Button baby passed on a bit ago, But i wont post of picture of my baby's body, we made a little grave stone and buried the angel.

Damn coyotes!

My poor hen, she and her babies were sleeping with one of our turkey hens, but was kicked out of the nesting crate because the turkey girl is broody, so our black Cochin hen had to sleep beside the crate last night.

She was attacked by a male coyote, and he got her by the neck, But, lets just say the coyote wont be bothering us anymore. But we saved the hen.

keep in mind she has 2 babies. One black Cochin and silkie mix, while the other is the same, but white. We saw the white baby last night and snatched it up, but the black baby was gone. Now, I won't show a picture but the hen is hurt very badly, if you want to see the picture, it'll be at the end of this chapter.

The hen is missing a lot of flesh, but none of her major neck arteries got punctured, so thats the only reason she's still alive. Her spine is exposed, and some of her bones are too, she is slowly eating and drinking, I hope she makes it.
