   Nathalie had woke up about half an hour ago. She went to go check to see if Adrien had made it back safely but found that he wasn't home yet. She checked the time to find that it was almost 3:30 which made her stomach churn.

   Adrien left around 9:30 this morning and there wasn't that much in the list. She figured that he might have gotten lost on his way home but more possibilities began to hover in her mind, direr possibilities.

   She stood at the front door and waited until pacing the floor nervously. She sent the Gorilla to go get Adrien a few minutes ago and prayed that nothing bad had happened to the teen.

The door opened, immediately grabbing Nathalie's attention. Adrien poked his head inside and looking very nervous for some reason. The blonde entered the mansion and closed the door behind him, keeping the bag close to him as if someone were about to steal it away.

Nathalie gave him a suspicious look but was too relieved and a little concerned to care.

"Where were you? Are you alright? Did you get lost?" She interrogated, a mixture of anger and concern within her tone. Adrien flinched a little before scratching the back of his neck.

"I got a little lost but the Gorilla found me and yes, I'm alright," the ex-model answered before showing the bag, proudly proclaiming, "I even got everything on the list!"

The woman sighed in relief then smiled a little. She reached out for the bag's handle.

"I'll take the bag-" she was cut off when Adrien suddenly stepped back from her reach.

"It's okay. I can put the stuff away," The blonde said nervously before rushing off in the direction of the kitchen. Nathalie raised an eyebrow, suspicion beginning to take over. There was something the teenager was hiding. She was going to find out what it was.

Adrien went to the kitchen and made sure there was no one inside. He placed the bag on the counter and pulled out two sleeping cats bundled up in a blanket together.

He carefully placed the cats onto the counter before quickly unloading the covered food from a plastic bag within the bigger velvet one. Once all the food was put away, the blonde carefully placed the cats back into the bag and headed to his room. He did his best to avoid any workers that still roamed the halls.

Adrien chased the black cat until it was cornered. It stared at the human male, who had a smug look in his emerald green eyes.

Adrien was given a better look at the cat. Its fur was a bit muggy from being on the streets and eyes were a lighter, acidy green that shimmered with mischief.

   "We can do this the easy way or the hard way, cat. I'm not leaving without that cheese," Adrien said, growing closer to the cat. The black cat suddenly dashed to the side, leaping onto a closed dumpster. Then, it climbed up the bricked wall with its claws and speed. Finally, that street feline flipped onto the fire escape.

   The cat looked down slyly at the gaping Adrien. Adrien could imagine a smirk on the cat's face.

   "You got to be kidding me..." the teen murmured in disbelief before yelling, "That cat can do parkour!"

   The feline soon turned and ran up the fire escape, disappearing onto the rooftop. The teen shook off his shock and defeatedly walked out of the alleyway.

   He walked back to the grocery store and bought more Camembert. Once he walked out of the building, he held the bag protectively so nothing else could steal more stinky cheese. Adrien decided to go a different route and did his best to avoid alleyways.

   The one time he decided it was alright to walk by an alleyway, he heard laughter, people talking and hissing coming from inside. The blonde paused and looked into the alleyway, curiosity pulling him into a different direction.

   He thought over whether he shoulder enter or not until a loud, longing meow screeched. It grabbed a few passerby's attention but they continued on fearfully while the blonde stayed in place.

   He bit the bottom of his lip before sighing.

   "I'm declaring myself stupid for what I'm about to do," Adrien thought and began to walk into the alleyway to investigate. The ex-model turned the corner to find two boys that looked younger than him cornering the same black cat that stole his cheese from earlier.

   "Look at it! It's so dumb and scrawny! You think it can squeeze its way through a small pipe?" One of the boys said, laughing and throwing a bent can at the cat. The cat hissed, batting its claws in the air and fur sticking upon its' back.

   "Maybe, let's test it!" The other boy said, chuckling. The two boys grew closer and that's when Adrien decided to get involved.

   "Hey!" Adrien yelled, angrily. The teen crossed his arms and narrowed his eye. The two boys and cat both looked over at the blonde.

   "Oh no! We're so scared!" One of the boys said, sarcastically and both laughed.

   The other boy faked gasped, "Whatever shall we do?"

   "I think you both should leave before I drag you out myself," Adrien cooly spoke in a dark tone. Both the boys only laughed harder, much to Adrien's and the cat's annoyance. The black cat finally snapped and leaped at one of the boys. The other boy's and Adrien's eyes widen in shock.

   "AH! IT'S DIGGING ITS' CLAWS INTO MY HEAD!" The boy being attacked yelled, trying to rip the cat off of his head. The other boy ran passed Adrien in fright as the other boy backed up into the wall, smushing the cat.

   Freed from the cat's claws, the boy ran by Adrien crying for his mother. Green eyes turned away from the fleeing injured boy and over to the mischievous animal laying on its' side. The cat licked its paw to clean the blood from it and keeping a careful eye on Adrien.

   Adrien watched as the cat tried to stand on its feet and limp over to the dumpster. The teen felt pity for the hurt feline. He noticed that the cheese was gone, not that he cared at the moment.

   Yet, he wasn't expecting another cat with red fur to appear from behind the dumpster. The black cat tried to push the other back behind the dumpster but wouldn't go back.

   Wanting to help the black cat, Adrien slowly grew closer to the two felines. The black cat noticed and stood in front of the beautiful red one protectively, hissing. Adrien held up his hands in surrender.

   "It's alright. I'm not going to hurt you. I just wanna help," the blonde said before noticing a half-eaten wheel of Camembert next to the dumpster. Adrien finally realized that the cheese wasn't for the black cat but for the red one.

He relaxed, gaze settling on the two alley cats in front of him. His face formed one of worry and realization.

"You were protecting and taking care of this cat...weren't you," Adrien said, kneeling down to their level. The black cat hissed and growled as if warning him to stay back. Much to Adrien's surprise, the red feline walked around the black one and began to rub its head against the teen's bent knee.

The black cat seemed stunned by this but continued to give Adrien the stink eye and meowing. The red cat replied, the two having a conversation he wasn't able to understand.

"Please, just let me help. I promise I'll let you go afterward. We all know you won't be able to survive out here with those injuries of yours," the blonde tried to compromise, feeling silly having an argument with a cat. Yet, these two strays seemed to be pretty smart and understood what he was saying.

The black cat seemed to be debating on it for quite some time before sitting down in frustrated defeat. Adrien smiled softly at the cat and gently petted the red one, who purred.

He reached out his free hand to pet the black cat but quickly brought it back when the grumpy feline started to bat its claws in the air.

"Come on, I need to carry you somehow," Adrien said. Being the independent cat it was, the black cat began to limp its way slowly out of the alleyway. The red car followed as the teen sighed, shortly trailing behind the two.

That's when Adrien saw the Gorilla standing outside of the alleyway with crossed arms, limo parked behind him. The blonde gave a sheepish look at his bodyguard before glancing down at the two cats.

"Um..." Adrien began, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck, "Do you think we can stop at the vet really quick?"
