Christianity and LGBT+

People who say that Christianity is against LGBT+ have absolutely no idea what the hell they're talking about, including my parents. Also, people who say that Christians themselves hate the LGBT+ community are also completely wrong. I happen to be a Christian and also pansexual. Of course I hate myself, but that's a bad example. Pretend you never read that.

Anyways, my point is that since Jesus died on the cross to take all of our sin, being gay is not against the Bible. When people say that being LGBT+ is against the Bible, they are talking about the old testament. Plus, to add to my point, the Christians who believe that being gay can damn you from getting into Heaven technically aren't true Christians. This is because Christians believe that believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us is the only way to get to Heaven. Therefore, if you believe that fact, then you will go to Heaven no matter what. Unless (yes, there is an unless) you believe that something can damn you from going to Heaven. My logic of it is this: You can believe that Jesus died on the cross for us and that that is the only way to get to Heaven; if you believe that something can keep you from going to Heaven, then you don't fully believe that fact.

Most Christians (that think being gay can damn you from Heaven) don't hate the LGBT+ community. One, because that's just immature. Two, because hating somebody is a sin, and we try to sin as little as possible.

Okay, yeah. I'm done. That subject has just been pissing me off lately.
