~Amy's POV~

"Squid, you should erm.. go get the others... to show them.. this." I say, lifting my tail up. It was a VERY large tail, that was almost a bronze color. This whole thing is fascinating, yet extremely scary! What would someone do if they found out? Put me in an aquarium? Do tests on me? Ugh, I don't even wanna think about it. "Yeah, I'll go.. get them.."

Squid starts jogging out of the water toward where the others have set up. You know, I have no idea why  I kissed him... It's not like I ever thought of him that way.. I always just told myself he was a good friend... did I actually like him all along without knowing it? Uh, all this thinking is giving me a headache.

Eventually, Squid came back with everyone. "Amy, what's wrong?" Everyone was asking me. "Okay, guys, don't scream! Okay, just.. I don't know what to do, so I'm just gonna show you..." I take a deep breath, before lifting up my mermaid  tail. They all gasped. I could hear a collection of jaws dropping. "Salem.. guys? W-What do I do?

~Sqaishey's POV~

Wow. Holy tail. What the heck. That's all I can say. "Salem.. guys? W-What do I do?" She asks. "Amy.. when did you get this tail?" I ask. "Just after me and Squid went in the water... why?" She asks. "Maybe, it will go away when your dry!" Squid answered, catching on to my idea. "Well, I can swim super fast! Wanna race me before I get out?" She asks excitedly. "I don't think anyone wants to race you but I think we all wanna see you!" Ash answered. "Okay, here I go!" She said just before zooming off faster than any Olympic swimmer could. 

Wow, look at her go, and holy crap, were only some of the things we were all saying. Amy came back around. "Well, I suppose we could have a bit more fun in the water...!" Squid said, splashing Amy. Amy put her hand up to shield her face, and the water stopped, and formed a ball. She opened her eyes and saw what she was doing. "OMG! I can control WATER!" She shouted almost too loud. She started using her hand to move it around, shape it, and other wicked cool stuff. Then she threw it back at Squid. "Haha!" She said, and we all laughed.

"Okay, well, from now on, don't splash Amy! She will throw it back!" Squid said, wiping the water from his eyes. "Nobody can mess with Amy the mermaid!" She said. "Shall we test out or brilliant idea?" Amy said. "I kinda wanna have legs again.." She said. "Okay, let's lift her up then?" We held here up by her back (luckily we're the only ones on the beach because of the weather forecast. Ash grabbed the end of her tail, Squid had where her thighs would be, Stampy had her hips, I held her torso, and Mousie had her shoulders. "Hehe, Sqaishey that tickles!" She said. I got long fake nails, just to see how it looks, that were brushing against her sides. I can see how that would tickle. 

"Sorry, if you want legs then you have to deal with it." I said. "But you know how ticklish I am!" She replied. That's true, we found out at a slumber party a while back, me netty and mousie. "We're almost at the sand, just stay still!" I said, laughing at her occasional giggles. "Squid, you should take notes!" I whispered jokingly. "Squid.. if you tickle me once you are SO dead!" She shouted. "Haha, you'd kinda deserve, with the whole one direction thing this morning!" He replied. I could just see Amy's nervous face! This was great!

We finally got to the sand and laid Amy down. Then we dried her off with a towel, and sure enough, when we took the towel off her she had legs again. "Yay!" She said, knowing that she could still walk. Come on, let's go eat some lunch!" Ash said. 

We arranged towels. I was next to Stampy and Amy, and Amy was also next to Squid, and was across from Salem, and I was across from Ash, who was also next to Mousie. That's actually really confusing. Whatever, for lunch we all have peanut butter and fluff sandwiches, A.K.A Fluffernutters. As well as chips, soda, and sweetish fish! I love having sweetish fish on the beach, I have no idea why.. oh wait! Maybe because on me and stampy's first date, he took me to the beach and we had a moonlit dinner with sweetish fish for desert! That was so fun! Ah, the memories!

~Squid's POV~

Wow. I just got a girlfriend, who just got a tail. With scales. Not to mention the powers that come with it. That's a lot to take in. At least she can also still have legs! What would we do if she was stick with a tail for the rest of her life! That would be awful! I wouldn't be able to take her to a restaurant! I don't know why I'm thinking about this.. I should be celebrating the fact that Amy kissed me! "I love Fluffernutters!" I say after scoffing down my whole sandwich in like, 3 bites. "You are SUCH a pig!" Amy said lightly pushing me. "And you are a mermaid! Who would've thought!" I said. She rolled her eyes. "Aw, come on that was pretty good!" I say poking her. She jumps a little bit. "SQAISHEY!!!"
