sweetie. Can you like, pretend this never happened? Thanks. You're welcome, Hanabe. Will she be okay? Yes, she will. Oh, okay," she faked a grin. "Great conversation, now bye~"

Without wasting another second, she whipped around and began steering (Y/n) away from him.

"W-Wait!" Midoriya called out after them. "Hanabe!"

"Just ignore him. He won't take it personally," Satori told the dazed girl as she and (Y/n) maneuvered between the other students while making sure (Y/n) wouldn't bump into them while she pushed her. "Don't look back. He just wants attention."

Finally, Midoriya's voice was drowned out by both the noise in the cafeteria and the distance put between them. Relieved that they couldn't hear him anymore, Satori muttered a 'finally' under her breath.

She spared a look over her shoulder. "I think we lost him. At this rate, he won't be coming after us."

(Y/n) remained silent. Satori frowned at the back of her head. It was to be expected, her failure, but sometimes failures are what made them learn, no matter how hurtful and humiliating they are.

"Don't worry, darling," Satori heaved out a hefty sigh. "That's just what disappointments are made out to be. You don't...always get what you want. And you know what, something else I learned recently was, disappointment comes in many shapes and sizes," she thinned her lips. "Mine, unfortunately, happens to come in the shape of you."

She let go of (Y/n)'s shoulders, prompting her to a stop. She then crossed over to stand in front of the girl and placed a hand under her chin. She slightly lifted it up so that she could look into her dull eyes.

"Do you want yogurt to go with that pout?" she asked, similarly pouting albeit hers being fake.

(Y/n) didn't say anything except glare at the girl.

Satori smiled and let go of her chin. "I'll get you yogurt. Now stand there like a good girl and wait for me, 'kay?"

Receiving no response from (Y/n) again, Satori simply patted her head before turning to leave for the vending machines.

(Y/n) watched her walk away with a regretful expression on. She shouldn't have listened to her in the first place. All those years, she should've learned by now but noooo, she didn't. Why did she do this to herself?

"Hey (Y/n)!" Uraraka's cheery voice piped up from behind her and she turned towards her. The brunette wasn't alone. "Why are you standing here all alone? Did your buddy abandon you?"

"Hmmm," Iida rubbed his chin. "Or maybe she went to look for a table," he held up a palm. "I'm sure your acquaintance isn't so inconsiderate as to leave you stranded in a foreign place."

The girl bitterly scowled to the side. "No, she's coming back," As soon as the scowl came, it disappeared. "What about your buddies?"

"They went to get their food. They said they'll be back soon," Uraraka explained. She then noticed (Y/n)'s crestfallen look. "What's wrong, (Y/n)? You look sad."

The girl, cursing herself for having slipped her misery, sighed.

"I lost something close to me five minutes ago."

"You did?" Iida asked, his face a mask of concern, similar to Uraraka's. "What was it? Your exercise books?"

(Y/n) grimaced. "No."

"What is it then?" Uraraka questioned.

"My will to live."

The two blinked. "Huh?"

"I'll never be able to look him in the eye again."

The two exchanged confused looks. "Him?"

(Y/n)'s face turned red when she remembered the mistake she had done and wrapped her arms around herself. The mental recording of her blunder replayed over and over in her mind and the reality of what she had done came crashing down on her. If it were any possible, her face grew redder. Groaning, she buried her face in her hands.

"(Y/n)!" Iida's eyebrows rose in shock and he stepped forward. "You look terrible! Are you sure you're feeling alright? Is it the flu? A slipped disc? Should we take you to the nurse to excuse you from the afternoon's exercise?"

"Chill out, glasses," the three teenagers turned towards the new voice. In her hand was a packet of yogurt. "She's just having a midday crisis, no need to be dramatic," she handed the packet of yogurt to (Y/n), who dropped her hands to receive it. "Here."

"I'm fine, Iida," (Y/n) said as she looked down at the packet in her hands. She brushed her thumb over the side of it. "Thanks."

