Why our school do stupid group projects that require meeting outside of school?
AP English has announced a project of making our own poems.
And for some stupid reason it's a two person thing.

Well at least since it's only a two person thing that lowers my chances of you and I being partners.
. . .
"Alright you little Shakespeares, we got a new project starting tomorrow, and I'm taking partner request after telling you guys about it; just remember not all request are guaranteed. Okay so the project is for you and one other person to make your own peom about any topic, but it at least has to be one page long at minimum." The teacher announces then sits back down.
Chealse instantly turns to look at the girl with a smirk, knowing they will request eacth other. Happy that she finally have a friend who instantly chooses her out of all the kids in the class, the girl giggles.
At the sound of her joyful giggle, the boys head shoots up and looks at her with awe. The teacher looks up with a raised brow.
"Collins, is there something you would like to share with the class?" the teacher ask looking the girl. Her face grows red and her throat tightens as the whole class in now looking at her.
"Uh-I. Um n-no." She stutters looking down at her desk. Her hair covers her face as she looks down. The boy is absolutely awed at the girl soft voice and wants to listen to her speak all day. He watches as she tightly clenches her fist on her lap under her desk.
"Okay then shall we continue? Go ahead at start bringing me your request tuo my desk. We got 10 minutes left." The teacher says as he takes out a notebook and blue pen.
The whole class instantly takes out a slip of paper and write their request down. The girl swiftly Chelsea's name down and folds her paper. She and Chelsea stand up at the same time and smile at each other. The boy looks up and frowns. He knows the girl and Chelsea will be partners, but he still wrote down her name with hope, at the bottom he writes 'please' in small letters.
The bell rings releasing them and everyone starting talking asking whos requesting who. Arm in arm Chelsea and the girl exit the class room with smiles.
For the first time in forever the girl feels like she belongs somewhere, like she is finally having a normal teenage life. She feels this rush of confidence and happiness that makes her seem more alive.