"Hmmm. I see. Well, if that's the case then I guess it's alright," he turned to the twin-tailed girl. "She must be your buddy and friend. How rude of me to have not introduced myself first," he placed a hand on his chest before stiffly chopping the air once. "My name is Iida Tenya! The representative of Class 1-A! It's a pleasure to meet you."

Snorting, Satori stretched her hand out for him to shake. He took it. "Hanabe Satori. Pleasure to meet you," letting go of his hand, she turned her attention to the brunette. She gave a half-smile. "And, who's this...sweet angel?"

Uraraka wanted to take a step back from the intimidating aura she felt Satori giving out. "I-I'm Uraraka Ochaco."

"Wait...The Uraraka Ochaco?" Satori rose a brow and glanced at (Y/n) then back at Uraraka. She scoffed out a laugh. "I've heard a lot about you!"

"Ha ha ha," the brunette nervously rubbed up and down her arm. "All good I hope..."

"Of course!" laughing, she hooked an arm around (Y/n)'s neck, pulling her into a headlock. "This bitch loves you!" she then perked up and turned back to Uraraka. "Oh, and by the way, the fight between you and Bakugou..." she touched her index finger to her thumb. "Totally awesome. I mean, it didn't end the way I would've preferred but you still gave it your all and gave him Hell in the process. So for that," she placed a hand on her chest. "You earned yourself a fan."

Uraraka's face lit up. She bashfully averted her eyes away from the girl. "Um, thank you so much..."

Satori nodded. "You're always welcome."

Uraraka then turned to (Y/n) and a fond smile appeared on her face as she watched her struggle to get out of Satori's iron hold. (Y/n) hadn't told her about Satori before...why...

"And," her smile widened. "I love her too."

(Y/n) let out a tired chuckle as she tried to crane her neck up to look at Uraraka. "Then if you love me so much, can you please tell her to let me go."

There was no need for that because Satori instantly released her to take the two teenagers' hands in her each of her own.

"It's so awesome to finally meet her friends," she said as she looked back and forth between them. "I'm always so worried about her being an outcast in your school, with her being awkward and all. But I guess now I can put that worrying to rest. And for that reason, would you like to come sit with us?" she shrugged. "It's full right now but we can make some space for you guys. Just two more chairs and you're all good," when the two looked at each other unsurely, she let out a mirthless chuckle. "I mean, it's not like you'll get a free table here seeing that your buddies ditched you."

Hurt flashed on Uraraka's face. "They did?"

"Duh," Satori let go of their hands. "You guys are foreigners and they think you're stuck up," she smirked. "But fuck 'em, right?"

"Crude language," Iida muttered to himself. He then sighed. "But, I can't refuse the kind gesture, especially in our dire situation. That's very considerate of you," he bowed down to her. "Thank you."

"Yeah," Uraraka grinned. "Thanks so much."

She waved them off. "Don't mention it. Just follow me, do what I do and don't look anyone in the eye," she sent them a pointed look. "I mean it."

"Oh, okay."

Turning, she and (Y/n) began walking back towards the line to the counters with the two teenagers following them closely behind. They walked in silence for a while before Iida's deep voice broke it.

"Uraraka."

"What is it, Iida?"

(Y/n)'s ears perked, her attention zeroing in on the conversation being held behind them. Satori wasn't talking to her so she guessed it wouldn't hurt listening to what they were saying.

"I haven't seen Midoriya for a while now," Iida said. The mention of Midoriya's name made her insides squirm. "Is he not coming? If he doesn't come soon, I'm afraid he'll be subjected to the hostility of sitting alone as an outcast or worse, to eat in the boys' bathroom. Which is clearly unsanitary."

"I'm...sure he'll be fine," Uraraka assured him. "Don't worry. He's probably with his buddy. They do seem to get along very well."

"Ah...If you say so. I guess I'm worrying over nothing then."

At this, (Y/n) and Satori exchanged subtle side looks. She too had been listening to them.

Looking away from each other, they winced.
